He seem rather annoyed when I asked him to check if he had any. I also carry some as we've had a lot of contractors come by. In any case, so much for transparent pricing. Charged $150+ to diagnose a panel, and offered half-a-fix. I was expecting $100 as I stood there and watch them take 5 minute to test if there's any voltage on the breakers. They did literally nothing else. They did not disclose the diagnostic fee before coming out. They offered to replace 2 of the 3 breakers because the other one is a gfci and they don't carry it? How about quote the gfci breaker and go buy it from Home Depot. Why the hell would I want 2/3 of my equipment repaired? Asked for a quote for a panel replacement, and it was about 2000$. They saw the large home and went on their Highway robbery scheme.

I am so glad we had AC Service come over to give us a second opinion on our central air. In the…read morewinter, we had a furnace replaced by a different company and that went horribly . When the air conditioner didn't work this summer we thought that it was probably something they didn't hook up correctly after replacing the furnace, so we had the old company come back out. They swore it was nothing they had done and that our entire central air system needed replaced and said it was going to cost us over $7000. They gave us a whole laundry list of things that they said were broken. I didn't trust them and thought it had to be something they did since it worked just fine until they replaced the furnace. So I called AC Service company out to give us a second opinion. Jarrod was amazing. It turns out that it wasn't something that the other company did wrong. However, it was a simple fix of replacing the thermostat and now the air-conditioning is working fine!!! That other company was super shady and was going to cost us over $7000 (and based on how slow they were fixing the furnace, wouldn't be done for several weeks). Jarrod of AC service company had it fixed for under $400 the same evening. And he showed us several things that the previous furnace people did that were not up to code and could be downright dangerous. AC service company saved our budget and possibly saved us a major problem next winter. I am so grateful for AC service company and I will be using them from now on! Thank You Jarrod!!!

Because of his knowledge, he found things that no other company noticed. He was able to answer all my questions clearly and in a way that I could understand, even with no knowledge of HVAC systems. He spoke very highly of the installers, which eased my mind and gave me confidence in the company. Finley and Joe were my installers. They showed up on time, introduced themselves and immediately made me feel at ease. It was very apparent to me that they were knowledgeable with the install and that Mike had communicated with them about everything that needed to be done (removing a 1970's era humidifier from my crawlspace and patching the hole). I was pleasantly surprised with how polite both installers were to each other. They routinely checked on each other and told each other thank you. Finley even asked Joe several times if he was getting too hot outside. When Joe had a question, Finley would answer it respectfully. He never seemed bothered or in a hurry but genuinely waned to help. I don't think I would ever see this level of respect in another company. Finley and Joe did a fantastic job on the installation. They were very efficient and organized. They cleaned up the worksite and even made sure that the fence was closed for my dogs. Purchasing a new HVAC system and having strangers in my home that are sawing into my roof could have been so much more stressful than what it was. I cannot thank Mike, Finley and Joe for a seamless and stress-free experience. I will be a customer for life.
