This is definitely a dive. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't it, but if you're…read moreafter good, spicy crawfish and don't mind a rough around the edges vibe, it hits the spot. Pros: The crawfish were spicy and full of flavor. They were a nice size, not small or overcooked. If you're into heat, this place delivers. It's BYOB, which is always a bonus. The young lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Cons: Gotta keep it 100% it smelled like a bait shop when we walked in. No way we could eat inside because of the smell. Luckily, they had tables outside, so we ate out there instead.

The cashier had a terrible attitude and acted like taking our order was an inconvenience. The food was honestly worse. The crawfish tasted old and not fresh at all, with barely any real seasoning. The corn and potatoes were just overloaded with spice and had no actual flavor. It felt like zero effort was put into the food. I genuinely don't understand how this place claims to have "award-winning" crawfish--there was nothing about it that even came close to that standard. And somehow it got worse--we paid for water, and instead of even attempting to get it, the cashier immediately told us they were out only after charging us. He didn't even check, which made it obvious they never had any to begin with. That's just straight-up dishonest. Overall, bad service, low-quality food, and not worth your money. Definitely will not be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I got chili (certainly not much!!), cheese (melted nacho) and bacon (nice and crispy and in small pieces, so I could eat without impersonating a dog with a chew toy) and that made my combo $13.98 before tip. Happy: There was no line when I ordered, and it was served up efficiently and cheerfully. The biggest selling point (certainly consider this if you are a northerner visiting Tx in the summer) is the large drink with free refills for the entire day--there's another stand somewhere else in the mall which was news to me. Also, I think I saw they have a hand washing station as I left. Sad: There are no tables, chairs, or benches. You will be prompted for a tip if you pay with a card. This after paying a LOT for a non-gourmet but not untasty all-beef dog. Also, half my free grilled onions were approaching burnt. For comparison, I could have gotten as much cheese and substantially more chili on a polish sausage in a pretzel bun at Weinerschnitzel for under $5 after tax. For $14 I could feed two there. I got three vegan sliders at Buzzmill this Monday for that much money, including table service. What you are paying for is convenience, time, and saving your spot in a large mall with limited parking and impressive traffic on holidays (Franky's only sets up shop when higher mall traffic is predicted). Perhaps you want to avoid a public meltdown with your partner or child. You get to decide if it's worth it. Love to the upbeat hot dog dude. I tipped bc I doubt much of the markup makes its way into *his* pocket, and it's not table service but outside the onions he did his job well.

Both my daughter and I were super hungry and thirsty. She told me on the way in, she wanted In and Out so I told her we will share a hot dog and get us a big ass drink of lemonade. The combo was a little over $10 bucks with unlimited refills on the lemonade. I didn't think that was a bad deal at all. My half of the jumbo beef hots dogs had onions and my daughter side had chili cheese. We inhaled in and it hit the spot for us to continue shopping. Not bad for an afternoon snack!

I'd wanted pho for days and I waited until the weekend to treat myself. I went in and even though there were some people seated inside, I was able to walk right up to the counter to order. It's a small but very clean place. It's well organized and would be a pleasant place to sit inside for an afternoon meal. The young man at the counter was friendly and patient. I had questions and wanted recommendations since it was my first time there. He answered everything and helped me come to a decision, even engaging in my small banter about another place I'd been that I didn't care for. My food was finished quickly which I appreciated because I was hungry. The young man let me know that usually they only provide chili oil with the pho if you ask but he provided some since it was my first time and I didn't know to ask. He said he gave me the least spicy since he wasn't sure how I was with spice. I said I LOVE...i'm basically a fire eater and he went into the kitchen to get me their hottest (level 5). I was much appreciative. Side note: I also appreciate that they don't ask for 18% minimum tip like at more and more places I'm seeing. Anyway, getting home, I unpacked my food (steak and meatball pho and egg rolls). Everything was still piping hot. I got a large soup and it was very generous. But again, I was grateful because it was so delicious. It was flavorful, herby and packed with all the additions you want in your pho. Both chili sauces were good. They both had good flavor but I'm so glad he was kind enough to get me the level 5. Eating the soup normally for most of the meal, dipping ingredients into the chili sauce or adding it to my spoon for spice here and there. Then towards the end of the bowl adding the chili sauce to the broth for a flavor changeup after most of the other ingredients had been consumed was a great end to the meal! That sauce is perfect! The egg rolls were a bit more perplexing for me. At first I wasn't sure what was inside them. There wasn't much if any veggies inside. There was, for lack of better words, a mush or paste inside. I couldn't figure out what it was but looking at the receipt it was shrimp and pork. I think they make them into a paste and add them. They didn't taste bad by any means. They were rather large, crispy and moist inside. But for me the texture was a bit of a turn off, and I would have liked a bit more veg inside. But it wasn't enough to keep me from finishing them! The crispy outside was very addictive. I can't wait to go back because there was so much I wanted to try. I'm very excited about the drinks and desserts I saw; and they have vietnamese seafood boils which I LOVE. Thinking about it now makes me want to make a run!
