We recently rented one of their new pontoon boats that is big enough for 10 people for a fun day on the lake. 10 out of 10, better than expected! It was super luxe with an awesome sound system, a canopy for shade, plenty of storage and tons of room for everyone to sit. They don't call it the minivan of the boating world for nothing! Lol The team that set us up was great and they took their time orienting us to the boat. Adding on the SEA BEAST took the adventure up a level and the kids had a blast being pulled behind the boat. We lucked out with beautiful weather the water was amazing. The lake was warmer than the ocean, clear and refreshing. Even though my husband thought leaving our beach vacation for a day on the lake was nuts-- he thanked me later. We can't wait come rent a boat again! read more

We recently rented a motorboat from Long Beach during a 3-day weekend to Maine. At pickup, the owner was very nice and helpful. Along with the price, she was headed for a good review. Then we got the boat. Right from the start we realized the horn was dead. Coupled with the fact that the fuel gauge repeatedly jumped from full to 1/4 seemingly for no reason, and the fact that the 12-volt adapter didn't work, we were not happy. Finally, when we returned the boat after stopping at a beach with some young children in our party, she complained that there was too much sand in the boat and that she should charge us a $50 cleaning fee. I don't know about you, but throwing a bucket of water in a boat to remove sand shouldn't cost $50. After complaining, she decided to only charge us $25. Don't go here under any circumstances unless you are looking to be nickel and dimed to death for a semi-working boat. read more

Just spent the day on our boat and jet ski rental from Long Beach Marina. What a day!!!!! Perfect fun for our entire gang with an age range of 4 to 68!!!! We may just make this an annual thing. Thanks to the wonderful and polite kids that work there. They were knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Great family owned business! We've lived on the lake for years and only gas up at Long Beach Marina. Being the only gas dock on the lake with treated 93 octane, I trust only the best for my boat. Rented a boat from them a couple times when the extended family comes up. Always great service, clean facility and even cleaner boats! Gassed up next to a couple rentals from down the road and LBM definitely has the newest and cleanest rentals around! If you want the best, trust LBM! read more

Great location on the lake and an ample team that was working hard to get everyone out on the water. The boat was perfect, I gave 4 stars because they are one of the more expensive in the area and the amount they charged for gas was one dollar off from what they said on the dock. Otherwise it was a great experience and much easier to navigate out to the water than nearby Sebago Lake Marina if you're comparison shopping. Long Beach Marina - True Story I rented a boat from Long Beach Marina for a week while staying at Sebago Lake. It was a good week and my family enjoyed themselves. I returned the boat to Long Beach Marina around 3:30 PM on the last day to avoid a line - before the 5:00 PM requirement. When I returned the boat, they looked it over and then thanked me for returning it in such great condition. They said that it looked like I had not even used it and that I would get the $1,500 damage deposit returned. After getting home the next day (7/25), I received a call from a woman at the Marina saying that the Bimini covering was missing from the boat and they were going to charge me $100. I told them that I never used the bimini - or even unzipped the pouch that holds it. The woman did not believe me and told me that "these things don't just disappear". I assured her multiple times that I didn't even touch the bimini zipper to open it. Every time I said that, she said these things don't just disappear with the implication (and tone) that I stole it. (This back and forth happened about 5 times.) We hung up the call. Three days later (7/28) I checked my credit card transactions and saw that they had in fact charged me $100 despite my strong denials that I stole it. I called them immediately to let them know that this is unacceptable. The young man who answered the phone put me on hold; then came back on the phone and told me that they found the bimini covering in another boat bag...two days ago (7/26). No one called me to tell me they found it. No one called me to tell me that they were sorry for accusing me of stealing it. No one called me to tell me they would refund the $100. I have since called back twice asking to speak with the owner. I have not received a call back from the owner or been issued a $100 refund. This is how they treat a customer who paid in full, returned on time, returned in excellent condition and respected their property. read more

I have dealt with many many marinas on Sebago Lake in my 30 years of boating on the lake.. I can tell you after mooring my boat at Long Beach Marina last summer that I won't hesitate for a split second to go back... A first class operation from the deck hands being readily available to dock your boat to pumping fuel and ferrying you out to your boat.. The owners and staff are without a doubt the friendliest and most professional on the lake.. Cheapest fuel prices on the lake as well, always a big plus!!! read more

I was on a camping vacation with friends. Renting a plauntoon boat from the Long Beach Marina. This day was the reason people drove 2-3 hours to enjoy the day on Sabago Lake I was on a camping vacation with friends. What was planned to be a fun day going out with friends and tubeing turned out to be the complete opposite. There was a motor issue with out plauntoon boat so we took the boat back hoping to get a new boat. There were no other boats that could be rented so we were offered a rain check to come back another day. A employee had taken the boat out to see if they could find the issue and she found it with in 10 minutes. Now we were given the direction not to go above 10 mph and they would credit the tube. Mainly because we couldn't use it. After a long day on the lake going 10mph we had come in to return the plauntoon. I had talked to the manager and he was first very understanding on how things ended up on the water and said that he would do what he could do to reimburse me. I told him I have no intention on coming back and he lost it on me. First thing he said was " your experience better not go on Yelp" and that thought didnt even cross my mind. What did get to me is when I was standing with my friend to settle up he looked directly at me said directly to me " these people are his customer's not me" when it comes to business the best way to get business is word of mouth. I was thinking about renting one next year and that is not going to happen. Insted of not charging full price we were given a free day for next year. That was a nice gesture but it should have given a discount that day. Who is to say I will be there next year to go through the same experience. read more

I went there for Gas and sat at the dock while the kids who worked there were hanging out. I finally get my gas and watch them spill half of it into the nice clean lake. I will also say I am a resident of the beach. The owner has this MASSIVE barge you could hook a cruise ship up to and it crowds the Beach and they have enough moorings for a Navy fleet. Horrible experience at Long Beach marina. We made a reservation for a pontoon boat. We drove over an hour to get to the lake group was super excited for a day on the water. Everything seemed great had us fill out paperwork and charged credit card for damage deposit. Then owner tells us our boat was damaged the night before and since we were the last group to book we do not have a boat for the day. WHAT?? We never received a call or warning about this issue and were not told of this when we arrived. We are very disappointment in the customer service as well as the lack of sympathy for our situation. Owner very unprofessional and disorganized. I would think twice before giving them business. read more

Been using the Long Beach Marina over the past 20 years. It has gotten to the point I don't even want to fuel up there let a lone rent a boat, mooring, or anything else. Sam is a great guy however Jan is miserable to deal with. She is rude, condescending, and has no business dealing with paying customers. Ever since Katrina left, it has really gone down hill. Young kids working with no supervision. Last year Jan was there quite a bit and you could see the frustration with employees and customers. Stay Away. Fuel up at Sebago Lake Marina, just 2 miles away. I normally don't give bad reviews though Jan continues to get worse. If you read other reviews at other sites you will see the collective consensus. Her conduct prompted her to respond to negative reviews that were posted 5 years ago. Sad but true. read more

Just got back from a week at the lake. We called Friday night to reserve 3 jet skis, no problem just show up a little early for 9am rental. We get there and there are 2 people were headed out to the jet skis. The young girls who worked there were confused and called over the older woman to figure it out. They only have the 4 jet skis and the people heading out to them had reserved one but 2 people showed up. They gave ours away and then say "Well, the Ayers booked last night, so they booked first, I took the reservation" My husband said "yes, we ARE the Ayers" "oh" she says I can give you 2 jet skis for 1.5hrs instead. Total BS. Didn't even try to see if that would work for the other group that Long Beach screwed up. So one person in our group could sit on the dock and wait their turn. UNLIKELY. That was actually our 3rd time there that week we already gave them so much $$$ and that is how we were treated. NEVER again would I go there. ABSOLUTELY no customer service. read more

My family and I were looking for a nice day out on the beautiful Sebago Lake while staying in Raymond for vacation. After renting the boat from online we thought it would be a perfect fit. WRONG. Prior to arrival to the "marina", we had emailed the company confirming it was okay for our family friendly SERVICE German Shepard to come aboard the boat. We received no reply, which we assumed meant no problem. As we arrived at the "marina", we were greeted by some of the rudest staff I have ever experienced. When we approached the dock with our family friendly SERVICE dog, they immediately told us NO dogs allowed. We first referenced the email and how there was no response. Literally, their response was "oops we sent the email to the wrong person" and we can't allow the dog because it "took two weeks to clean the hair after the last dog." WHAT?! Then we brought up the fact that our dog was a SERVICE dog and how they were federally obligated to provide service. We were obviously shocked and asked why, which they proceeded to tell us they were calling the owner. They came back five minutes later and told us the owner still would not allow the dog until speaking to their lawyers. That was the last straw and we decided to pack up and come right down the street to Moose Landing. This place was complete opposite and provided service within five minutes of arrival. Regarding long beach "marina", we were appalled with the awful service we received. If you are looking for a fun family time DO NOT GO HERE. I hope they realize they violated the FEDERAL law with our service dog and were just plain inconsiderate and rude. In addition we have not received a refund to our awful experience with this place. My family is severely disappointed by the disrespect to our disabled family member and have never seen anything like it. I have experienced some bad service in my years but nothing comes close to this idiocracy. read more

What a great experience!!!! We rented jet skis for the day. They were new and well kept. The marina is owned by a family and they are so wonderful to do business with. We will definitely go there year after year to rent. thank you Long Beach Marina. read more
