Captain Phil was very welcoming and accommodating helping to set up reservations at Diamond Cove. So many options to explore around Casco Bay and a great way to get away from the summer tourist crowds in Portland. You can become a deckhand and hoist sails, or just do what I did--chillax! The 33' Grace is very comfortable, with ample room for a maximum of six passengers. We had fabulous weather, and Captain Dave delivered big time on the promised seal sightings (and one dolphin). I only sailed twice previously at home in NJ; this was far more enjoyable! If I return to Freeport I'll take a six-hour cruise!

From now on when I'm in the area, I will look to purchase a few dozen. The staff were super friendly. They quickly shucked oysters and placed them on ice chips. There were tiny bits of lemon wedges available along with several outstanding condiments. I'm a purist. I like my oysters raw, on the half shell with just a bit of lemon. These didn't need a thing. Right off the shell they were briny and bright.

You will be taken through old town and get the history of Britain destroying about 800 homes. There are several famous people from the area too. This was about a four hour tour which included information on local restaurants. I recommend this tour. You see a lot and have a good laugh with others on the tour. Our driver was great. He could take a joke as well as give them.
