So definitely not my normal type of business to be reviewing, but hey, they had a sign up asking people to review them, and that is probably also where my boss found them, and I like numbers going up anyway. So yeah - after a heck of a time trying to find somewhere that still does old-school paper fingerprints for a client I obviously won't name, other than to say it's in the government sector, whose contractor verification system is stuck in the 90s and only took old-school paper fingerprints... ended up here a few days ago. After making an appointment online (thanks for not requiring me to call to make an appointment!), got a text the next day confirming it, showed up at the designated time, definitely did *not* see in the text message, by the way, that it had a gate code in it, which it probably did (I was also nervous when, through the gate, their sign said they closed at 4, despite having made a 4:30 appointment... they need to fix their sign, they close at 5 M-F. Anyway, once I got in, it took about half an hour total - again, partially because the reason I was there instead of going to the official PD fingerprinting down the street from me was because the client *needed* ink fingerprints, and nobody does that anymore, because it's inherently a pain. The guy doing it was super friendly though, and did a great job. (As he replied when I told him that's why I was there: more business for them, I guess!) Plenty of parking, too. Absolutely can't speak to prices, though - as a consultant, I've gotten fingerprinted several times, but I'm never the one paying for it! read more

I was looking for a business to conduct a livescan for me, I came across Long Beach Live Scan, and I saw the stars and that they were Black Woman owned, so my decision was made. I was unable to make my initial appointment, however they provided a self serve appointment link so I was able to reschedule without a headache. The office was clean and chaos free, I've had two undesirable run-ins with poorly managed facilities. Everything was orderly, the process went smoothly and was immensely professional. You can tell when someone/people put time and energy into creating efficient solutions and systems toward their business. As a customer it's greatly appreciated and observed.
