It's fine if it's the type of place that sells "just used books" or "just used CDs" or "just used video games". But when you find a place that does all of those things, you've now just given me a place to browse, drool, and probably anger to distraction anyone who expects me anywhere in the next while. Chumleighs is this. Used books, used CDs, used DVDs and used video games for several platforms. Divided by medium and then further by genre, you could easily spend at least an hour perusing the aisles. When I showed up there, I only had about 20 minutes to devote to searching, which probably explains how I only left with a retro Activision game sampler game disc for the PS2...Shut up, I like Pitfall! There's a lot of stuff here and you should probably go when you have some time to devote to the quest. Business must be pretty good for Chumleighs since they had to open a second location in the north of the city. Not bad for the reselling of other people's stuff.

Home Depot sources their deliveries and pick ups by an external contractor (The Carr Group). This…read moregroup arrived promptly on time to haul away an old applicance; however, had to move it to the curb because their 'truck was full'. This was at 0900 hrs in the morning. They indicated they would be back later to pick it up. They did not. When contacting the HomeDepot customer service via text, they offered that it can be picked up over 4 days later! and that the company only delivers certain days. What does not make sense is, why did they not have space for a haul away (that's their job); and why did they not come back when they said they would. Home Depot needs to reconsider whom they source their deliveries with. I, for one, will not purchase another appliance for delivery unless they manage the delivery themselves; not subcontracts. As an aside, the one of the delivery persons asked me if I were Fillipino (which is quite inappropriate); especially given I'm quite clearly a very pale Caucasian.

One of the only consignment stores in Kingston. I've found a few great deals here over the years,…read moremy favourite one being a Marc Jacobs tote bag for $20.00! However, this isn't one of those stores where you leave with a huge haul every single time (like Value Village or Talize). They have a smaller selection and prices are a bit higher, so I tend to be picker when selecting items to buy here. The store is fairly well laid out, and I appreciate that the clothing is color coded (Talize does this as well, but Value Village does not). I also like that the price of the item decreases the longer it's on the sales floor, which is unique. I often think of consigning here, but to be honest after reading the rules on the website, it seems like it would be a bit of a hassle. For example, it says that they don't accept items over 2 years old. How on earth can they tell (besides the item being in poor condition)? One time when I inquired about consigning, they told me about all the "cheaper" brands that they don't accept...yet every time I go in, I see those brands! It's also strange that on the website it says that Danier is one of their best selling brands, yet they say they don't accept leather coats (yes I understand Danier doesn't JUST have leather jackets, but you get where I'm coming from). Also, this might just be me, but I wish the change rooms had actual doors and not just curtains. I don't know how many times a lady has just waltzed right into my change room while I'm changing! No etiquette it seems. All in all, a few minor inconveniences, but it's a store I will continue to visit once every couple of months to see what's new.

Pretty sad they hide my review under google so no one sees it and blocked my email on google so I…read morecouldn't post my review again after they responded to it shows even more what kind of people they are that's why they have a 5 star rating on google cause they hide/block the bad reviews from everyone but to their response and people will eventually see for themselves their true colours when it comes to not backing their work and how they lie.... To their response on google rating you're so full of it the emails back and forth that you're going on about were about the tattoo's I got done with Yous and paid for and the demand was to fix my tattoo line that you messed up on and you won't honour your work at all and no your policy is made up and not reasonable at all the work should be backed up and fixed so no Karen/Derek you didn't try to work with me at all but in fact lied and said I had my free fix up on my grandparents tattoo when I didn't you're all about the money and not the costumer plain and simple so no I don't recommend yous at all and blaming me in an email for your messed up line is a low so no it wasn't cause of my meds or not taking care of the tattoo it was your mess up not mine and if you were so concerned about my meds and health why did you tattoo me and pocket my money pretty fast???? And not just one tattoo but with two of them I will tell you why cause you're all about the money not the costumer by the way i will find another tattoo place that does back their work and can actually do fine line tattooing not someone like you that can't do a line properly and is all about the money!!!!! I will be telling people I know or that ask about your business to Avoid your place if you want honest people that back their work!!!!!! If I could give this business no stars I would. Not impressed i got two tattoos done from them with Derek and added to my memorial tattoo with Hannah that works there I paid for all my services with them. I have receipts to back everything and not once did I ever get one free touch up service with them for any of the two tattoo's I received from them. They don't back their work they do, they lie and say when you need a touch up that you used your 1 free complimentary touch up service with them or make up a 6 month policy or blame you for their f*ck up and that you need to pay derek 150 to get a touch up. This business is shady and I will never use their services again or my family use them and I will never recommend them. They also like to ignore your emails when they know they're lying and can't back what they're claiming, well Karen, Feb 3 I paid for my second tattoo with derek, by not getting a free complimentary service with Derek shows how much you lie. So if you want a tattoo, go somewhere else that backs their work when it needs a touch up, not a shady business that they have running all about money. This is the touch up I need on my memorial tattoo that Derek did; a little line fixed, and they are wanting 150 plus hst for and won't honour their 1 time free complimentary service and back their work but saying I already used it when I never used anything for touch ups nothing but liars and don't back anything they do in tattoos their all about money not the customer! Avoid them at all cost they don't back their work!
