do not buy a kit from Winslow/texwin. it is not a kit, it is a partial amount of material to build…read morea building. Even though you have a parts list unless you have put up one of their buildings you are taking their word that you have everything you need. I purchased a 24 x 25 building they only gave me 22 foot of ridge cap. The instructions that were drawn out on a piece of paper and given to me, is for the trim ,stated to go under the roof and over the wall. This is not correct. You have to go under both. They only give you enough foam, trim for the ridge cap. You will have to purchase additional foam strips to finish the outer Edge of your roof. Also, you will not get any hardware with your rollup door. If you order one. They only give the rails and the rollup, no doorstop or hardware. There are no blueprints or instructions for this building. This kit came with no instructions beside the hand drawn diagram about the trim I have had to cut every piece of metal except for rafters. I emailed them to question them about my materials that I was missing the have failed to reply. When I was getting a quote on purchasing this building, it only took them 5 to 10 minutes to reply to my emails.

However, when I called them to come and install a carport at my mom's house next door, they were very quick to take my deposit. The very next day we found out that my uncle on the other side of the country is on his deathbed. I subsequently called my rep to advise that we were going to have to cancel the installation because we need to use that money to fly the family out there to see my uncle before he passes. I was told that my deposit is nonrefundable, even though it was not mentioned verbally to me. It was apparently on the document that I signed, but obviously I didn't read every single fine print and it was not mentioned to me verbally. I am being told that the best they can do is hold a deposit for any future install. This is ridiculous to say the least. A death in the family is a pretty good excuse and this heartless company is holding onto the $400 deposit as if they had started actually working on the account. This was a day after the visit so they didn't even start cutting metal or anything. And oh yeah, not to mention, my mother is recently widowed, 87 years old, and relies on Social Security for her income. The manager that was supposed to call me back three days ago has not bothered to call me to discuss this at all. I am disinclined to ever use them again, and if anyone ever asks me about this company, I will gladly share this.
