After moving here in February we needed to establish a vet for our 2 dogs. In the meantime we adopted a kitten who became very sick as soon as we got her. I called around and Lone Tree was the only place able to take us same day. When we brought Zelda in she was like a rag doll and needed help ASAP! We saw Dr. Moyle and Claire who took amazing care of her and treated us with such compassion and kindness while we were in tears over our new baby kitty. While running every test under the sun we waited patiently in the waiting room. Dr. Moyle came out multiple times to update us on the status of each test and assure us she was in good hands. When they were finishing up with Zelda, Dr. Moyle took me on a tour of the entire facility. I was highly impressed with every inch of the building, the cleanliness, and the wonderful staff! Over the next 2 months we brought both dogs in and the kitty back a few times for more shots and follow up appointments. Dr. Mercuri was gentle and extremely sweet to Zelda on all her follow up appointments as we brought her back to a healthy kitten! Dr. Voss is now our regular vet for Kobe and Cora (dogs) and he is very patient and thorough! Dr. Voss told us about their new boarding school program for our fearful pup Cora and we enrolled her almost immediately! It was a two week program for $650. We brought Cora in on Tuesday's and picked her up on Friday's. She spent the week trying with Eric working on her behavior. While she is a very good listener, she wanted terribly to attack our new cat as well as every dog, leaf, and car on our daily walks! Eric called me and asked exactly what I wanted out of Cora and he delivered! When my wife and I went to pick her up on Friday we were almost in tears as she was running around happily with his dogs in the room! (She does not like any other animal!) We brought Cora home on Friday, she ran in the house sniffed the cat and walked away! Throughout the weekend both became friends and our house was calm and comfortable! I am 100% satisfied with every experience we've had here! We have not once felt pressured to buy anything or do any treatments we felt unnecessary! Everyone only did what we asked or was needed and they always followed up with a call to see how everyone was doing after coming home!

had to put my cat Elmo to sleep on Tuesday - He had a nasal tumor that was inoperable - he was only 7. I've never had to put a pet to sleep before..I discovered late Monday night that his nose started bleeding heavily, and for the first day in his life, he refused food..I knew this was what I had been dreading the past 8 months. I called every animal hospital/vet clinic in the area, and then I spoke with Amanda at Lone Tree - She was so incredibly kind and helpful with explaining everything, and in addition to being the best place, they had the lowest prices - I am a Banfield member, and I opted to go here over there, they were nicer, and again had lower prices despite what I pay per month there (I will be switching) They have a special 'Comfort Room' that is just for saying goodbye to your pet - it has nice leather furniture and blankets in a quiet, home like setting - I was able to bring Elmo's best friend, Yoda, who made himself comfortable (as pictured on the ottoman!) Which I thought was important for Elmo, as well as Yoda to sense where Elmo went rather than having him disappear suddenly - I was in such a distraught state that I was not entirely aware of everything happening, so it was so helpful to have everyone be so kind - Amanda again was absolutely above and beyond sweet, and they all treated Elmo so well. Most importantly, Elmo was able to relax and was as comfy as possible - and I was able to lay with him on the couch, with my friend who came with me having plenty of room to be there for support with her own space - We were able to stay until they closed - I had privacy to sing him his favorite song, and tell him his life story before finally saying goodbye. (I also really liked that they were open until 8, it gave me extra time I very much needed. I have these photos that show how nice the room is, and how comfortable we were) I am so grateful to everyone there for making this horrible time less horrible than it might have been elsewhere. Would give more stars if possible! Thank you again, Amanda!

I would absolutely give Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center 10 Stars. We have been doing business with them for 10 years. Our 9 year old Golden Retriever had some tumor type growths that needed to be removed. We just picked her up and she is doing great. They took a lot of extra time to explain the procedure, they took us back to see her in recovery. When it comes to our pets we want the best care...and we found it at Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center! Also, they are wonderful for boarding your pets. I highly recommend them.

I found a dog and he was chipped! His name is Ranger, and Lone Tree Veterinarians found and called his owners!

Fine but expensive. Could have saved over $200 but having my dog spayed at Rocky Mountain in Highlands Ranch.

Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.

Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming, they really take the time to listen. They encourage you to ask questions and explain everything clearly so you feel comfortable with the care your pet is receiving. May 2022 was one of the hardest months of my life…read more My husband and I lost both of our 17 year old kitties within 3 weeks of each other and to say we were devastated is an understatement. When we started to notice both of our kitty's decline - one after the other - we weren't sure what to do. Seeing their active decline and wanting to keep them out of pain, we knew putting them at ease was for the best. THE hardest decision, but one that we knew was right. With our usual vet booked out for days, we opted to do a simple search for spots near our home who could assist in the process. Our main concern was keeping them comfortable and letting them go in a quick, sweet, painless manner, so after seeing WellHaven and the wonderful google reviews, we knew just the place. While we were there for other reasons than other Yelpers, we found WellHaven to be amazing. We were able to book appointments over the phone and online, speak with the nurses and doctor prior and say our goodbye's in a quiet and peaceful way. The staff is truly unbelievable in that they are insanely sweet, gentle and sympathetic. They were very professional, explained the process to us and allowed us to mourn as long as we wanted. Pricing is very reasonable for services and an additional outside service has paired with WellHaven to provide proper burial and cremation services for a small cost, while a paw print with your pets name stamped onto it is free of charge. We opted to get both girls' ashes which were ready less than a week later, which came in a beautiful small engraved box, which pairs perfectly next to their tiny paw prints! We also received cards in the mail signed by each member of the WellHaven team which was heartwarming and a very sweet touch. WellHaven also serves as a vet clinic, ortho clinic AND as a doggy day care/camp, and is NOT just a place for the sad stuff. When we are ready to adopt new pets, we will definitely return to WellHaven for amazing pet care.
