I went here one evening because my dog was pacing after being at the dog park. I am that helicopter…read moredog mom that notices if anything is off with my doggo. He's a corgi so he has to be careful with his long body. He apparently had some mild back pain and couldn't get comfortable. So, in we went to the urgent care. The staff there were so great and gracious. They explained what they thought it was because of the exercises they did and he winced when they did the check along his back. My poor bunny hopper. They prescribed some Rimadyl and something else, and within a few days he was feeling so much better. He needs to live in a bubble because he is such a "delicate flower." heh. Anyway, I would definitely return here. The urgent care visit fee is $149 but if you go during the day, I believe they said it was $75. Also, they have monthly plans similar to Banfield, and they are pretty comprehensive. Thank you WellHaven - -you are greatly appreciated!!

I stayed with this practice for four years, largely out of loyalty after they correctly diagnosed…read moremy first dog's diabetes. That turned out to be the only accurate diagnosis we ever got here. Last year they told me my dog had severe cancer and gave me two options: put her to sleep, or pay for an ultrasound. They prescribed cancer medication and had us wait two weeks for that ultrasound. Something felt wrong, so I pushed to get it done. The result: a bladder infection. Not cancer. We spent over $1,000 on visits, medication, and imaging for a misdiagnosis that nearly cost my dog her life. There was no apology for the two weeks of grief they put us through, no refund, just a shrug. Other vets I've spoken with since were genuinely shocked this was missed. Our experiences at Meridian have so far only been positive aside from a cost misunderstanding one…read moretime, but that was likely due to the vet who we were told is not a regular at this spot but was covering. Regardless, I have a 12 year old cat that I've brought here for a regular check up, teeth removal, and mani/pedi (not sure what the official name is? Nail clipping I guess but mani/pedi sounds more fun). Of note, I do not have pet insurance. Despite that I thought the prices so far have been reasonable given location. For the teeth removal they have a brochure that explains what the cost includes and how much it would cost depending on number of teeth removed. They also deduct about $100 from the cost if you've gotten labs done beforehand - here is where the misunderstanding happened for us. I'd gotten a kitty check up before where a blood test was required and I believe it was slightly above $200. During the check up it was revealed that my cat would require some of her teeth removed, which I was expecting to hear (and I'd originally made the appt saying I believe my cat will require some teeth removed). I was told that they would deduct the cost of the labs, which I had to get as part of check up, from the total cost of teeth removal surgery which I was ecstatic about considering how expensive the whole endevour was going to end up being. Well, come day of surgery I'm told that no, they don't deduct the entire cost of labs, just $100. They explained to me that there must have been a misunderstanding. It was a bit frustrating to be honest but I was aware that a covering vet had helped us out last time and in all likelihood she wasn't fully aware of costs, etc associated and she probably just gave me wrong info. So, not a great thing to hear of course, but what can you do, you know? Otherwise my experience with this spot has been great so far, hence the 5 star review. I'll keep bringing my cat back here for any issues in the future. I appreciate their appointment availability and the staff I've interacted with so far have all been great.

If you're not gonna let people leave detailed reviews why do you even have a review system? I tried to explain everything in detail about what a horrible experience I had with them. They paid somebody to take down the review or something. Listen they couldn't get my dog's name right they couldn't get my name right all they did was yell and scream and it wasn't a good deal. If you really wanna know what happened try to contact me. lol
