I needed new filters for my 22 year old Miele. I hadn't replaced them in a while, and couldn't remember how many I needed and where they went. The shop is clean and well organized. I wish I could buy a more updated Miele, but mine is still doing a great job even after 22 years. The owner was especially helpful and friendly. I stopped in the other day to pick up a service box (bags, filters, etc.) for my vacuum. While I was there, I mentioned a problem I was having with my vacuum to the guy behind the counter. He said it sounded like it need a new roller brush and asked if I had ever replaced it. I've had this vacuum for about ten years or so and had never replaced the brush. I had always thought it looked OK but bought the replacement anyway. Long story short - The vacuum is working like new. The problem I was having with it has completely disappeared! I could have bought the service box for less online than from Lone Star, but if I hadn't stopped in and discussed the problem, the vacuum would still not be working right. The people who work here are very nice and seem to know their business very well. One $30 part made a big difference and kept me from potentially wasting money on a new vacuum (I never would have thought the problem was the roller brush). As far as I'm concerned, Lone Star Vacuum in Grapevine gets all my business. read more

Well it got cleaned and no it did not need a new brush (just got cleaned) and i didn't get the stand fix (i am ok with it the way it is) and no I didn't need to replace the hose, it all STILL works. It just needed cleaning and new filters. So all you future customers look elsewhere because not only of they have BAD SERVICE they also try to OVER SALE YOU. I have a dyson 15 which is about 5 years old and it had never been serviced before. I knew it needed a few things done to it. So I took it to Lone Star Vacuume to get an estimate. When I steped foot in the store the operations manager(Andy) tried to sell me a canaster vaccume that I didnt like. I told him that I really loved my Dyson and didnt want to use anything else he then told me I didnt really know what a good vacumme was. (great Custoner service right there!!) If Dyson was such a bad vaccume then why do they sell them in their store? About 2 weeks later I get a call with the estimate. It was a little expensive but I really had no choice I needed it fixed. Our Family went on vacation when we got back I received a nasty voicemail message from a man named Keith Saying they had my vaccume for some time can I pick it up they wanted to get rid of it. I went in that day to get it paid my bill trying to remain calm! this guy came out of the back and said I see you received my voicemail I said yes. he said well I needed it out of here we have no space! I was so tired of their rudness! I just picked up my vacume and walked out. Long story short I will never go back there EVER again and I will tell anyone I know to STAY far away from there. They treat customers like trash. Please find another place to take your vacuum. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THERE!!! read more

Bought a Miele vacuum cleaner there. Realized after a month or so that it was missing the bag clamp so I went back to get one. They said I couldn't have bought my vac there as they had just started selling them. OK, call me liar, I know where I spent my money. Went back last week to have an obviously clogged hose fixed. Left if for a week, got it back, stuck it in the closet. Pulled it out yesterday to use and still jammed. Took it back in, left it overnight and got a call today that it was fixed. Went in to get it, was accused of re-clogging the hose after I got it home. Told them that didn't happen and couldn't of happened as the product hadn't been fixed and had no suction. They kept insisting it had been fixed and I had re-clogged it. OK, 2nd time they've basically called me a liar. At least they "waived the fee" to do what they should have done originally. Think they're going to get a 3rd chance? Be sure you document, video, have a witness and Notary with you if you do business with these people. They're happy to sell you an expensive vac (who isn't) but customer service and customer relations is foreign to them. read more
