Had the best time at Lone Star Ranch!!! We have been coming to Texas for a while and never been horse back riding. I went for my birthday and it was the perfect day, so much fun on the horse trails. Our guide, Savannah knew so much about horses, the owner Tina was so nice, and Maddie was super sweet. We will be coming back!

We went for a company event, the place was wonderful. So many different activities, good drinks. Staff and animals are very friendly.

My friend and I had so much fun with Jillian on a 1030am 1.5h Texas Train Ride today! The ride was super easy to book online. The ranch is easy to find and not far from town. The ranch itself is so welcoming and well maintained, I could definitely envision events and group gatherings there. She picked the perfect horses for us and we felt so safe under her direction. The horse trainers are so friendly and knowledgeable there and make novices like us feel very welcome. I'm excited to bring my family including kiddos back next time. Thank you!

This is a really cool place. True ranch folks runnin' this joint! Love the horses, which they take really good care of. Trail was just perfect. Lots of country-side, running creek, and plenty of mother nature. Can't wait to take the kiddos next time.

The greeting at arrival could be better, but the trail leader, the horses and the area was awesome! Worth the money and I will be back!

Lovely place to go if you're new to riding horses or if you just want to do something fun. The Wranglers were super nice and helpful. I absolutely adored all the horses that were there. 10/10 would do this again!!!

Clean Well-Organized Ranch & Arena, Well-Marked Trails, Creek, Meadow, Wildflowers, Woodlands, only a very small hill in beginning and end, wear helmets for safety but also to block branches, horses are well-trained with beautiful coats & mature temperaments, staff & wranglers are friendly & informative and show kindness & care to horses. Thank you Shay for a fantastic ride for mom's bday. We enjoyed the morning with you and your horses Dude, Dakota, Lady. Will definitely return for another ride. Thank You!

This place was awesome. Me and my wife came for her birthday. We did ATV riding, skeet shooting, and horseback riding. All of the staff were super kind and polite and ver attentive. I have a terrible memory for names but the Ranch operations manager was a US Army Veteran like myself, and we had a great time with him as our guide through ATV riding and skeet shooting. I do wish the trails for ATV's went further than just in the one area, but it was fun nonetheless! Skeet shooting was great, extra rounds for us since we went kind of fast having so much fun! The horseback riding was great, the horses were beautiful and very calm, easy to manage if you are a first timer! I also do wish they had different levels of advancement for the quick trail rides! Maybe have it more private for just me and my wife, give us some time to ride a bit faster than a walk. I do believe they may have that option for booking, but I'm not sure. Anyways, nice place to go to and have fun for the day, definitely would recommend!

I went on a trail ride last week lead by our amazing guide Emma. Upon arriving the horses were already tacked up and ready to go. They all looked great! Emma was incredibly knowledgeable and knew the trails well. She was confident in instructing those who needed it and by the end those she instructed were not ready to be done with the trails! I even got a chance to meet the owner of the company and she was very interested in feedback from our experience! 10/10 would recommend and I cannot wait to go back again.

I highly recommend Lone Star Ranch & Rodeo. A group of us went to go trap shooting - and it was so fun. Every single employee are the nicest people we've ever met. Before we shot, they brought us to feed horses and cows. They were so welcoming and offered us free barbecue after trap shooting was over. Tina was so nice, and Devyn was amazing! If you go to Austin, you have to check this place out!

Phenomenal Experience -- We'll Be Back!…read more My sister and I booked the last two available spots for a completely spur-of-the-moment horseback ride with @texastrailrides at @lonestarranchtexas, and wow... it was absolutely phenomenal. What a perfect way to start our first adventure of the year, especially in the Year of the Horse This year, we've decided to create moments instead of buying things, and this experience was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The instructions were clear and simple, making the ride comfortable even if you haven't been on a horse in a while. Our instructor, Annabelle, was AMAZING -- knowledgeable, calm, kind, and truly attentive the entire time. I had the honor of riding Poncho, a strong, steady, and beautiful horse. There was something incredibly grounding about simply walking the trails, crossing through water, and fully trusting him to guide us safely -- and he absolutely did. That connection, that peace, that trust... unforgettable. We enjoyed this experience so much that we already know we'll be back in March, and we plan to end this year the same way we started it -- on horseback, making memories together. If you're looking for horseback riding in Texas, I highly recommend this trail ride. It's peaceful, empowering, well-guided, and truly soul-filling. Thank you @texastrailrides, @lonestarranchtexas, Annabelle, and Poncho -- we can't wait to ride again

Star Hill Ranch looks like a little cowboy western town. Something straight out of a western tv movie. With little buildings, a small church, and a gorgeous back drop. Stage in the back, and lawn, and the hills and trees behind the stage. Old Ford trucks. Just the most picturesque back drop for any event. Truly is the most Texas scenery I've seen. The mac & grilled cheese event was spectacular. So many samples and so much fun. Gorgeous day to start out with. All the venders were delightful. Explaining their sample dish. Some used cheese that I've never heard of. Some using my personal favorite cheese and some of the most inventive toppings. Flaming hot Cheetos, green onions, pickled onions, pickles, just so creative outside the standard mac & cheese. No Kraft box in sight at this event! Event itself was very well organized. A speaker came on a few times and asked how everyone was doing, getting the crowd of people pumped up. Making sure everyone was informed throughout. A lot of crew members walking around too to answer questions and guiding people to the right areas. There were some tables overlooking the gorgeous back drop of the mountains and stage. Everywhere was a photograph moment. I would absolutely go back next year. I would probably get the VIP tickets verses the general addition. The VIP gets you into lounges and an hour earlier into the event.

After googling drive through weddings in Austin trying to find something similar to Vegas, I came across this little white chapel. The photos are just as cute as in person and the couple who officiate are the absolute sweetest. They make the moment special but also light hearted and friendly. We upgraded to go in instead of drive through and I am so glad I did. She took great photos with our phone (you can also upgrade that too, to professional photos). There are several packages to chose from with even more upgrades if you like. They are adding on to the back and it is looking super cute if you want an evening wedding with lights outside etc. The airstream they have is super cool too. Overall such a wonderful experience and I am so glad we found this little treasure hidden in the hill country hills.

Inside only Mexican music is playing and the signs and tags are in Spanish first and English second. As soon as you walk in the door and steer towards the bakery, you will be very impressed with the selection of numerous beautifully decorated cakes and baked goods. Next to the bakery, you will find a hot food buffet where you can get it to go or sit at one of six picnic tables across the way.
