I have had cystic acne since the age of 12…read more My old dermatologist in San Antonio told me I had the biggest cysts they have ever seen within the 25 years of practice, just to give you an idea of what I was dealing with. Within the past few years, it has calmed down but the cysts are still huge, painful, and still too many of them to count. Prescription pills, creams, and any OTC either never worked for or lasted long. When I first talked to Kim, I was ordering a face wash that had helped keep my cysts a little under control. Kim had told me "I can help you get your skin clear and we can help with the scarring, too." I had heard that SO MANY TIMES already I didn't believe her. She asked me to come in for a consultation and I brought my products with me so she could see what my routine was. Kim's office is very welcoming and it is definitely a no judgment zone! She also understood all the pain (emotionally and physically) that I have been through. We came up with a plan to conquer my acne and set up my next appointment. She recommended products and told me what foods to stay away from. After the first treatment of extractions (which are painful, but worth it! Nowhere near as bad as having large cysts!) I noticed my skin felt smoother, the cysts didn't hurt as bad, and they were slowly going away. Since I started which was about August of last year, my skin has cleared up tremendously from doing extractions and chemical peels with her. I pretty much have complete, clear skin that looks great! I have a strict skincare routine I have to follow but it is completely and totally worth it. I have done micro needling as well and I love the results it gave me. I go in for treatments now every 3 months or so just to maintain my skin. On another note, I research my make up products like crazy to make sure I don't cause any flare ups in between visits. I finally spoke to them and they spoke to these creepy crooks. The wife or whatever she is had the audacity to lie and say my symptoms were linked to an auto accident. That is a damn lie. I was there for FROWN LINES. I don't know which of those cokeheads in that urine infested facility came up with that response. The injector guy was so fixed on talking about TMJ and fluid build up and said his urine smelling wife has TMJ, I just say there and listened and reminded him of the reason why I was there. He went on and on about this and it had NOTHING to do with me. NOTHING. I am a nurse, why would I go to them for MIGRAINES?! Again, my appointment was 12/20, I reported symptoms on 12/23 (image attached) asking them about reversing the injections and symptoms, a doctor I worked with reminded me that I also called the office on 12/26. I was trying to give them grace since it was the holidays but still, no response. Plus they advertise a Juvaderm (images attached) that is $500 to $900 a unit but claim they give Botox which is $10 a unit. I finally got a response and in their response to my complaint via Groupon, they said I wasn't eligible for a refund due to a leaving a bad review, YES I left a bad review, A WHOLE MONTH LATER since these urine smelling people failed to be a good business and respond to a text about reversing the injections and symptoms! As a nurse with a masters in public health, save your time and get cosmetic frown line injections at an actual dermatology office because this seems to be how they keep their doors open. Also as previously mentioned, they continually created and cancelled appointments (images attached) because someone isn't too tech-savy and I immediately noticed all "booking and cancellation emails. I'd given the Groupon code while in the facility and then AFTER I left (and the appointment was completed), the wife asked me for the Groupon code again (email attached) and she went on to create another appointment and forged my signature on the consent (images attached). Each of my appointments she created has a different booking ID (image attached). As mentioned before, walking into that place and it being so creepy and urine smelling, I decided to record my visit (image attached) and did not stop recorded until I made it to my car, meaning I was there for less than 15 minutes which is ridiculous and unsafe being this does not allow for the patient to be monitored for reactions -- again, as mentioned in the previous post. Per CDC and NIH best practice is to monitor the patient for 15-30 minutes to watch for emergent reactions such as anaphylaxis. According to FDA, facility is supposed to monitor patients for breathing concerns, trouble with swallowing, etc. and on the actual BOTOX LABEL it states to REPORT SYMPTOMS (source included). Again, I don't know what in the hell they gave me or how much they gave me but that did not matter to them since they did not respond. The "medication" was already drawn up before I got there. Medical rules and best practices per Joint Commissions, CDC, and NIH is to draw up in the presence of the patient where the vial is visible to maintain 5 rights of medication administering including to never draw up too far in advance (sources included). I also did not see him put anything into a sharps container so they could also be reusing syringes. Bottom line, I was creeped out and started recording, my appointment was at 3p and the appointment was complete at 307p and I was on my way to my car (image attached) and after completing the appointment they needed the Groupon Codes again to make a new appointment and forge my signature on consents. I only came back to post this simple because these urine people lied. I also only went through the appointment for curiosity and I am surrounded by attorneys PLUS they speak of no refunds. They do not have any safety related guidelines anywhere in site. I simply wanted a response but the money-hungry, urine smelling creeps are only focused on money. I will be reporting them to authorities since they lied on me. I was already pissed about not getting a courtesy response to my text yet they sent constant emails about reviews.
