Jennifer's Husband L.

Ode to MoviePrep- When first I saw your name I questioned aloud How will preparing for movies Help clean me out The first glass was tolerable The second, ok The third was quite horrible As my stomach started to quake With laptop on lap I settled down on the john And chose to watch, coincidentally A Game of Thrones marathon Two hours later I'm clean as a whistle And (at least) five pounds lighter From shooting dookie missiles Now I have to admit Even if ever so slightly The only thing worse than MoviePrep: Pineapple GoLightly The staff and Dr Steephen were absolutely great- When I woke up, they were laughing. Not sure what I said (or did)- but I should probably be sorry-

I can't say enough good about Medical City Lewisville! My…read morebrother came in through ER. The staff left no stone unturned to check my brother out. They ended up admitting him and were so amazing, caring and supportive. I am forever grateful to these folks. As family members we have felt left out - but not here. They understood our worry and concern and were quick to explain what was going on. My brother was well taken care of. I know this is not a fluke because another family member was seen here and the care is consistent. From the doctors to the nurses to the techs, they are kind, willing to listen and hear our concerns - then address our concerns! Hopefully, we won't need them again, but if we do MC Lewisville is definitely the place we will go.

My daughter would have been killed by allergies alone if they had been deathly. . It took the 4 times to correctly write in the allergies. No IV all night even though they were supposed to according to hospital notes . My daughter was completely ignored once put in a room. It's the floor staff there that is not foo g their jobs. The quality of care is very low there. The nurse didn't even try to cover the iv wound while taking out iv and blood went everywhere. Very basic nursing skills missing there. They did not help my daughter for her reason going in and I wish I had stayed the night with her. Daughter is an adult in her 20's so I thought she would be ok. Everything was fine in an extreme slow pace despite not being busy. I will never take myself or a family member here again. I do not trust them for my health or safety after this experience. On top of that they say they got consent to record a conversation with AI notes which is a lie. We never knew about I

Since then, they've been steadily expanding their services to become a full blown primary care facility. What sets them apart from similar places is that they offer appointments 7 days a week with the option to do virtual visits for certain issues. The onsite pharmacy makes it extra convenient if you need a prescription filled after the appointment. So now that I have gotten the positives out of the way, it's time to talk about why I'm giving them 3 stars. First of all, there's no way to choose the provider you will be seeing. Basically, it's whoever is on duty. There have been times when I've seen genuinely caring, wonderful people, while other times I get treated like a number or worse. If I'm already feeling bad, the last thing I need is a surly, judgmental NP snapping at me! Also, in the past they would do blood draws, if necessary, during your appointment. But for some reason that was discontinued. These days they make you go to an outside facility, like Quest, for any blood work, which of course requires a separate appointment. The majority of my visits are for the sole purpose of getting a refill on a medication that I take on a regular basis. I'm always told before I leave that it's been sent to their pharmacy. About half the time though, I discover later on that the pharmacy never received it. I don't know if the providers fail to send prescriptions sometimes or there's a computer glitch or what. All I know is that I have to track down someone to resubmit it. Although things may be unpredictable and inconsistent here, it's not to the extent (yet) that I wouldn't come back.

My husband and I both had appts here today. Easy online appointmemts, easy check in! Very nice…read morenurse, and PA! Highly recommend!!!

I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.

I have seen grow up over the years...what a kick! I have NEVER had a problem with any aspect of this practice. I have always gotten an appt within a few days of my phone call! Dr. Coxsey is very accessible. If I call during the day, she always calls back....by 7am the next day...7am, oh well, sooner the better, I guess! She gets in the office very early, and takes care of 'business' before the office even opens! Other members of the medical staff, such as the Nurse Practitioner, have always been extremely helpful when I needed an appt...right now! I have never been treated rudely by any of the admin staff either. Maybe those who have expressed problems had been a part of the problem themselves? Kindness does go a long way. One last comment. The review by Zachary M., who is my son, was all B.S.! Not a word of it was true, except for the part about him being banned from the center. He was "drug shopping", and got caught at it! His review was a revenge post.

Their staff were rude and unfriendly but the doctor, Dr. Coxsley, is great. I moved out of the area but recently moved back to Coppell and naturally I called trying to see a familiar face. The MA at the time told me Dr. Coxsley was not seeing new patients, I called mack a few months later and come to find out that MA lied.... what really happened is that the practiced "dismissed" me as a patient. I called Monica the practice manager but she never returned my call. I called again a month later and again was told that the practice dismissed me and that Dr. Coxsley made that decision. I think it's crap you leave honest feedback about your staff 3 years ago and you are never allowed back there. Staff come and go all the time but Dr. Coxsley is still there. She is a great doctor. you would think that the practice would call me and ask me what happened what can they do to make it better, etc., but no they did not. It's a shame they can get away with doing this. I tried to email corporate but this is a big business.... never heard back from anyone. I can not recommend this practice as they are shady.

What a GREAT experience!…read more I turned into the place of business and for one second wondered where I needed to go and BAM, there were signs with arrows! The signs led me completely to the front door. Rode the elevator to the second floor and immediately saw the sign where I needed to go. I had my paperwork ready to go and handed it in and asked how long it would be as I had a conference call at 9 (my appointment was at 0740). They were like NO PROBLEM at all, we will have you in and out in 30 minutes. So then I had a seat in the waiting room which was very cozy and great magazines to keep me busy but before too long, they called me back. She gave me instructions in a very polite way and explained everything that was going to happen and left me to get undressed for my mammogram. They have a locker that you can put your purse and things into while you are having your test ran and a handy wrist band with the lock that you can wear on your wrist. Everything was ready to go and she had a nice touch and made the experience as comfortable as she could while making light conversation. Very pleasant. We were finished before I knew it and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes and made my conference call. I can't say I am looking forward to going to my next mammo next year but I know exactly where I will be going!! For sure!
