I received this from the Lone Star Armory owner; "guns plated action get tighter I explain to this individual would not listen so he still complaining some people can't please no matter what we do for them". I had my 41 Magnum Nickel Plated by the same company who does the Nickel Plating for Colt Arms! They advised me that Nickel plating does not affect the workmanship of the gun in any manner. The weapon will work even though it's been Nickel Plated. As the Colt Representative said "otherwise no one would get their Revolvers Nickel Plated as an after market option". The problem is not with the Nickel plating but with putting the revolver back together. He did two Nickel Platings for me; one revolver works well and functions after he corrected his mistake on the first one. The second Revolver one does not work. I've Purchased the replacement part (a trigger spring and Guide Rod) and will make a video of what he did wrong and how my brother, a certified Gunsmith, fixed it. The fix should take less than an hour. My recommendation is beware of this business. Imagine if you complained to a restaurant that your food was bad and they blamed you for their bad cooking mistake. Really! read more
