Great wine with a great view and comfortable seating. I enjoyed my visit here and I'm sure I'll be back. If I had to offer any criticism, it would be that the food service was quite slow - even for a simple cheese plate. The steak bites were tasty, but overcooked.

Meat and cheese starter. Very good.

There was a party of four of us. We made reservations. This is an amazing place. We sat in one of the swings for four. The view is breathtaking. The service was excellent. Our food was great. The wine was wonderful. As was the beers. Can't wait to return. My grumpy husband was even impressed.

Never disappoints! We have enjoyed their wine for a few years now and it just gets better and better. Add in an incredible view space for a tasting room and that right there is enough to stop for. But wait.... there's more!!! . They have incredible food as well. It is one of my fave stops on our way to our lodge in Oroville! fantastic staff makes the trip well worth the stop!

Stunning view! Courteous and attentive staff. Refreshing wine slushes and a great menu.

This was a super fun stop on our way back to Seattle from an adventure weekend over the mountains. The views were incredible, the food was delicious, and the staff was on it. We sat outside on a gorgeous 80 degree day. They brought an extra umbrella to keep us nice and cool. Our kids were welcome and enjoyed the outdoor meal. The swinging tables were a hot commodity and, unfortunately, all reserved during the duration of our meal- best to call ahead for those. The domes and fire pits would be really neat in the fall and winter! We ordered wine slushies, pizza flatbread, cheese dip, and a wedge salad to split. Everything was delicious and served hot (except for the slushies ). Taking away one star because we ordered the salad to split and they ended up charging for two 1/2 salads instead of one whole one, which was more expensive- didn't see any communication about that on the menu and they didn't clarify with us when we ordered. It was expensive, but a nice treat on a beautiful day. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

The cabin was beautiful, homey with a gorgeous view. It was very cold the first few hours but warmed up fast. Definitely will stay again. We don't drink so we didn't go to the wine tasting. And there was only one vegan option on their menu, brusselsprouts, which sounded wonderful. But I wanted more. We ate in town. Great experience.

What's not to love? We're wine members because the wine is delicious, and the staff is super friendly, etc., etc., etc.,... A great place to relax and enjoy, whether dining inside, or outside in a table swing, around a fire pit, or reclining at a table. The views are absolutely gorgeous, and while the menu is limited, it's a great place to escape! Plan on staying a couple of hours to soak it all in!

Lovely setting with panoramic view of Columbia River, 45 minutes from Chelan. Tasting samples are $3 each. Tasting 2018 and 2019 wines now. Less than friendly welcome; it felt like a shift change at 4:00 on Saturday. Margarita PIZZA ($13.95) was uninspiring and by the third piece was cold and tasted like cardboard. The dough was yeasty and tough. I left 3+ pieces behind, which was a shame because I was really hungry and looked forward to a satisfying pizza. Chicken sandwich ($16.95) came with homecut fries and two dipping sauces- report was it was tasty. Service was adequate. C19 measures in place by staff and guests.

Food: Service was on point. We ordered the barrata which was a hemisphere of what looked to be mozzarella di buffula in pesto, fresh tomatoes. Yum. The Brussels sprouts with aioli dipping sauce was damn good, and the margarita and Hawaiian pizza were good as well. Wine: I recommend the reds. They are all good. Cottage: the cottage is nicer in real life compared to the photos. There's details the photo doesn't pick up. Very clean. Expensive, but worth the price. TIP: bring food for breakfast, and water! Lone Point doesn't have an attendant overnight or in the morning. Hence, you either need to venture out, or make food at the cottage. Also, there is no wine in the cottage. I learned that the hard way when my wife and I, got into the cottage at 10:30p, and everything was shut down. I assumed they would have that waiting for us. Call ahead and I'm sure they will send it to your room ahead of time.

Beautiful location with great views. Tastings are rather expensive, but I picked their side by side red and loved it. Their meat and cheese tray was delicious! The coconut prawns were good but note there was only 4 prawns. The hummus tray, salmon cakes and steak bites were all good. We had so much fun, we brought more friends the next day. There were several types of seating options: tables, swinging tables and the geo dome. Would love to come back at night and sit in the domes. Claire was a friendly server whom I would highly recommend.

Weather enjoying a Carne Asada burrito at one of the fast food stands that ends in -erto's, enjoying a meal at long, gone places like Acapulco, or bellying up to some swanky new wave fusion place with rainbow colored tortilla chips and "salsa flights," I've tried them all. So when I say that El Torito bar and Grill is a good Mexican food restaurant, that should mean something. Moreover, is someone who has visited 49 of the 50 states by car, with a family of five in tow, we've definitely stopped at our fair share of Mexican food restaurants... Some of them were amazing, and some of them were no Bueno. But this place is an honest to goodness, authentic Mexican food restaurant. Your first clue: the rice and beans. I know, they come with everything... But if you don't know how to make real rice and beans, the rest of it really doesn't matter. This place knows what's up. The burritos, Carne Asada, fajitas, combination plates with things like enchiladas and chile rellenos-- everything here is delicious. Modestly priced, but for the only game in town place, it's a pretty good deal at 20 or 30 bucks a head. Service has always been very good, and the shot of tequila when they bring the bill out is always a nice touch, especially as you're about to include the propina. :) The vibe inside is laid-back, with casual visitors, families, and groups like us... I've had their wines many times at home, but hadn't been in for a visit and taste in many many years until this past Memorial Day weekend. Sadly, the winery experience to me was a little underwhelming. The grounds felt a little scattered, and the team working seemed a little cold to my in-laws (despite them being long time members and locals). The Sauvignon Blanc bottle we shared had the very distinct "cat pee" aroma that I couldn't get out of my nose. I had to choke it down. The views were beautiful and I know their other wines have been good, I'm just not sure if this is some place I'd come back to given all the many other fantastic options in the area.

Despite Yelp saying…read morethat this location is temporarily closed, we decided to still walk by and see if it was open and it indeed was. What a win for us, too, because the food was fantastic and exactly what we needed. We visited Jupiter for dinner on our first night in town and after a day of sunshine and hiking, we were hungry. At Jupiter, the menu isn't large, but they have a good range of items to choose from, in addition to local beers and wines. We were pleased that they had a large outdoor patio area where it's dog friendly, which is where we sat with our dog. You order and pay first inside at the counter, snag a number and a staff member delivers your food to the table. My partner and I both ordered different protein bowls and a salad and had a hard kombucha. My protein bowl was delicious with the steelhead as my protein of choice with rice, beans, jalapenos, greens, pickled red onions, avocado and a cilantro dressing. It was very filling, nourishing and delicious! The salad was also very good, with fresh greens in a light dressing. Everything was healthy and wholesome and left us satisfied. I highly recommend visiting Jupiter if you're in the Winthrop area for a meal. They have fresh, whole foods that are packed with protein and everything you need after a day of hiking. Plus, the patio for dogs cannot be beat as we learned that not everywhere in Winthrop has patio seating. Something to be mindful of if you're traveling with your best friend. I would definitely eat here again when back in the area.

Definitely recommend and will be sure to come again should we be back in Winthrop.
