    a menu for a restaurant
    Ashley D.

Yesterday Tuesday June 16th the special on Tuesdays are $2 larger slushies different flavors of their very delicious slushies which it was my first time there yesterday, and it's a small local place next to restaurant Papa Bears Chicken. The slushies flavors for Tuesday was blue raspberry\pineapple & cherry\limeade. I bought three of raspberry & pineapple slushies along with a small jug of pineapple mango juice. All the juices, and slushies are made with pure sure cane unless you want it made with Splenda. It's so delicious, comforting, brings out the happiness, and it's a popular shop in Indianapolis, and I'll definitely be back for more. Also, it's not located far East very close in Broad Ripple area between College & Keystone. I forgotten to mention it's only two at a time allowed in due to social distancing.

Tropical, mango, apple, and peach lemonade . The peach lemonade is my favorite!

Who doesn't love lemonade? This black owned store has multiple flavored lemonades from strawberry to peach. It is located in a small building connected to papa bears. There is a small parking lot on one left side of the building. When you go inside they have some small menu's with every lemonade flavored listed. You can order a personal jug, gallon, or a slushy. I purchased four lemonades for my family and I. I got an apple, peach, mango, and tropical punch. I normally always get the peach lemonade and the mystery mix, but decided to try some new flavors. The next time I am on that side of town I will try one of the slushies. I have heard great things about them!

Not only is his Flameade hands down the best lemonade I've ever had, but he is also a really nice guy.

As I'm writing this I wonder what the 'C' in Mister C stands for, and will probably toss and turn…read moretonight until I call up to the store to find out...or I may pour two, or three, or four, glasses of their delicious wine until I'm thinking about how much I love having drinks in the summer. Yes! Mister C, you make my summer endless. Which is why "C" will stand for Celebration or Chill of Colorful like the eclectic mix of patrons casually strolling in and out. You're a cool place Mr C. I got a fifth of vodka called Amsterdam, a handle of gin, a bottle of X-Rated, a few pink Kinky Shots, and some whiskey that I didn't know the name of. This price was amazing!! If you know me, you know I've been in search of the lowest priced liquor store my liver can stand. That search seems to have led me to unequivocal certainty that Mister C is for me. What is a party without libations and banter?! A 9am conference call. That's what it is! I choose to believe fate brought me to this place one Saturday evening. Bootleg movies being sold in the parking lot, shady neighborhood feel, and sassy cashiers that gladly accept tips. Mister C is serving up realness for a comparable price. It's a needed break away from the liquor stores in my area. Not that rolling out the grand red carpet to pick out a wine in a specially temperature controlled room doesn't make me fancy dance - sometimes, I just want some drank. Go here if you want the old stand bys, with some east keystone street flair!

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

What a fun spot for a sandwich or cheese or sundry items!…read more It is on the corner of two busy streets but does have two spots in front for parking. You can also park in the gravel lot across the road. It was raining pretty heavily so we got wet but wasn't a far dash. The counter is like any deli with the items displayed in the cold case. You can browse the various freezers or shelves for items like picked veggies, canned fish or spreads. It was fun to see that you could buy everything needed for a picnic or impromptu lunch! We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we. They also do tasting events and other things so we might check out one of their offerings. A fun local spot!
