I would highly recommend this business and my and my husbands experience with Brad was phenomenal!!…read more Brad was totally transparent and very knowledgeable and could share +++ information about the vehicle we purchased. I live 5 hours away and offered a deposit to hold the vehicle but he declined and stated he would hold the vehicle without a deposit for 24hrs and because we had quite a distance to travel he even stated he would hold the vehicle until the end of the day. We are so pleased with the vehicle- the vehicle came with inspections and all repairs completed as a consequence of this. On my drive out of Edmonton I noted that I even had a nearly full tank of gas which was so appreciated as I tried to maneuver my way out of the +++ detoured due to +++ construction throughout the city. In fact, we asked Brad if he locates another vehicle to our liking to consider it sold!

Conclusion they gave me: 1.Get an oil change and use a different filter. (Just had a fresh oil change before coming here with a genuine hengst filter) 2. Bad drive shaft ( this was incorrect as i had another shop double check to confirm, it was a exhaust shield that was bent out of place) 3. leaking radiator (this was also incorrect after getting another shop to double check it, it was incorrectly bled system from a coolant line change) Dan then told me it was going to take more than $10,000 to fix the car to make it drivable. After the whole thing I wrote a negative review on google maps as well as asked around online to see if the cost of diagnosis was normal. Dan then personally called and texted me threatening legal action against for defamation. In good conscience, I can't ever recommend anyone to this "BMW specialist" shop after this experience.

Took a newly purchased (used car) in for an inspection and to fix a couple known issues…read more They did not preform an inspection at all, but still charged for it. When emailed asking why there was no inspection report given with the receipt they sent an incomplete, still in progress while my car is at home and verifiably false report. Did not check the CV at all that area is left blank, lied about the cabin air filter being good and about the brake pad life, did not mention anything about a gouge in one tire sidewall or the AC not working. I am not a mechanic so who knows what else. Driver side wheel well trim was busted and they attempted to blame the towing company, zero chance it was them, zero accountability. They also charged 5% 'shop supplies' which amounted to almost 80$, but they wiped grease on the trim of my car so im not sure what 'supplies' were consumed changing my struts(parts were seperate), certainly not shop towels at a minimum. When asked for a list of 'supplies' they needed, they did not provide it and instead claim all shops charge this. Sinclair auto did not charge it just a couple years ago. 5% hidden fee essentially. Charged nearly 10$ for 2 new lug nuts, not a single one was brand new upon receiving my car. I dont mind a used nut but if youre charging near 5$(per!) it better be brand new as claimed. And to top it all off not even one week later the check engine has come on, I wanted peace of mind with an inspection and they lied about checking the vehicle, infact not a single issue was found besides the ones I told them were already known. The only good thing to be said was the work was prompt, completed the day after drop off. That will not be enough to make me return. Used to be a great shop, never had a problem for many years and even recommended Sinclair auto to a lot of friends and family, the new owner is not living up to the name. I will not be returning, will be telling everyone I can about my experience and recommending against this shop.
