They have fixed a number of problems for me and for my family. Like with most tailors, it is best to go there in person to see if they can fix the garment. (Not sure why someone would call a tailor to have them guess.) I try not to demand rush service. But, the times that I have needed something done quickly, they have always helped me out. I think that they are dependable and skilled. They do a nice job on the dry cleaning too.

I came here this time to get my suit jacket taken in and the zipper fixed on a dress. My sister gets her suit jackets taken in here all the time, and it had always cost her around $10-$15, so I expected that. When I came in, she pinned the jacket and then wrote on the receipt that it would cost $35. That seems a bit much for just some taking in of a blazer and could go towards the cost of buying a brand new blazer. When I asked her why it was that much, she didn't really have an answer. So I decided to just have the dress done. It was a brand new dress that had an iffy zipper. I brought it in with the price tag still on it, in the event that it's not fixable, I would return it. She stated it would be an easy fix with no need for a new zipper. I just picked it up, and nothing seems changed; in fact, it seems worse. The hole that was in the zipper is still there and she cut the price tag off (even though it wasn't in the way of the zipper). When I informed her that I'm still having the same trouble with the zipper, she and her co-worker didn't even move from their seats to see what the issue might be, or what could be done to fix it. She just said "if it's still not fixed it needs a new zipper." Even though that's not what she said originally, and has already cut the price tag off so I can't return it. I do believe they tailor well but I do not appreciate their business practices and will not be returning.

I had brought my pants in and I even brought a sample size pants which I saw her measure and when she returned them to me as you can see the cream color pants the hemming had uneven legs and wasn't even the length of the sample. When I took it back in she measure it again and still made the mistake a second time. This is the longest reviews I've made it and I would feel injustice if I let anyone else consider this place without knowing what I've been through. To add to the catastrophic experience, the tailor here wasn't even amiable, no hello good day nothing. Don't do it!

I was tired of ill fitting clothes made for the masses that made me feel frumpy, stuffed and unattractive. ;) I started with a pair of pants that fit the thighs, but was big in the waist. This one alteration on a simple pair of pants CHANGED MY LIFE!! Proper fitting clothes REALLY DO make you feel like a million bucks! Greg's work was far more professional that I had expected given my history with 'dry cleaner tailors' I used in the past. He had a quick turn around, about a week. I was so excited with the result, the next visit, I dropped off *5 pairs* of pants to have similar work done and again, just flawless. The work was so clean, it was like he hadn't done anything. Greg was a keeper! I've since brought other random items to him and was surprised when he gave his honest opinion on whether or not something was 'worth it' to alter. Being able to say no to a customer goes a LONG way in my book. It proves he is not just trying to make money by altering any piece of polyester that comes through that door. He truly believes in the craftsmanship of his work and that is the sign of a professional and a gentleman. The last item I brought to him recently was a polka dot dress I just HAD TO HAVE, but it fit wrong once I went up to a size that fit my trouble spots. In the dressing room, I said to myself, SELF: I bet Greg can make MAGIC with this dress by just altering a few spots. A week and a half later and an astonishingly affordable bill for the work...MAGIC. I got so many compliments on the dress that day, it just solidified how having a great tailor in your back pocket can change everything. Ladies, we aren't all runway models that all the brands mass manufacture clothing for, but with a professional like Greg in your arsenal to nip and tuck your favorite pieces here and there, you sure can feel like one!
