i've driven by this place many a time but never thought i'd have to actually use their services…read moreuntil this afternoon when, upon putting yet another $1.50 worth of quarters into my apartment building's one dryer (for, oh, 25+ people), i realized my clothes were still sopping wet. *damn* so i hurriedly put the clothes in a basket and went over to laundry day. in a frenzied state, i asked some random woman, who happened to be an employee there (lucky me) how much it costs to dry. i think she could sense my frenzied state (it was a bad day for other reasons as well) and told me to just put them in (they have those HUGE MEGA dryers) and she'd turn it on for me. 25 cents per 10 min which came out to the same it would have cost me at the apartment building, but no way would the 75 cents i gave her for a half hour have compared to what 75 cents would have done in the dryer at the apartment. we're talking FAST & HOT & QUICK- just how i like it. luckily, i brought a magazine to tide me over. the place was very clean, i must say. they had adequate seating and a few tvs here and there. i later learned, and from other reviews, that you typically buy a card to do washes and dry; guess i was just lucky that this woman gave me a break. the only complaint i had was that it was bitterly cold in there- even the woman who was so nice to me who worked there was bundled up in a jacket when i left. not sure how much they charge to wash, but those MEGA dryers are worth every sweet penny!

The first 15 minutes consisted of her complaining how much work and money it would be for my alteration. I told her I was okay with the money as I'm the maid of honor- not much of an option- and yet she continued to complain, adding heavy sighs and rolling her eyes. Eventually, we just asked "Do you want the work or not? We can go somewhere else because you seem to find this miserable." And the women was just rude, unprofessional and stormed away. The washers are brand new, environmentally friendly, fairly quick, and seemed to make my white clothing and towels even whiter, if that's possible. I put my lighter items in one small washer, the dark items in another, then used a medium-sized dryer to dry them all. I like how you can buy as much drying time as you need with the medium-sized dryers instead of wasting quarters. There is a change machine on the premises that will change up to $20 bills into quarters and an adequate amount of seating and folding tables. Perfect location as it's right near the Market Basket down the street so I can hit the supermarket after cleaning my clothes. Will definitely be back!
