This place sucks by the time I just walked in. The little kid has no professionalism when it comes to talking to customers. Why take any information just to tell me that your machine is down? He told me to go to another Antons location located on Broadway Street. I asked him specifically if it was open. He said yes, it's open they close at 7 pm because his location closed at 7 pm. When I showed up at the other location, it was closed. I looked on the website, and it said 6 pm. If this place is a family-owned business. I recommend these parents teach your damn kids some professionalism/manners when dealing with customers. The hiring department needs to have some proper training. read more

Found this place the other day as my other Dry Cleaning spot closed. I was amazed at the job they did and the speed. I brought a suit jacket in to get dry cleaned after this year's wedding season. It was returned to me within 24 hours looking brand new. It also only cost around $15 which is super reasonable for a suit jacket. I think of Anton's as a little pricey. They offer fast turn around and delivery. Both of which I do not need and do not need to pay for. Why I go is because they offer environmentally neutral dry cleaning that doesn't use the chemicals that dry cleaners are typically maligned for. So, I pay the extra 50 cents a shirt. pass read more

I went to the Chelmsford location this morning to drop off one dry cleaning item for same-day service. I was told that I was too late for this service. Your web site and signs at the store itself confirm that the guaranteed time for same-day service is 10:00. I did not arrive at 10:15, or even 9:59. It was 9:35! Why bother having a guaranteed time if it will not be honored? I would prefer that your policy simply state, "take your chances on same-day service; first come, first-served." Sounds rude but at least it is honest. I was told that things were slow that day so they were done with same day dry cleaning. Honestly? Not that they were too busy to accommodate me, but that it was too slow. I've tried to sort this out. Perhaps they shut down machinery or send workers home? But why would you do this before the guaranteed drop off time has even passed? What a terrible approach to your customers. Quite honestly, I use Anton's less and less because of its outrageous prices. But I figured I was paying a premium for service. I went this location this morning and arrived at 10:10am for same day service. I know I was 10 minutes late but thought they might make an exception for a regular customer--they did not and in fact were so rude about it I told them they just lost my business. I spend around $100 a month there. The young guy behind the counter was rude and condescending. DON'T GO HERE. I will take my $1200/year business to another place from now on. Hey Anton's, you're a service business but not willing to provide that service. You should shut down until new management understands customers first philosophy. read more

We made a mistake thinking Anton's lost an expensive garment. They handled the situation with grace and professionalism, crediting us for the lost amount. We just found the garment in our home! Anton's never did anything wrong, yet still stood behind their service. We have settled with them. Kudos to the professional staff in Chelmsford for handling our situation so well. I took them two brand new shirts. Both came back with wrinkles creased into them that I couldn't get out with a hot moist ironing. In addition, one shirt had a small stain on it. This was a brand new shirt that came back dirtier than when I left it. read more

I had a problem with a dress I had dry cleaned. Anton's offered to clean it again, but the dress was new and I was concerned that it would ruin the fabric. I asked them to reimburse me for the cost of the dress. The manager was very cooperative and responsive and they send me a check without further complaint. My husband dropped my coat off to have the zipper repaired and to have it cleaned in late November to early December at the 288 Chelmsford St in Chelmsford location. The ticket said that it would be ready 12/16. I went 12/18 and was advised that it wasn't ready and that I could pick it up Saturday 12/19/2015. I went in around 10:30 on 12/19 and was told that it wasn't ready again, it had gotten chilly so I asked for the coat back, even if it doesn't zip it's still better than nothing. A young lady came out and told me again that it wasn't ready, and again I said that I'd like it back and that I'd bring it elsewhere when it warmed up again, she went back and told a man this. He brought my coat out front with the zipper being held in by 3 common pins with stuffing everywhere and told me the girl LAST NIGHT couldn't do this and that he would be dropping it with another girl. The male at the counter had said that it would be ready after 4pm that afternoon (12/19) however the male who brought the coat up front said that he was dropping it with another girl MONDAY, that would have been 12/21. Today is 12/28 and my husband has just left there and been told we can pickup this coat after 4pm this Saturday (01/02/2016). I emailed their corporate office on 12/19 and have yet to hear from them either. read more
