I work 50+ hours a week with 3 kids and having her help these last few weeks has been beneficial to my life tremendously. She picks up the Laundry, washes and folds it, then brings it back to me. Before jumping into this place, keep a few things in mind; (1) it would be in your best interest to…read morebring your own detergent or ask the person at the service counter, as the machines are super old and probably won't work 100% of the time; (2) the dryers are 25 cents per 7 minutes, so plan accordingly. I noticed more than one person complaining about the dryers, so put your clothes in a bit longer than you normally would. Generally, the place fits the name. Pretty dingy, not the worst looking place in the Lowell area. I might go here again, but might consider going elsewhere if I were not on foot. Clothes are clean, smell fine, but took far too long to dry.

They won't take bribes or premiums for same day service because they make honest promises to everyone and they keep them. I respect that, even if it means I have to wake up ridiculously early or wait a day for their perfect ninja-like laundry folding skills- it's well worth it.

The first couple of times I used the closest laundry in Central street and wasn't satisfied with the results at all. But then I found the ACRE Laundromat. These guys are AMAZING. I do wash&fold, and not only do they manage to get the toughest stains out after one wash (light beige cotton shorts after a day of hiking in the rain anyone?), they also do an incredible job of folding everything exactly the way clothes should be folded. So now for a little over $15 I get 3 bags of perfectly folded, fresh smelling laundry, all separated by gender (no more searching for my pink socks among my boyfriend's boxers). I hope these wonderful people stay in business forever, and I'm certainly never taking my laundry any place else.

I have been coming here for months, since my apartment building laundry doesn't work half the time…read moreand is incredibly slow. The machines here work and are fast, and get my clothing clean. More than that, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Case in point, today, which motivated me to write this. The staff turned what could have been a disaster into a pleasant experience! I had loaded a LOT of clothing in a 75 lbs. machine, and the machine ate two tokens ($2). Asked for help, and she couldn't get the tokens to work, and couldn't get the machine to cooperate with app pay. The other large washer didn't take app payments, and they don't carry money, so I could have been out $2 But no! The wonderful woman instead paid $2 for my drying! This whole time she was friendly and apologetic, sorry for how long it was taking, asking if I needed to go and offering to do my clothing for me if I had to go. I didn't have anywhere I needed to be so I staid, but she was just so nice. This place is great. If you don't have in-unit laundry, come here.

There's only a handful of folding tables but they're spacious. On warmer days they prop open the door that often times has a nice breeze and airs out the place but what I dislike about having the door open is when customers as well as the employees smoke right by the door while people are folding their clean laundry.
