They have an ATM at the back of the store, but this is often out of service, but there is an outdoor ATM just up the road a little (a minute's walk or less). Drinking can be a vile pastime but when you buy your alcohol in this place it doesn't seem so wicked. First off, the inside of the shop is clean and the floors are polished. Secondly, this business is more than just booze and cigarettes. You can almost call it a newsagents. It has a great selection of newspapers and magazines and sells all the daily staples like milk, bread, butter and juice. Every time I go to the Grapevine there are always some good sales and the shop keeper is available to help. He never follows you around or eyes you suspiciously like in some other places.

I went in one evening and it seemed like they were in the middle of restocking because a lot of the shelves were half-full and stuff was kind of laying around. But then I went back another time, and the store looked exactly the same! The selection is definitely lacking and it always looks like they're running out of merchandise. This store is best used when you run out of something obvious - like milk or jam or something and need to run out and grab it quickly. I don't think it is a guarantee that they will have it though!

A major plus for Tesco is they take credit Card and cash. They take US Credit Cards, which a lot of other places only take the cards with the chips. Yes, we in the US are a little behind the times with the fiances Not only they take cards, they are stocked with a lot of quick and easy foods. Fruit and Bottled water.. Which I have to say you can actually drink water right out of the tap in Ireland, Which is awesome , because God knows you cannot in most of the States. They do charge for shopping bags as do most all shops in the world now days. However, for as much as I travel I always have at least one with me at all times. This particular Centra is located near downtown Dublin's shopping district. We popped in here for some drinks and a quick bite. We were able to get a access code for internet while we were here - which allowed us to contact our native friends (as we didn't have cell service) and narrow down a time and location to meetup. We are very fortunate to have popped in here- as we didn't want to pop into a bar that early in the morning just for a wifi code. We even stopped back a couple days later for some snacks for the airport on our way out. This location has so much natural light, is very clean and organized and had very friendly staff!
