I…read morehad gone in with the idea of ordering a latte but I saw their adds for Autumn themed hot chocolates and the raspberry and honey one grabbed my eye. I really enjoyed it! So it's a hot chocolate with a "shot" of honey served in a large white mug with cold cream on top and dried raspberry's sprinkled on top with a few flakes of chocolate. It really looks the part. So its an odd experience taking the first sip as your lips are dipped in the very cold whipped cream and the dried raspberry's sit under your noise so it is all you can smell and when you drink you get the heat and taste of the honey sweetened hot chocolate. So it's a real miss match of temperatures and tastes which is odd at first but it works. After drinking about a quarter I decided to mix all the cream and berry's into drink which again was nice as the raspberry's swell up in the chocolate and float to the top. Anyway it may not be everyone's cup of tea or cup of hot chocolate as the case might be but I liked it and would recommend you at least try it once. Yummy!!

You could pay nearly a fiver for a BLT, which is robbery in my opinion. That said, this store is really, really handy because it's open constantly. When it's all hours of the morning and you are starving but don't want chippy food, it's a great place to pop into to stock up. But I wouldn't tend to frequent it much otherwise because it's too dear and there is a Tesco nearby that is a whole lot cheaper. The take away coffee here isn't nice either. The staff are great though - helpful and friendly, even when dealing with intoxicated punters!

Thus during the lunch hour there could be a queue of about 10 people waiting to grab a fizzy drink and some crisps. The queue moves pretty quickly though so you want lose much time during your lunch hour! Chapter & Verse also has a very well hidden cafe. Ok it's down a flight of stairs not far from the tills, but admittedly I'd seen lots of secondary school students around the stairs so I just figured it wasn't a place I'd want to be! Anyways one day during lunch break we were looking for somewhere new to try out and one of the girls suggested the cafe here. It's a smallish little place, but they do some nice sandwiches. Just be warned it might be difficult to snag a seat during the rush hour, but if it's sunny out Stephen's Green is within spitting distance so it's perfect for a picnic!

We grabbed some sandwiches - Chicken & Egg Cub, Chicken & Pepper Sandwich. Also, got some chips - Guiness and Flame Grilled Steak. The chips were something I never tried before. It wasn't bad at all. Beer and meat chips, who knew? I have no idea how much we spent here since the hubs took care of everything and I forgot to get a pic of the receipt. This location is nestled on the corner of a busy, crowded street. No self-checkout. You have to pay at the register. The customer service was a bit lackluster.
