Best Mexican food in Portland. Food is so tasty and fast, the people are so nice! Great little spot with a covered deck outdoor seating area. I just wish I had found this sooner!

I had the Poc Chuc and it was full of flavor and the soft corn tortillas are wonderful! I want a whole stack of them to snack on. 2 others in my party and all were happy with their dishes. We ate on site at the picnic tables. Staff was nice and helpful. Outdoor covered seating area was nice as well. It was clean and well maintained.

although the most popular thing here is the panucho, which is a corn tortilla stuffed with black beans with protein / veg, i thought the spinach sope was the best thing here. the carne asada (steak) was rly juicy and had a great flavor. for the panuchos, i got the pork and chicken ones but the pork one was much more juicy. chicken was a bit dry but still tasted pretty good.. i like the pickled onions on them, it added a nice kick. getting three items was super filling, it was pretty much my only meal of the day. you could probably just get one thing here and be satisfied tbh. this place is a gem, authentic tasting. would surely recommend this to my friends!

    4 for 4 on taste.

The real deal. Do know they specialize in Yucatán region specialities, so you might see offerings not usually found at a traditional Mexican venue. The panuchos and salbutes were excellent and ample. Maybe because they are purists, but you are limited to chicken or Cochinita Pibil, while other places allow to top with carnitas, asada, etc. A menu surprise: fried Spinach Sopes, yum. The tacos were par for the course. The breakfast burrito is decent, but not in the upper echelon of Portland choices. Pico de gallo doesn't generally work. And crispy potatoes is what takes one to the next level, here they're boiled-like. Lastly, I didn't care for the crowd popular vegetarian burrito. What's missing from the menu are Banana leaf tamales that most Yucatán places offer. Friendly and relatively fast service. I think the large parking lot is all for the cart, but getting out onto Prescott heading West can be a little cumbersome.

This food truck is on the corner of 42nd and Prescott is easy to pass by, but worth stopping for if you're hungry and heading through Cully. This Latinx-owned biz serves Mexican and Yucatecan food. I got an ~$8 veg quesadilla which had cheese, bell peppers, and onions inside. Lettuce, tomato, and sour cream on the side. (No guac.) Also got a ~$9 veggie burrito which was a good size. Only thing I would do differently next time is ask for salsas! I could've used more spice in the burrito in particular. I think I might have been offered some as I was departing but I misheard / thought they were asking if I needed silverware. There are some picnic tables under a tent to eat here, but the busy streets aren't the most atmospheric. I suggest taking it to go.

Okay. So I went vegan... and of course kept going to LML because the food and people are the best. I was ordering custom vegan burritos on the regular, then I come to find out they added a vegan burrito to the menu *and named it after me* I'm so honored! So next time you're there, try the Vegan Karl Burrito and enjoy the generous helpings of goodies that await inside. They've got other vegan options, too, btw. They've also massively upgraded their seating area since my last review - now it's covered and has more tables and nice lighting.

    Carnitas meat burrito - yummy!

Amazing burrito. I went here on a Monday afternoon and it was perfect. The service was fast, the food was delicious and they let me have one of every hot sauce. Fun tented room with picnic benches to sit at.

Pretty good chicken burrito but could be more competitively priced--this place has very little overhead as a husband and wife team and are charging 12 bucks for a burrito--La Bonita had a larger one for the same quality at an actual restaurant for $9

I tipped generously assuming the food was going to be excellent. We ordered 2 Langua tacos, asada burrito, carnitas burrito and a carnitas quesadilla. We were told that it would be about 15 minutes. The space is right on 26, so fairly noisy. There were a few tables an available. The food was ready on time and we went home. I cut the carnitas burrito in half for my daughter and found 2 large bones. My other daughter, who ordered the carnitas quesadilla, found a bone as well. The carnitas itself had good flavor but an abundance of grease was an issue. The asada was pretty good and balanced with the beans and rice. The Langua had some spice to it and was flavorful and tender. The tomatillo and spicy sauce were great. The burritos were mislabeled on there boxes (asada was carnitas and vise versa). Pretty disappointed and hope this occurrence is not the norm.

I was excited to go here as I had been meaning to visit for at least 6 months. I wasn't disappointed. This taqueria is the real deal, and very authentic. I also appreciate it's LGBTQ owned, and like to be inclusive in how I spend money. The tacos are amazing I had two there, and took two home. They were all delicious and not one disappointed. Their taco menu is very extensive, and it's nice that they have a lot of vegetarian options as well. One of my favorites was the one with mole ,and poblanos, also the chicken one, also the carnitas. Flavors so rich and satisfying. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Extremely quick service which I love. Even though I only speak a little bit of Spanish. I tried, and they were very welcoming. They are fluent in Spanish. I knew it was an authentic taqueria when I heard a native spanish speaker speak Spanish at the counter. I don't want to leave out their drinks as they have quite a selection both alcoholic, and non alcoholic. I tried the horchata, which was amazing. I have been craving Pozole for a long time, and they had it as a special chicken with green sauce, and pork and a red sauce. Both simply amazing and a great deal. This restaurant is very reasonable, and you get quite a lot for the money. Last but not least I can't forget the ambiance which felt very authentic, and reminded me of being in a Taqueria in Mexico or Southern California. the place is decorated very thoughtful with a lot of candles, and many shrines. They also have a love of Mariah Carey and saw many photos of here in the restaurant. They have both outdoor seating and indoor seating. A lot of plants outside which all seem very happy and well cared for. I love this place, and will be going back for sure. The place is very casual which I appreciate. We almost didn't, because we have been let down so many times trying to get good Mexican food. Maybe that is the way to try out something new, with very low expectations. In this case, it really worked. We got chicken burritos. I confirm also that it is chicken breast, and it is grilled. Wow, it's crazy good chicken, so much flavor. This is as good or better than El Jefe. The burrito was large and I finished it all. I think they forgot to add in some of the things to have everything included but even with that it was still the best burrito we have had in PDX. I think it was missing cilantro, pickled onions, sour cream and maybe cheese and still it has so much flavor. Can you imagine how good it could be. We will be back. They use whole peruvian beans, that's a nice touch. Good salsa too. No Jamaica. It would be great to list the Beaverton loc on the website and list phone numbers.
