Actually, it isn't painful, it is annoying and inconvenient. Dr. Belanger is ABSOLUTELY outstanding! He is a fantastic communicator, he is thoughtful, caring, informative, and doesn't make you feel you are being rushed nor is he a, "yep, yep, okay gotta go, busy, busy" type. His demeanor (aka bedside manner) is one of the best I have encountered and I have been a nurse over 25 years. I had a serious sinus infection which led to Dr. Belanger recommending this surgery because it was one of the worse cases he had ever seen. He has taken my after-hours call twice with IMMEDIATE call back and never, ever did he sound put off that I was bothering him. He was calming, patient, and reassuring. I am very happy with him as my doctor, I trust him implicitly, and he is dynamic! On a scale of 1 to 10 he is an 11 professionally. We have saw Dr. Palmer and the PA Stephan. We really like both of these doctors. I feel very comfortable at this office with my 9 year old who has been going here since she was 6.

My daughter suffers from anxiety due to the loss of her bio father when she was 5, has been diagnosed and treated for it. She's 12 years old and uses an SSRI daily to manage it. The PA refused my request for a sedative saying "we don't like to do that". The morning of the surgery at the hospital, my daughter had a panic attack and was unable to undergo the surgery. As I was escorting our daughter out of the OR, my husband had the opportunity to speak to the surgeon who admitted they could have given meds prior to surgery to prevent the attack. Later, I phoned the ENT office to lodge a complaint. While the office manager was kind in her handling of my complaint, she danced around the issue and the staff never owned their error. Our experience was extremely upsetting and could have been avoided. Never received a follow-up call or apology from Dr. Seth Palmer. Extremely disappointed and will not return.
