I knew that surgery and physical therapy was imminent and I didn't want to drive hours on the road for several weeks! I was so glad I went to Shoreline Orthopaedics! Dr. Cheek was so informative and took the time to tell me what I did to my shoulder and what it would take to get it back to mobility with no pain. It has been 4 months and I have no pain! The office staff were always friendly and the medical staff were 99% on time! I won't think twice about going to Shoreline Orthopaedics if I have to have surgery in the future. LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!! Again!!!!!! Dr. Joe saves the day again!…read moreI could write a book on All the attributes I should give Dr. Joe and Crystal but the most recent one was a lifesaver! Two days ago my knee began to swell and hurt with intense burning and pain. I went to Zeeland hospital where they took an x-ray and said it's not broken. (I already knew it was not broken!) they wrapped it up and sent me home with a note it was a sprain. Next morning my knee was all bright red. Frustrated with the hospitals results I called Crystal, at Shugula's office! I had explained to her the situation she was able to squeeze me in to be seen!!!!! Johnny on the spot! Dr. Joe Had me take off the ace wrap. He Examined my knee structure made a funny face and said" I think you have an infection in your knee!" He suggested to go To Holland Hospital. I went to Holland Hospital Immediately after I was seen by Dr. Joe. Really long story made shorter..... HE SAVED MY LIFE! I had bursitis and cellulitis in my knee if I would've kept it wrapped and sat on the couch for two weeks like Zeeland hospital told me to do the infection would've traveled to my heart and could've died. Dr. Joe is more than a chiropractor Crystal is more than an assistant! You won't find an office that is even remotely comparable to Shuluga chiropractic! I gave you 5 million stars!

Deceptive Billing Practices!!!! Paid the quoted $130 per visit (1 hr visit) up front before each…read moresession. The quoted price was based on my deductable not being met with my insurance so it should have been worst case scenerio. Instead, I am getting additional bills of $80 per visit bringing the total to $210 per visit (a 62% increase compared to the quoted price). I decided to call as a new patient and get a cash (no insurance) quote just to find out cash appointments are only $99 a visit. So, they charge 112% more ($210 per visit as compared to $99 per visit) if you have insurance?!? They did not provide a cash price quote in my initial consultation. Do not use them!!! You will end up spending thousands of dollars more than what they quote you!!!!!

I called 7 places! Parkhurst was one of the only ones who did same day x-rays and adjustments. Other places either didn't do x-rays at all (which is dangerous in my opinion of over 20 years of chiropractic care) or they only did x-rays on the first appt and you had to schedule another appointment to get adjusted. Dr. Russell was amazing. He explained everything to my husband thoroughly since this was his first ever chiropractic visit. He did multiple modalities and since I'd already been working on my husband for the last few days he showed me another trigger point to help him stretch out his hip flexors. Some of the modalities, like deep tissue laser therapy, I had never even seen. If we were local I would definitely be returning. The staff was all very nice and helpful. They took the time to make us copies of the x-rays to take home. It was a very busy office with swift check in and minimal wait times from what I could see while waiting for my husband to get his x-rays.
