I had excellent insurance but they wouldn't cover many of the "therapies" I was billed for at NovaCare. Because their billing is 4-6 weeks out, I didn't know they were charging me separately for everything, and BCBS was rejecting most of their charges. It cost me an average of $100 per visit. They will treat multiple patients while you do your exercises, leaving you on your own and waiting for the next step while they work with others. Check your insurance - they are most likely covering you for one-on-one PT - which I had about 25% of my time there. I was too uninformed to recognize their scam. Yes, the staff was friendly - the minimum I expect while I am being robbed.

I have had chronic low back pain for the last 18 years and have seen multiple doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, fascia body workers, mental health professionals of different styles, acupuncture, the list goes on. I've tried yoga, pilates, running, swimming, stretching, different strength training and none of it helped at all, in fact, most of them made my pain far worse. After hearing "nothing is wrong with you" by so many professionals I accepted that the pain may never get better. I discovered PRI and the more I learned the more I found similarities in my symptoms. Simio is a 2.5 hour drive from me but I am so incredibly grateful to have them and the drive is nothing compared to the results and pain relief they have provided me. I no longer have to use any pain medication, I can stand all day at work with little to no pain (where before I would be in near unbearable pain the entire time), I am virtually pain free at home.
