After a brief review, I was told my spine "looked older than it should," followed by a whiteboard presentation outlining a multi month treatment plan requiring visits one to two times per week. The proposed package was several thousand dollars and required upfront commitment. The entire process felt scripted and heavily geared toward selling a long term prepaid plan rather than starting conservatively and reassessing. After doing some research, I found that this type of recurring sales model is widely promoted in chiropractic to boost profits, which in turn, may lead to a sales process that is all about volume, and less focused on individuals who need the services. That context reinforced my impression that the focus was on maximizing long term revenue rather than determining whether I actually needed that level of treatment. This is not an accusation of wrongdoing, but it is how the experience felt to me. I left feeling like I had attended a sales presentation instead of a healthcare appointment. I think the team is nice and very professional, but I believe you as a customer need to rely on if you're actually in pain and your own intuition over the recommendations of this team if you're coming in on a free voucher and not out of need.

When you do repeated injections in the painful area and it doesn't help, he tries to shame you into continuing the injections anyway. If he had bothered to review my prior MRI or order a new MRI (and any good practitioner would have), he would have found that it was referred pain from a severe back problem that can't be fixed with injections and requires surgery. My advice is to try somewhere else that isn't just a needle-jockey mill.

Staff was very nice and checked to see how much longer before I would go into an exam room..said I was next. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I informed staff I was leaving. I heard them call my name as I was walking out the door but decided I didn't want to deal with the wait every time I needed to return. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I was in a car…read moreaccident 9 months ago and completed an entire treatment plan of chiropractic adjustments at a different practice until they said I was on "maintenance" even though I was still having severe neck pain, fatigue and numbness on left side of my face with headaches. I did a treatment plan of Physical therapy which helped some, but still did not resolve all of my symptoms. I was at my wits end when I called and scheduled with McAlpine chiro. For the first time since my accident, I finally felt heard and could sense his genuine compassion and eagerness to want to help me. After the first two adjustments I already had relief from the pain that I had for 8 months. Soon my mood improved, my extreme fatigue started to go away, and the pain was minimal. For 8 months my whole life was on pause. I was a completely different person. Once I went to McAlpine Chiro, I started making plans for activities with my family again! After x-rays, an assessment of my pain areas, he completely explained what he needed to do to help me. He is a good listener and takes his time with patients, giving them individual care with no rushed feeling. After a few treatments, I'm happy to report, I'm in good shape. Carmel greeted me right at the door and was so friendly and accommodating! If you park in the lot, she will validate your parking ticket for you. Doctor Monica spent over an hour with me for a consultation and adjustment. We spoke in depth about my pain and concerns, and then she explained what she believed we needed to work on. She said she really focuses on muscle therapy, in addition to adjustment, which has already made a world of difference after one visit. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for 8 years, and it has recently worsened. After one session with her, I am feeling much better. I then had a massage with Alicia, and it complimented my adjustment perfectly! I've never had a professional massage focus time on my head and feet, and it felt so nice! Important to point out, the practice is currently only accepting BCBS insurance. I'm fortunate to have that so I only have a co-pay for the adjustment and massage, but if you don't have BCBS, the massage would be $80, and I'm not sure the cost of the adjustment. Also worth noting is that the office space is so nice! It's clean, modern, inviting, and has spa vibe to it, as opposed to a medical office.
