We had carpet removed from master bedroom and 2 layers of vinyl ripped out in the kitchen. Then they installed hardwood floors. They matched the new floors to existing hardwood by tooth feathering into existing hardwood. Beautiful work! They also removed 2 half walls, moved an electrical outlet and put drop cloths everywhere and cleaned up every day before they left. The painter was meticulous. The electrician was conscientious. I had a relatively small job - removing carpet and finishing steps and a landing. I met with the owner who mentioned if I was willing to paint the risers, it would save me some money so I said sure, I dont mind painting. The day after the job was completed, I was able to see the work. The quality was not good at all. I contacted the company and they quickly said they would come back to repair. The day after the repair, the job still wasn't complete. There are nails and staples sticking out of the risers and the top piece of wood is rough. I contacted the owner again and was told that was not included in my quote despite that the day prior he said it would be included in the repair. I now have to pay someone else to come finish the job. I do not recommend.

I can cover that up to conceal the worst of it, but were never informed of it.) 3rd thing: While cleaning the grout, some of the grout was blown out and we were told someone will be in touch real soon to take care of patching the grout. I never heard anything back from them, but after about 2 months I thought I would look at their flooring for an entire small home and reminded them of the repairs which need done. They said they did find it on file and will take care of it. It is now at 2 additional months and have not heard anything from the store to try and rectify the problem. I wanted to remove the shower wall panels and replace them with tile, and I was given Larry's name by a friend who is a contractor. Larry was very responsive and his son/partner Jason actually came to the house to inspect the project. During the inspection Jason identified where the leak was coming from, and it was not from a seam in the shower wall. He showed me that the connection to the shower head was actually leaking behind the shower wall. This discovery meant that I did not have to replace the shower walls and instead just repair the fitting. Although we did not end up using Chester County Tile for this project, I will certainly use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Honesty, integrity and professionalism like this are hard to come by in today's world. Thank you, Larry and Jason.

Two years after purchasing out home, we learned that we had to relocate to Florida for work. We knew people would fall in love with the house as much as we did and that it would be a quick sale. Boy, very wrong. The offers came in quickly however, the sale did not. I sit here writing this review a year from the time we initially listed our home. Our prospective buyers inspection repair list came in at a whooping $100,000 and included a request to complete an exterior remediation because they suspected the stucco remediation competed just two years prior was not done correctly. We refused to fix because there was no evidence there was an issue - it was just done and we hadn't had any issues! But because we were selling and wanted to do the right thing, we reached out to an architectural firm and got their opinion. Unfortunately, the bad news came back that we truly did have an issue and we would need to start the journey to remove the NEW siding and replace it, along with all 43 windows and a couple of doors. We reached out to the contractor who originally completed the work. Given the concerns, there was clearly an issue with the workmanship and it should be corrected. The contractor declined to come look at the home and started blaming the previous owners who contracted him for the job. After several weeks of back and forth trying to get the story straight, we knew we had to move on and try and find a reputable company to help with complete the repairs. I reached out to at least 5 different contractors to try and fix the problem. I would either get proposals for a bandaid fix because they knew we were selling the home or not get in contact with them at all after calling multiple times and leaving messages. This was also in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic so contractors were busy and materials were starting to be scarce. It was a total nightmare. Thankfully I made a call to Glick's exteriors and Sam came out right away to assess the situation. Sam was able to identify the flashing issues and got to work. We had a variety of options to choose from with Certainteed and he did some hunting around to find quality windows and sliding glass doors within our budget. We replaced the lower tier siding with siding in modern colors that did the home justice. During the project, there were flashing issues identified with the hardscaping, we opted to fix the issues and the crew was also skilled to remove complete the job so we didn't have to hire another contractor and project manage schedules. Our home looks better now than the day we bought it people compliment us all the time on how it looks. Aside from the esthetic, the new windows now make it more energy efficient. It is like a 100 pound weight off our shoulders! The workmanship is beautiful. The crews are super professional; they arrive early, stay all day, show respect for our home and neighbors, and leave a small footprint. Sam, Scott and Chris are more than competent to handle stucco remediation and apparently failed remediations; they also don't try to sell you on repairs you don't need. Sam is a person of action - you call him, he calls you right back. You have a question or concern, he takes care of it right away. He made it as painless as possible, and is a very honest and humble guy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Glick's Exteriors!
