We were so pleased with Superior Custom Flooring. From the first time when they delivered the…read moreestimate, it was detailed and thorough. Zac Mento was patient, friendly and helpful. We had carpet removed from master bedroom and 2 layers of vinyl ripped out in the kitchen. Then they installed hardwood floors. They matched the new floors to existing hardwood by tooth feathering into existing hardwood. Beautiful work! They also removed 2 half walls, moved an electrical outlet and put drop cloths everywhere and cleaned up every day before they left. The painter was meticulous. The electrician was conscientious. The floor guys were artists. Zac coordinated all the work. Very satisfied with Superior.

I had a relatively small job - removing carpet and finishing steps and a landing. I met with the owner who mentioned if I was willing to paint the risers, it would save me some money so I said sure, I dont mind painting. The day after the job was completed, I was able to see the work. The quality was not good at all. I contacted the company and they quickly said they would come back to repair. The day after the repair, the job still wasn't complete. There are nails and staples sticking out of the risers and the top piece of wood is rough. I contacted the owner again and was told that was not included in my quote despite that the day prior he said it would be included in the repair. I now have to pay someone else to come finish the job. I do not recommend.

The fringe was completely dried out and the rug was beginning to unravel. We decided to bind the rug and the work to accomplish that--all by hand--was amazing! The rug looks fabulous! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Also--I had a second, very old silk carpet which we all decided wasn't worth repairing, which speaks to the honesty of the owners. Great communication too!

Found this business through Angie's List. It was easy to get a quote set up since this chain has…read morewhat seems like an entire staff set up that call leads to book quotes. Sales person who came out seemed confused from when he confirmed my appointment Sunday night (not a fan of being bothered on a Sunday), ran 20 minutes late despite explicit directions, and was unprepared during the appointment which required me to repeat information already that I've shared. During my experience I couldn't help but feel the sales person was coming across sexist, ageist, and insulting with a lot of assumptions. He was also a little too curious about things that are none of his business, ironically having missed ALL of the information which would have yielded a more positive and smooth experience for me. Despite this franchise being owned by a woman which seemed like the salesperson was backpedaling to emphasize (??), the salesperson came across doubtful of the facts provided to him. It kind of felt like diversity awareness would be helpful for the sales staff so that the business appeals to a variety of customers who are seeking home finishing services. It wouldn't hurt for the staff to be coached on being professional when engaging with different (from the sales person) clientele, situations and while visiting clients' homes. I walked away with a questionable impression and wanted to warn of my experience with other non-male, post-boomer demographic seeking flooring. Thanks for coming out on short turnaround to offer a quote.
