They have a little candy and snack stand as well. I don't think I've ever seen an actual bar inside of a jewelers. It looks like tappers is the main anchor at the shopping center? More like they have the biggest outdoor signage. Have to insist the Orchard mall to get to it. It's inside and to the left. $15 for a quick battery swap. $35 for a full sweep check and reseal and battery replacement. Steve told me to come by today and he would be able to replace the battery for me in 15 minutes himself. He's pleasant. This jewelry store has some of the most beautiful sapphire and diamond jewelry I have seen among other stores. Their variety is expansive and extensive. I was able to get the battery replaced, but they were not able to get the crystal or back resealed, so it's currently not considered waterproof. Have to limit any splash on it, and obviously cannot immerse in any water until it's taken to the factory location. Service is very good.

Then, as I began to think it over, I recalled most of the people working at Claire's are young girls and I wanted to ensure a good experience for my girl... It is, after all, a hole being made in her body! Things could go wrong... Misplacement, poor technique, someone being trained on my girl's ears (no thank you), infection... So, I decided to read reviews and my concerns were made reality before my eyes. I decided to research places people get piercings... There seemed to be two other options: a tattoo parlor or a jewelry store. The idea of taking my child into a tattoo parlor was an immediate "No" as I have never even gone into one myself, but seeing the tattoos out there and knowing that the photos/examples of what can be done are likely plastered on walls and visible places, I decided it was not suitable. I wanted this to be a sweet, innocent momma/daughter experience. So, I came across this highly reviewed place. I emailed them with like 10 questions. They emailed me back with thorough and satisfactory answers to ALL my questions, they took every COVID precaution necessary, they were friendly, helpful, kind and sweet... all the things I had hoped for in our experience. The woman who did the piercing is the only one that does them in the store and she's been doing it for like 30 yrs. She first cleaned the ears, marked the spot, asked my permission if I agreed that it was the right location... When I thought it might need to be moved, she explained that as she ages, her ear shape also changed and that it will grow into a really nice spot for her piercing... She used calipers to measure and be sure it had equal spacing on both sides(!) and then she did it so calmly and professionally... I could not have been happier. They also gave us the ear cleanser, the instructions to go with it and instructed us to come back in 6 wks to have them removed and filed down and pick out a new set of earrings. It was a precious memory for us and I am truly grateful for the staff at this jewelry store and all they did to make our day special.

However, I kept hearing great things about Dash Diamonds, so I figured I would give them a shot. I called and made an appointment because for my diamond guy, it was always more convenient for him, so I wanted to give them the same respect. Unfortunately, I had to check my calendar and change my appointment a couple of times, and they easily rescheduled me. I ended up needing an evening appointment (since I work late), and they accommodated me happily. I arrived to my appointment and was blown away by the atmosphere inside. I generally don't care too much about how a place looks, but this was hard to ignore. I could tell that they are very clean and take care of the entire space. And the inventory was amazing. They had so many options of so many styles in every price range. I was greeted immediately by a young lady and didn't have to wait long before my appointment with a gentleman named Joe. We discussed many different things that were on my mind. Joe was very honest and just as important, detailed. I have noticed that people are very vague and quick in this industry, but not Joe. He discussed everything and even recommended items I could purchase from OTHER jewelers. He made me feel very comfortable, and I purchased a nameplate for my girlfriend that he designed and customized to the perfect size and style to match my budget. I enjoyed his service so much that I returned a couple of months later to discuss a ring to propose to my then girlfriend. Again, he was very honest and even recommended that I look at other rings with other jewelers, because he was that confident in his product and service being the best. I did exactly that, and he was right. When it was all said and done, I was back with him making the purchase because he had the nicest diamond, the best setting, the fastest service, and the most competitive price. He also CUSTOM made a ring for me, since the concept I wanted did not exist. It does now, thanks to them. I like having someone to go to, without having to think twice about overpaying or not getting the best option. I no longer have to think about that because Dash Diamonds is now "MY diamond guy".
