He replaced them, as well as the batteries. When it came time to pay, he told me the amount and gave me a hand written invoice showing that same amount. I gave him my credit card, he gave me another receipt from the transaction, and I left. When I got in the car, I noticed that the amount on the receipt was about $4 more than what he told me, so I went back in to find out what happened. He proceeded to flip around a sign that said there is now a 4% processing fee due to inflation and said "Oops I forgot to turn the sign around." I generally like to support small businesses, but this guy is a liar, not to mention his store reeks of cigarette smoke. I will never return to this store again.

I was able to get the battery replaced, but they were not able to get the crystal or back resealed, so it's currently not considered waterproof. The very kind gentleman said the ring would be ready in about 30 minutes. When I went back to get the ring he asked me if it was my boyfriend's daughter's ring and I said yes and that, sadly, she had passed away a few days ago from a short battle with cancer at the age of 41 and my boyfriend wanted to wear it in her memory. This very kind gentlemen handed me the ring and said "no charge, I have five daughters." Needless to say, I started crying again.
