I cannot say enough about Karlee and her Staff!!! Super People and your dog comes first!!! Wrigley loves coming here!! He drags me down to get inside!!! Karlie loves Wrigs and Wrigs loves Karlee!! She gave Wrigs a bath and haircut and Karlee is so modest that she thought it wasn't her best cut but it was great!!! I can't say enough about Karlee -- but she is a Sweetheart and she treats Wrigs as if she owned him!!! Way to go Karlee!!!! read more

Their great!!!! The employees are nice their my dogs Cooper and Harper had fun I was able to go back in the kennel area with my mom and the place was clean!!!!! Lollipups Dog Play Day is awesome. In June I signed my 7 month old Golden Doodle up for the 10 play day package so he could learn to "socialize" with other dogs. At first Teddy was timid with his playmates, but now he can't wait to get there in the morning. It's such a great feeling watching him running around jumping on the play platforms with all the other dogs...running inside and outside together making new friends. Then the canine gang takes a "nap" and the fun starts all over again. The kennel boarding and play day manager, Karlee, is excellent. She loves and cares for all the dogs and they love her. She is very professional and you quickly have confidence in her knowledge for taking great care of your dog. Karlee's understanding of the dog's personality is reassuring because she is aware of each dog's safety and comfort level while they play with the other dogs. Karlee makes sure the new dogs feel safe and helps them get used to their surrounding and playmates. And Karlee is so sweet and friendly that she makes going to play day fun for Teddy and me, too. Her staff, Sarah, Danette and Paige are also great and very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The dogs are never left unsupervised. You can easily tell that Karlee and her staff love to be with the dogs as they play and develop a bond together. Lollipups is very clean and safe. No smells ever! They clean up accidents immediately. The large inside playroom is safe, colorful and fun with a glass wall so you can watch your sweet dog play with friends. The exercise they get while playing and jumping is very important, too. Older and shy dogs can easily find a safe spot to rest and watch the action. With the summer heat the inside provides a cool relief from the sun. Clean water is always available both inside and out. The outside play area has been updated for extra fun and safety and the dogs have the freedom to run inside and out as they wish. Teddy had his first "summer haircut" by professional groomer Marni last month and she did an excellent job! He looks so pretty and is much cooler now in the heat. Karlee will be giving him a shampoo this week so he will be extra beautiful! It's so convenient having groomers right there at Lollipups because he can play the rest of the day. I am so happy with Lollipups that I signed Teddy up for another 10 day package and will definitely continue to do so. And, just as important, when I need a place to board, Lollipups, Karlee and staff will be there to take great care of Teddy while we are away. No worries! And that peace of mind is priceless! read more

Some of these other reviews absolutely confuse me. Even though our Lab was only there one night while we were in town from Illinois, we thought it was great. The staff was friendly, they seemed to enjoy their jobs and care about the animals. When we dropped off, the girl let us go in back with her to see where the dog would be staying. She even told us she lived on premises and that we could feel free to call her at any time to check on the dog. I have never been allowed beyond the front desk of any kennel I've boarded a pet at or been given the impression that checking in on my dog was acceptable. Lollipups was immaculate, had no odor like kennels we've used, and everything looked new/well maintained. When we arrived to pick our dog up, she was in the large, playroom with the other dogs, everyone seemed to be having a great time and I didn't see any ignored "messes" on the floor. They trimmed her nails for us and they weren't even going to charge us full price because she came at closing the night before and hadn't gotten the full amount of time in the play area. The only thing I MIGHT agree with from other reviews was that it did feel a little warm inside but the dogs certainly weren't laying around listless and panting. I am as particular about how my dog is cared for as I am my children, some might argue that I am even more so with the dog! I would have no hesitation with boarding her at Lollipups again. read more

We boarded our dog here overnight and included Day camp play with other dogs. Though the facility is nice, I did not like the way they handled dogs: yelling at them and dragging them to get them to go outside. The receptionist was unable to remember anything we just said, and asked us to repeat things several times. She forgot to have us fill out any paperwork, and never asked to see the vaccination records. There were a dozen big dogs in the indoor play area, and the she tried to get them outdoors by taking our bag of food and running to the door screaming "I've got food!" This didn't work, so one by one, she dragged and "threw" the dogs outside by their collars. I might suggest she take a dog training class. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

I have no idea where these negative reviews are coming from either. We have been boarding our dogs here for several years, several times per . year and the staff has always been great. When I have been there it has always been clean.Both of our dogs seem to like it here as well. The groomer is great, too. When we have them groomed here, they always come back smelling great and are sparkling clean. read more

My Great Dane loves it here! He plays so hard during play time and loves the girls (employees). I never feel bad when I have to leave town for a few days because he loves it so much. He practically dragged me into the building today he was so excited. They also post pics on FB so I can check up on him while he's there. read more

GROOMING - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Scheduled an appointment here while visiting lake Geneva. Our dog is very accustomed to grooming services, as we take her bi-weekly to our local groomer. I dropped her off and came back to pick her up at the scheduled pickup time. The girl at the front desk informed me the groomer would be a few more minutes since previous appointments ran long. So I waited with my son in the front area for my dog to be finished. At that time I could see and hear my dog yelping... and instead of the groomer calmly handing the situating, she started SCREAMING things such as: "Wow!!! You're a piece of work, aren't you?!" "You wanna cry!?! I'll give u something to cry about!!" "God Da***it!!! I'm sick of the drama! I've had enough of u!!" I honestly couldn't believe I was hearing these things! Even if my dog was the most difficult dog in the world (which I highly doubt), there is still no place for this type of behavior. I was so upset, and I expressed my feelings to the girl at the front. Unfortunately, I was unable to speak directly to the groomer, as she didn't even take the time to come out to speak with me afterwords. She literally put my dog on the floor and continued on with her next "victim". It is also my understanding this groomer is the only groomer in the facility. I was informed she books clients 7 days a week, and hasn't had a day off in a very long time. I would suggest lollipups hire another groomer, if not to fully replace her, but to at least allow her a day off. She's clearly taking out her frustrations on our wonderful pets! Will never be coming back here again and I hope this review is read by anyone looking for grooming services in lake Geneva. read more

I've heard and witness a dog they lost he was lost for days luckily he was found in the other side of town lots of good dog living people helped in the search he crossed the main roads and that's a scary thought and it's not the first incident I wouldn't recommend at all !!!! read more

Don't do it. Do your research. Dirty, lots of feces in all the rooms. I don't trust the business. My dogs were extremely thirsty, hadn't been let out in a long time and both threw up when we got home. My German Shepherd had a raw spot on her elbow and both my dogs seemed terrified. I'm a local and will never support them again. Aside from my experience I've heard of other locals who won't go there. If your dog is super social and carefree they'll get along with the dogs but the amount of feces was enough for me to never go there again. read more

The owner had an ad on Craigslist for kittens and it stated they take donations. I called to see if they had any kittens left and she said they did. I asked what the typical donation was to adopt a kitten and she said the money goes into the boarding facility. I again made sure i would be making a donation, she said yes. I drove an hour and fifteen minutes to go and see these kittens and i fell in love with one in particular. The owner said she was eight weeks old, she wasnt spayed, no shots, but they did feed her and give her a flea bath. I offered $20 for a donation she said "We ask for $50 to $60 for our kittens." WTF? This whole time she said donation not adoption fee or rehoming fee. Why would i pay $50 for a kitten that she never even had taken to the vet? I was extremely upset and went back upstairs and asked if she'd take $45. She said " Do you REALLY want her?" duh so against my better judgement i paid the $45. I love my new kitten but if she would have been upfront with me i never would have gone out there. Such a scam. read more

We boarded our dog here for a weekend over the summer since we were in town for a wedding. We arrived around 8:30 a.m. and were surprised to see that not one employee was anywhere around There were a couple dogs barking in their cages and we noticed that their cages had not been cleaned up after "taking a dump"! A girl finally came around from the back and after I told her that I had made an appointment a few days ago, she started to look for the reservation but could not find anything at all. I also gave her a copy of our dogs vaccinations. She ended up calling me an hour later (while I was at the wedding) claiming she did not have a vaccination record, to which I explained that I GAVE her a copy while I was there, and that we both had reviewed it to make sure it was up-to-date. "Oh, yeah" was her answer. She seemed very confused and obviously "high" on something. Will NOT be going back! read more

We found Lollipups last summer when I was trying to find somewhere to keep my dogs on my wedding day, and on weekends in the summer when we go boating. I wanted her for photos but couldn't watch her all day. She stayed at Lollipups on my wedding day, and every weekend we have visited since! They remember our dogs by name each time, and I know they have a fabulous time because they are always exhausted from all the playtime they get! The facility is so cute, and there is so much room for them to play. Someone is always supervising the play, too. I feel safe leaving my dogs there under the care of Lollipups staff (and that's coming from a super overprotective dog mom). All the dogs must be current on vaccinations, there's a great selection of boarding for them if they stay overnight (my dogs love the indoor/outdoor suite), and you get a small discount if you board your dogs together. Overall, this place deserves 5 stars! As for the other review, if you look at the update, it wasn't Lollipups fault at all. Highly recommend them! read more
