Lollipups Dog Play Day is awesome…read more In June I signed my 7 month old Golden Doodle up for the 10 play day package so he could learn to "socialize" with other dogs. At first Teddy was timid with his playmates, but now he can't wait to get there in the morning. It's such a great feeling watching him running around jumping on the play platforms with all the other dogs...running inside and outside together making new friends. Then the canine gang takes a "nap" and the fun starts all over again. The kennel boarding and play day manager, Karlee, is excellent. She loves and cares for all the dogs and they love her. She is very professional and you quickly have confidence in her knowledge for taking great care of your dog. Karlee's understanding of the dog's personality is reassuring because she is aware of each dog's safety and comfort level while they play with the other dogs. Karlee makes sure the new dogs feel safe and helps them get used to their surrounding and playmates. And Karlee is so sweet and friendly that she makes going to play day fun for Teddy and me, too. Her staff, Sarah, Danette and Paige are also great and very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The dogs are never left unsupervised. You can easily tell that Karlee and her staff love to be with the dogs as they play and develop a bond together. Lollipups is very clean and safe. No smells ever! They clean up accidents immediately. The large inside playroom is safe, colorful and fun with a glass wall so you can watch your sweet dog play with friends. The exercise they get while playing and jumping is very important, too. Older and shy dogs can easily find a safe spot to rest and watch the action. With the summer heat the inside provides a cool relief from the sun. Clean water is always available both inside and out. The outside play area has been updated for extra fun and safety and the dogs have the freedom to run inside and out as they wish. Teddy had his first "summer haircut" by professional groomer Marni last month and she did an excellent job! He looks so pretty and is much cooler now in the heat. Karlee will be giving him a shampoo this week so he will be extra beautiful! It's so convenient having groomers right there at Lollipups because he can play the rest of the day. I am so happy with Lollipups that I signed Teddy up for another 10 day package and will definitely continue to do so. And, just as important, when I need a place to board, Lollipups, Karlee and staff will be there to take great care of Teddy while we are away. No worries! And that peace of mind is priceless!

Think emotionally scarring a dog is impossible? Think again!…read more These people SHAVED our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, despite explicit instructions to keep their fur long. I'm not sure what the groomers did to them, but they were so traumatized they were shaking. When they got home they kept barking at nothing, and looked so frightened. They weren't back to normal for months. We went there many times before this, and had mediocre experiences. But this was beyond mortifying. I can't believe groomers could treat our dogs like that, let alone how they treated my mother. The groomers refused to refund our money, and said horrifying things to my mother. She was in tears after their conversation. It was a heinous experience. Edit: In response to the owner, that's simply untrue. They were groomed 6 WEEKS before, and while they were matted, it certainly didn't warrant shaving them down to their skin. But even if that were true, the way you treated my mother, yelling at her, and treating her like an animal(or how you clearly treat animals..), is beyond reproach.

We had never been thrilled, but there was one groomer we liked who was mysteriously fired the day before we brought our dogs in. My mother was VERY specific with what she wanted--keep their fur long, let her know if there are any problems. Not only did they ignore her instructions and SHAVE all three of our dogs, but THEY CHARGED HER EXTRA for "detangling mats," which was ridiculous, because obviously they didn't do any such thing, they just shaved them off. They pressured my mom to pay before she saw the dogs (which she did, never imagining they would have gone against her explicit instructions). She was shocked when she saw them, to the point of tears. The people at "Pampered Pup" had the audacity to defend what they did, and didn't offer her any kind of refund. Rude. Completely inept. And, beyond all that, our dogs now shake and whine any time they fear they may be taken to the groomers. DO NOT GO HERE.

And here's a list of reasons why I chose to do so: 1. They do not use wired cages. Instead their cages are tempered glass. 2. Their accommodations are either 2 or 4 stories, which definitely allows a cat to move around instead of being stuck in a single tiny cage. 3. They actually play with the cats and allow them to have their own time out of their cages to play in their kitty playground. If there are other cats boarded, they create a schedule to ensure there are no overlaps with other cats. 4. They are extremely friendly, and they have teenagers working to provide excellent care. Additional positives: Apparently, their cages have their own ventilation system. Also, the cost is extremely manageable, and they do not charge extra if they need to administer oral medication. They have an active Facebook page where they upload tons of pictures of all the pets they are taking care of. Even though they are more dog based than cat, I did not feel that my cat was ever ignored. I did send them couple of emails for updates, that they were very quick with responding back.

They have done a remarkable job of upgrading the business and it shows. It is not easy working with dogs, who like people, have different personalities and behavioral reactions. The staff really take the time to know the animals and the owners. They do all of my grooming (I have rescue huskies) and are still cheerful even when my dog(s) have displayed less than ideal attitudes and behaviors. In addition, they carry an extensive line of Fromm products, which is the only type of dog food I have used since 1993.

To anyone considering buying a puppy . I have bought a puppy from here 2 different times…read more Each time I was dealt with in a very nice manner. The 1st one was what they refer to as a "Teddy". When I took him to my vet and they checked him, I was told he was in very good health and as I continued to own him, he was in very good health. He adjusted well to the 2 cats I owned and they adjusted to him. Then in May of 2014 I purchased another puppy. She was a mixture of cocker spaniel / black labrador from her mother and Border Collie from her father. Again I was treated very nicely and again when I took her to my vet they told me she is a healthy puppy and a real cutie . I bought her at 8 weeks of age just as I had of the previous one and I have to say she has been the sweetest dog, she will be going on 3yrs old and Never has she growled or snarled at me. She is very affectionate and obedient. She is house trained and she is extremely quiet even from the 1st day I brought her home. I expected because she was away from her many siblings she would naturally whimper an whine throughout the night but much to my surprise she never did and she has remained to be silent when I put her in her cage at night to sleep. She is great with little children and adults. I have been one of the fortunate buyers who has never had 1 problem with the people at Puppy World. I got all of the paper work and it showed where she came from and it showed her medical records. All of the above reasons is why I gave them a 5 star rating. I hope if you decide to buy a puppy, your dealing with them will be as good as mine has been and I wish you much happiness with your new puppy. Ps. Every time I have been there it has always been very clean and if a puppy had an accident, it was cleaned up immediately and I watched them do the cleaning and it smelled very clean an pleasant.
