They are fast, they are reasonably priced, but most importantly, they treat Daisy with respect and are so gentle with her. I can't and won't take her anywhere else every again. They take the CUTEST photos after she's is done! They always have some cute backdrop for the dogs and always give her an adorable scarf, bow, and sometimes both! I can tell Daisy feels so special when she leaves there. All the attention they give her, plus losing some of that stinky old hair. I'm so thankful to find a groomer I TRUST with my fur baby! They have done a remarkable job of upgrading the business and it shows. It is not easy working with dogs, who like people, have different personalities and behavioral reactions. The staff really take the time to know the animals and the owners. They do all of my grooming (I have rescue huskies) and are still cheerful even when my dog(s) have displayed less than ideal attitudes and behaviors. In addition, they carry an extensive line of Fromm products, which is the only type of dog food I have used since 1993.

It has recently changed hands and being managed by a new owner. It definitely has a different vibe which I guess I'm just not yet used to. The former owners, Peter and Bruce, were really in tune with our neurosis with leaving our dogs for extended periods. If we had concerns, they were promptly addressed and our minds were quickly put at ease. They had a long time, loyal staff that were really amazing and always made us feel totally comfortable. I think it's just going to take time for me to adjust to the new set up. The new owner seems wonderful and has an active Facebook page which provides pictures of what the dogs are doing on a regular basis. They have special dinners for the dogs on major holidays and make these homemade wonderful frozen treats that our dog goes nuts over. They have installed turf in all the play areas so the dogs come home with muddy paws, which I'm sure was very costly to have installed. Very nice upgrade. Our dog really enjoys her stay here. She loves the socialization and I appreciate that they mix it up where she gets to play with the big dogs and the little dogs. (She's only 40 lbs and usually prefers puppies and and little dogs). I hope Cedar Dale continues in the tradition of providing excellent service to their clients. It's clear that they love the animals and are engendering a warm, nurturing environment. I would encourage the staff to continue to work on communication skills. Communicating with a customer who is thousands of miles away while their pet is being boarded can be a challenge. Take the time to exude confidence that you've got everything under control and maybe follow up with a quick e-mail, especially if it's a long term boarder who is far away. I appreciate the Facebook page, it's a great way to convey to long term boarders that their pups are safe and happy!

I just spoke on the phone to Cedar Dale Pet Resort regarding my concerns over being over charged…read morefor my dogs boarding and grooming. They are making false claims. The woman on the phone said they have a note in their system that they told me the grooming prices vary and gave me cost estimates. This is untrue. They never spoke to me. If they had given me those prices ($600 for grooming) I would not have approved those charges. In fact they never spoke to me on the phone. All communication was done in writing via email. I have also attached the invoice I was given as an estimate and the grooming is listed as $0 - she said I should have known it wasn't free. And went on to try and shame me saying they don't work for free. That $200/ dog is normal for big dogs. Every other time we have boarded our dogs at other facilities they have either included a bath/groom for free or charged a small free, under $60 a dog. The only reason we did not use our normal boarding facility was they were closed for renovations the week we were going to be gone. Cedar Dale Pet Resort apparently feels that charging 50% more than the original written quote without getting authorization is acceptable. Please do not ever use Cedar Dale Pet Resort, they do not honor their price estimates and do not ask permission before performing services that can exceed $500-600.

She is always fighting with you on what your dog should receive, despite it being your dog. She has no set prices, they are "at-will" and is just really hard to deal with. The grooming department refused a simple walk-in nail trim despite advertising that service. The…read moregroomer would not come out, did not assess my dogs, and declined service without even looking at them. I later learned she told corporate my dogs couldn't walk--this is false. They were in a stroller because of the rain, not due to any limitation. She never evaluated them. Refusing service is one issue--misrepresenting the situation is another. This should never have required escalation. Honor your policies and be truthful. Very disappointed that someone would lie especially at her age, and that it would be a lie regarding basic animal care ( a 2 min nail trim) in a field that you work in. Shameful.

I just walked in to the Petco this evening and was greeted or shall I say lack thereof a greeting by Tina. She already had the front door locked. Nothing shows welcoming a customer into the store by a locked door. Apparently it was too late for people to come into the store for Tina. She was the rudest, most condescending arrogant emotionless most horrible human that I've ever come into contact with this week. If she is the actual manager of your store, I would highly review hiring someone else with more customerservice driven with actual customerservice experience! It's clear she has zero!!! I simply came in to make a few returns as I have had to go to a prescription dog food which I pay over $100 for monthly. All the previous associates have always said if my dog doesn't like the food, I can return it at any time. Tina was the most unhelpful minimum wage customer service representative I've ever dealt with! Did I mention she was arrogant condescending? I will never be back to the store location because of Tina!! to top it off, as I was leaving, she smiled with the most condescending smile and in a very sarcastic tone, said to have a very good evening. His grooming skills are phenomenal and his prices are very reasonable. I would never go any place else for my dogs because I love and care about them- they are my family. He treats every dog well and respectful. One time when I could not get into him in a timely manner , I made the mistake of going elsewhere and had a horrendous experience.
