If only 5 stars was enough. I moved back to Seattle, desperate for a place to call home & I found it at the Lola.
I was here for over 2 years. I will highlight the best parts
- Landlord - PHENOMENAL. Fred & his team take amazing care of the property, surrounding neighborhood because that's what a good landlord is. He was apart of the first 2 years of my cats life. He is kind, patient, gentle & quick to make sure you are taken care of. Takes care of everything on site himself. He is truly the best landlord I've ever had and will probably ever have.
- Neighbors - Fantastic! - if you are open to your neighbors they will be open to you. Laughing in the laundry room, going to each others cocktail nights & Christmas parties. Just being kind. Fred, has cultivated this community to a perfect science.
- Location - Central - it's literally right next to a major bus line to Seattle. Walking distance to climate pledge & space needle. Morning runs? You'll run through myrtle edwards Park. There's a mini mart right across the street and the guys who took it over are SO sweet.
- Apartment - built in 1920's - 600 sq ft isn't like the new builds you see now a days. These apartments are vast, spacious, the bathtubs are DEEP. Just check it out. You'll see it's all the space you need
- Parking Garage - nuff said ;) prime parking in uptown? I am going to miss that so much, parking enforcement sucks but you can get a permit so don't you worry, there like $50
- Mail Room - is open 1 St hallway in the building because there is an honor system and everyone who lives here is honorable. Straight up.
Here are photos. If you needed a sign, you've got one. If you get an apartment with east facing windows, you have scored the lotto. If you get apartment 104, call yourself the luckiest tenant read more
