Designer Jessica Bostic showed us that, despite the constraints of multiple doors and a c. 1911 wall-sized built-in, we could have a much bigger island than we ever thought possible. This means that I can prepare meals while my 8 year-old plays toy soldiers at the end of the island, making it all much more pleasant. We also appreciated the cabinet layout which took into account a bulkhead we couldn't remove and other interesting challenges old houses sometimes offer. They also suggested places to find countertops (we unexpectedly chose Fantasy Brown marble, which was much more affordable than we thought.) Jessica also met me at a tile showroom in the Indianapolis area where I found the marble tile for the backsplash; my husband and I love the way it flows with the countertop. In an area where finding reliable construction crews can be tough, the construction crews overseen by Phil and affiliated with In Style were thorough, professional, prompt and very responsive whenever we had questions. This was a very positive construction experience and we really appreciate all the time that they spent on the project. We love our kitchen and are so grateful to In Style for helping us achieve the kitchen of our dreams.

My husband and I were pending for a house that needed an extensive amount of work. It was just under 5K square feet and Kit and the owner Phil came and took measurements and notes on all the ideas I had for improving/upgrading the house. They were both very attentive, vocal with ideas and suggestions, and incredibly personable! I received contact information for several vendors that they use and Kit scheduled an appointment with me to go over our ideas and the quote. To make a long story short we did not get the house. However, I will not forget the quality of service we received and felt like we would have been in very good hands had we used them. I would highly recommend their team and know who to call should we need remodeling in the future.

My wife has been talking about wanting a makeover for her bathroom (technically it's ours, but let's get real!) I thought I would stop in and see what they might have. Turns out this place designs kitchens and baths and actually had a few rooms set up to help those who need to see real spaces to get a feel for them. Although I think our bath is limited without major construction challenges, I will keep this place in mind since it is licensed and insured and the displays looked appealing. But what really occupied my time here was checking out their extensive supply of Big Green Eggs. Seriously, where I live, it takes less time to get to Ellettsville than it does to get to Sullivan's Hardware on the northeast side (and less traffic too!) One of the two owners of the business came out to greet me when I entered and we started chatting about these state of the art grilling stations. My friend swears by his egg, so I decided to check out what makes them different. Turns out the owner I dealt with has been competitively grilling for a long time and I was impressed that he took time to answer many questions, steer me towards some You Tube videos for ideas, and even mentioned Sullivan's annual cooking competition as a place to buy lightly used equipment at a nice savings to get started. He was SO Helpful! Although I didn't buy one on my visit, I would have no qualms about returning here when I decide to pull the trigger on a purchase. (These aren't cheap grills since they are molded ceramic containers and can weigh hundreds of pounds.) From the business's website and Facebook page, they do encourage making an appointment if you wish to talk design for your kitchen and/or bath makeover. David L was our initial poc and I should've known something was special about him when he kept pulling more and more items out of a moderately sized bag like a magician with rabbits. He came to our home and worked with us on what we needed versus preferences - including concerns and potential issues we didn't even think of. His time and focus on our project was just the beginning of our walkin shower journey. Our second poc was Carrie who is exceptionally competent at the "office" side of the business; she managed the inner workings and even made direct contact with the VA for us so that we wouldn't be stuck in the middle. Her affable nature and consistent communication made this part of the process - which I thought would be the worst - easy and stress free. Our materials took some time to come in but we never felt forgotten during those weeks. And then installation day came! Our expert installer, David H, literally sealed the deal for us. He was so respectful of our home and genuinely a delight to work with. He is well versed in this industry and his skills are beyond compare. I was impressed that he knew the answers to most of our questions but of the few he didn't know, he called someone who did to provide us with accurate information instead of just making something up. We were extremely pleased with his personality and his workmanship. In the end, we got an outstanding new bathroom shower with zero hiccups and complete confidence in Superior Bath Systems. We recently completed a shower replacement project, upgrading the hardware, flooring, and tilework,…read moreand installing new dual showerheads with a hand wand. The Kohler hardware was purchased from Donnie Briggs at Kohler, and the tilework and installation was done by Mark Groce. Mark has strong attention to detail from getting the grout mix and color to carefully placing each tile. The process could take a while since some of the items needed may need to be custom cut. We're incredibly happy with the craftsmanship and quality of the finished shower. I highly recommend both Donnie Briggs for hardware and Mark Groce for his construction/installation work and both of them are great with design and attention to detail. I recommend future clients to be involved in the construction process, as it helps with communication and decisions. I would gladly work with both Donnie and Mark again for any future projects.

Had horrible experience with sales associate, Beth, and my bathroom remodel. she allegedly spoke…read morewith my contractor that was also recommended by Kohler and told me that a 36 inch vanity would fit only later to find out that it didn't and it was not returnable. She knew it wasn't returnable and didn't give me the heads up that I shouldn't take a chance that it wouldn't fit and I would be stuck with it. On top of that, she told the contractor that I wanted the brick tile stacked in my shower when I explicitly told her that I wanted it horizontal brick pattern. So I'm stuck with that too. Even after I spent all that money at the Kohler store the manager and the owner, Joe Rotskoff, were such jerks and acknowledge how I was misled and ripped off. I would not recommend anybody to deal with the Kohler store in Indianapolis.

I almost hate to review this place because then everyone will go…read moreand they won't have what I need if I go back! :) We are remodeling our bathroom and needed nice cabinets without paying the nice price everyone wants. Found this in place thru the yellow pages and so glad we did! We bought everything we needed for our bathroom (9 cabinets of different sizes) AND ended up buying three sets of cabinets for our laundry room. You don't know what they have in stock - they get it from places going out of business, etc. But there is a very large selection there, and apparently they can also order some missing pieces you may need. Everything is new. Prices vary from 40%-70% off retail. Most of it is finished, although they had a small amount of unfinished cabinets. We purchased maple cabinets for just a little more than you would pay for the cheap, unfinished oak cabinets that are for sale at the big box stores. And the guy who helped us was terrific to work with - very patient and very knowledgeable . He also drew up on the computer a design for the cabinets to make sure we got what we needed - just like they would in a regular cabinet store! So glad we found this place!
