I can't say enough good things about Daniel and Terra Verde…read more First and most importantly, Daniel is 100% not your run-of-the-mill Long Island lawn guy who also fancies himself a landscape designer. This is a man with a graduate degree in his field who knows this world back and forth, and it shows. His design sense is incredible and, after visiting our house to scout the property before he sketched a plan, he was flexible and creative enough to work within our budget without sacrificing the elegance of that plan. Daniel was also very engaged throughout the process, from keeping our preferences in mind during the design, to following up personally after everything was planted to offer advice on pruning and aftercare. The front of our home has never looked better and I am very grateful for his excellent work.

While they may fulfill your work needs, they tends to leave the surrounding area and street in a state of disarray. They also have a tendency to use your neighbor's driveway and cross over your own lawn without seeking permission, which could lead to property damage and other problems. Despite our requests, they haven't shown much consideration for the impact of their actions.

Perhaps it was their first job with me 4 years ago but I have learned a lot since they came and…read morewent. They did paver walkways and around thee pool at my house. The mistakes and poor workmanship are far tooo many to list here. They didn't even use polymeric sand as they were supposed to for the entire job. They did not lay a concrete foundation for the pavers, drilled holes for the pool ladder in the wrong spot requiring me to buy a new ladder, and there is much much more. My neighbor had recommended them but has now cut ties due to another job they screwed up. NOW, about 4 years later (the problems started at 1 year) I have to hire someone to power wash between my pavers, reset many of them and properly install the polymeric sand as should have been done at first. The pavers are tilting away from the walkway and the whole area that was not properly installed (most of it) needs to be re-done. Unless Corey has learned since doing my job how to do this work professionally, I would stay away from him. When confronted with the workmanship he was hostile to the point where he was intimidating and just stuck with the fact that he underestimated the cost. Now after all this time I have finally gotten the gumption to tell the story as it was. I have photos for proof of how he left the property. So, should you decide to use this firm, learn first about how it's supposed to be done and them watch and make certain they do it correctly.

We lined the larger driveway with a small retaining wall along my neighbors side. Everyone of his guys are cordial and they all seem to work like a well oiled machine. After having other companies to give estimates I'm so happy we decided on pure! Everything came out so perfectly we've already contracted with them for a new built in BBQ and firepit this spring. I can't wait to see how great it's gonna come out. I highly recommend the guys at pure to all of my friends and colleagues. Thank you Corey for fulfilling my family's expectations.

They were professional, punctual, and reasonably priced for the scope of work. That kind of follow-through is rare these days. Can't recommend them enough.

I'm not sure how this company has such stellar reviews. Their great rating was the reason I went…read morewith them in the first place. I went with them last year to lay irrigation down in my front yard with a whole new system with foundation plantings to be watered by drip irrigation. With the really hot summer of 2025, I called two times for them to come out because the foundation plants were not adequately watered with drip irrigation. The first time, Reynolds came really quickly. The second time, I was told that I could change the amount of water myself on the app and that the team had already come out once to service me and that they had changed out 3 leaks in the drip system for free! The issue is, drip irrigation put in place did not reach all the plants - even though I was told it would- so I could increase the amount of water as much as I want and all it would do it drown some plants while others stay dry. Fast forward a year later, some very valuable trees have withered and died -3 japanese maples and 1 blue spruce along with some other shrubs. They also neglected to tell me that they reduced the amount of water everything was getting by 1/3 last summer because of the water shortage. They probably thought homeowners can change this themselves if plants look like they need more water. But we were away for July 2025 and came back to dead trees. An email telling us that they were doing this would have gone a long way. After thousands of dollars, I'm now back at square one and needing another system. Oh, they also told me they would change my old system (valves etc) and they didn't. They retrofitted everything to an old 30 year old system - I was told this when I got a new estimate recently. I was also told that the drip irrigation system was improperly installed, not suitable for my foundational plantings and were getting leaks because they didn't put a regulator in for that much water pressure. It would have been good for them to tell me that before installing the system. What a mess! Stay Away!
