Despite not being the cheapest quote, I decided to go with Bryan, and he showed up exactly on time, 8:30am, he did exactly what we agreed to, and did it to an expert degree. I couldn't be happier with First Coast Tree. They ended up taking down a large palm that was leaning over my neighbors fence/pool. They cleared out a second tree in the front yard and then removed a huge bush line. They left the area looking cleaned up, and all in all, was a 10 out of 10 job. I will absolutely hire them again in the future.

Oaks, pecans, hickory's, magnolias, and hundreds of azaleas to trim back. I'm picky. Most of the visits to my home have taken more than a day to complete. JEA sent an arborist out (at Bryan's request) one time because the canopies reached over their power lines. Both companies (JEA and First Coast) worked together for a couple of days to clear limbs away from the power lines. I try to wait for the winter months when all the leaves are down. Cheaper for me cause there's usually truckloads of waste to haul off. He's usually spent time walking the property and telling me what he thought ought to be done. He's conscientious about not wanting to kill an old tree that has shade and life left. If diseased, he'll try to shape around it so I can get a few more years out of them. When it's time to take out a bad one, he's done that too. When there's stump grinding involved, for me that's always been a huge tree we had to take down. He's always outsourced someone else that only does stump grinding and told me that's a separate company and I'll have to pay that person. He might have a grinder for little stuff, I don't know. He's never taken down anything little for me. I would recommend this company.

Alex, from the get go, was always polite and knowledgeable willing to schedule at our best convenience. My neighbor and myself both received quotes at the same time and because of this Alex gave us a better deal due to a one time job rather than multiple, which was easier on us as well as him. He arrived at the scheduled time he said he would and his crew (including himself) got started right away. They actually worked from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm without stopping, even for a break, and was able to finish everything we had agreed upon. (Removed 4 large red maples, 1 rain tree(located in a tight area between the houses), a large heavy Pindo Palm that literally leaned over my pool. He also included grinding out all of the stumps as well as cleaning out and trimming up my large oak at the front of my property. He and his crew were very professional as well as courteous and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after and blew off the driveway as well. It's nice to find a company that follows through with what they say as well as showing up on time which is a rarity these days. I will recommend them to anyone that needs tree work from here on and use them again when needed. Great Job Lee's Trees (Alex) !!!

We met Alex, the owner when he drove by our yard and saw us struggling to take down a rotten tree. He gave us such a reasonable quote, we could not say no. It turns out that he's done tree work for several of our friends and they have all had the same great experience. Alex and his crew texts when they're on their way and show up on time. He has all of the equipment of a big tree company without the overhead so he's able to give a very reasonable quote. He's also extremely honest and let us know that several of the trees we had thought to take down were actually healthy and would bloom come spring time. The entire crew was exceedingly polite - not only to me but to each other. There was no swearing and no yelling and no texting on the job. I was happy to see that everyone had hardhats and safety harnesses when necessary. And, there were no cigarette butts laying around at the end of the day which was a pleasant surprise - no one smokes on the job - even better. Alex gives an honest estimate and sticks to it. There are no hidden surprises. I have given his business card out to all of my friends with tree service needs. I would not have hesitate to recommend him for any job. His attention to detail and prices cannot be beat. He and his crew have done an awesome job on each of our projects for an equal incredible price. It's amazing how nice the yards have looked after he and his team complete the tree work.

We wanted to get a head start of hurricane season before it got the best of us this year! Thus far, the joke's on us as we've not seen much activity yet this year. But, that's okay! It took a hot minute for our service to happen (just over a month from the time we got the estimate.) We didn't expect that... but apparently Curtis & his crew are in demand! It was well worth the wait, tho! Using a lift, they removed ALL dead foliage from our trees, removed overgrown branches, stacked all yard waste in a pile and then loaded it all into a dump truck via skid steer for same day removal! Aside from spruced up trees & tracks in the yard (think lawn mower tracks not muddy ruts!) from the skid steer -- no sign that they had even been there! It took a crew of 4-5 people about 3 hours and my yard looks 100% better! Call Northeast Florida Tree Experts! You won't be disappointed!
