I hadn't been here in years and was glad to know it was still around and still offering affordable Momos. I ordered food to go and they already had their Momos prepared in take out containers so there was zero wait. Great spot for take out. Their selection has definitely become smaller, and they had run out of the vegetable Momos so I got the potato Momos which were very tasty. Of course I asked for their hot sauce! read more

Loga's Corner - Potato momos to go. - Himalayan/Nepalese Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Loga has expanded the menu to include parathas and beef noodle soup. Both are good and both are $6 like the momo's. In terms of price it's still a very good deal. The 1 less star is because even though it's very convenient that the momo's are ready (like a fast food joint, great if you're hungry), I'd prefer to wait to get freshly made ones. And that doesn't happen very often anymore. I still like the veggie momo's and my son still loves the beef ones. We like them steamed, if you order them fried, it will be fried fresh. But the switch from fresh to fast food, made me take a star away. read more

First about the positive side: there are several varieties of momos on the menu - beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian. They are ready and prepackaged and, unless you want fried momos, you do not have to wait. That is convenient and we go to get take out for lunch from Loga's corner for our office on a regular basis. The dumplings are not the best - the dough is very thick. Service however is appalling. The owner of this place is very rude. He always gives soy sauce very reluctantly and actually argues with the clients. Last time when my colleague and I came to pick up 5 orders for our office he told us that we should take 1 tiny container of soy sauce (and I repeat - tiny) and share. I tried to explain that it was not possible - we would be eating separately and everybody asked for hot and soy sauce. He ended up getting very angry and yelling at us. That was unbelievable. Going forward I will be taking my business elsewhere. Especially considering mediocre food. There are many momo places in the area that sell far better dumplings and treat their clients in a friendly manner. read more

The best Nepalese/Himalayan food in Toronto, bar none. Incredible value. Loga is a lovely person who is very passionate about his business and serving his community. read more

Excellent if all you're looking for is momos. Very few tables, but most people in line are there for take out. Popular with the locals. Very informal. Somehow they get the orders straight at the counter, even though there is no formal system of keeping track of orders; scratch pad and employees. Nicest people, overworked though. If you get the fried momos, know that they are not pan fried, they are deep fried. That was our only disappointment. Great experience. Now that we know the ropes, our next experience should be smoother. read more

Loga's is a specialty momo restaurant servin chicken, beef and vegetarian momos. We tried the deep fried chicken Momo and steam beef Momo and we preferred the steamed version. The homemade hot sauce is also delicious and we bought a jar to take home! read more

I've been going here since this place replaced Chicken Plus during my high school days. I'm so glad to see Eddie Huang and Matty Matheson give Loga's the recognition he deserves and introduce Tibetan/Nepali food to mainstream media. Loga is an extremely warm and friendly dude, and I respect the hustle he's been running in the early days of his business because it was always just him and one other person in the back making momos. The steamed beef momos will be the only thing I'll always get and I'm perfectly fine with that! It packs so much flavour and it's so fragrant that it'll leave you with momo breath for hours haha. I'll always recommend this place to any dumpling lover. read more

Never had a momo before but wow It's really different, tried the pork, veg and chicken and my fav was the steamed veg momo Super adorable meal, you might have to wait to get your order but it's worth it. Parking was ok to find but it's a small place anyways most people do take out than dine in. The owner was amazing, he made the entire experience. Accidentally overcharged by us by a dollar then tried to refund us back right away, so cute lol! instead he gave us an extra sauce jar that we wanted. I love that they kept the menu simple so you really can try authentic food. read more

I went down to Parkdale yesterday evening planning to try a different Tibetan restaurant, but not really knowing which one. After walking around a bit, I settled on Loga's Corner, which I have read has great momos. It seems to be largely directed towards take-out, but there is a dining area at the side with about a dozen tables, some of nice polished wood and some very plain. There is little in the way of décor, except for a few pictures and a tv. Orders are placed at the serving counter by the door, where there is also a blackboard menu and a utensils counter. The menu is almost entirely momos of different varieties. There was also a beef noodle soup and potato balls, but I had come for the momos anyway, so I ordered the beef, 10 momos with a side of hot radish. Everything is served in styrofoam plates or trays, and plastic cutlery is at the counter. The momos were already prepared, so there was no waiting, but they were definitely still hot and soft and very delicious. The radish added a nice hot flavour to the meal. I also had my usual cup of butter tea afterwards. Overall, some of the best momos I have had. All prices were $7 per serving or $8 if fried (tax inc). The sign above the door says it all: "Take-out Momo", but this is a great choice if that's what you want. read more

A hole in the wall place for momos which exceeds all expectations without breaking the bank!

Super tasty and such a reasonable price! Thank you for keeping your prices low Loga!

As someone who is a huge fan of tasty & affordable take-out, I don't know how it took me 2 years of living in Parkdale before trying Loga's. Call me a new convert though! I was in and out in a time comparable to a fast food joint, but with 10 delicious fried beef momos for $8 instead of some greasy generic burger/etc. And the hot sauce! As everyone before me has stated, the stuff is killer - but flavourful enough that you'll enjoy every almost-painful bite. I will absolutely be back, and hopefully with friends. This neighborhood gem is worth showing off! read more

Loga's Corner - 9 fried beef momos (I ate one before the photo, no regrets) with hot sauce, packaged up for take-away. - Himalayan/Nepalese Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Very excited to give Loga's Corner my first Yelp review! Loga is a very kind man and he remembers every customer who walks into the door. I've been here now for two years and he always greets me with a smile and a handshake. I always order the fried or steamed momos, and they never disappoint. The food is comforting, cheap and is made fresh every single day! read more

My dining companion and I enjoyed two plates of delicious beef momos this weekend, from the Take Out section of the unit, which has a few simple tables and lots of bright light. These juicy dumplings are native to Tibet and Nepal. The meat is juicy, seasoned well, and scented with cumin and sweet green and yellow onions. The bright orange hot sauce is spicy and does the trick with a drizzle of soya sauce. In my opinion, this is the perfect kind of simple, comfort-food style spot with no frills. But if you are looking for atmosphere, I suggest you call ahead to order take-out and bring it home. The owner is friendly and kind. His menu is brief and he does what he does well. Nice addition to the Parkdale scene. - Details: Order of 10 large beef momos was $6. Quite full after a plate each. He also mentioned he had chicken and lamb, but best to order ahead as beef is the standard. Unknown: To the right side of the property was this aforementioned take out section (with about 2 small tables), but it appears there may be more seating next door on the left. Will have to check it out and confirm. read more

Loga's Corner - 10 delicious momos with a side of hot sauce - Himalayan/Nepalese Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Really nondescript tiny restaurant located next to a school that I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't actively looking for it. The owner (I think?) was out front having a smoke break but immediately followed us in the moment he saw us and was extremely helpful and friendly. We got an order of the steamed beef momos and chicken momos to go. Everything was stacked in takeout containers, so we were out the door in minutes. Each order comes with around 10-12 dumplings, piping hot wrapped in tin foil inside the styrofoam box. The doughy wrapper of the dumpling is on the thicker side, but it goes well with the amount of stuffing in each one. The filling itself is well seasoned and flavorful, but kinda dry which is where the hot sauce steps in to add moisture. Unfortunately, the hot sauce was too spicy for me, but would have gone really well with the dumplings if I could have stood the spice. Also ordered the butter tea, which is something completely new for me. It looks like tea, but tastes like super-rich savory chicken soup. That is the closest comparison I could think of to describe the unique taste. Definitely will be back to try the other dumplings choices. read more

Tried the beef momos fried this time, highly recommend! Beef noodle soup, delicious! Best hot sauce in town! But I'd suggest ordering a mango lassi to tame the flame, haha! Thanks loga's corner! I'll be back! Ps: If you are dining in make sure to check out the contents of the red and yellow bottles! They aren't mustard and ketchup, haha. read more

Just found this place closely and decided to stop in last minute. My favourite dumplings were the fried chicken mo mos. The mango lassi was so intensely good I wanted another one!!! Only reason why I'm not giving full 5 stars, the steamed beef in the dumplings were a bit hard for my taste. Other than that, I would come back! read more

I did read the online reviews before choosing to come here. It's a small place I believe out of an old house. It's not fancy but then again, the best places food wise is not fancy. lol. You have to order at the counter and they you can bring it to your table. There's lots of tables to choose from. It's family owned and it felt like some of the family members were there when we came. The food was good and hot. And it came out fast as I believe all the momo's were previously prepared and they just steam it / fry it when it's ordered. The steamed ones may had already been prepared as we got this handed to us right away with little wait. The fried ones were really good and crispy. I would definitely order fried again. The price was great for the amount of food that you get. The person at the counter which I'm guessing is the owner is really nice and friendly. It was quiet when we got there but while we were eating. This HUGE group of people came in. I guess they operated a running event that meets up there. Anyways there was people standing all around us. A bit awkward while we were eating. But they didn't stay too long as they were just grouping up here to go on their run. read more

Uncle is so nice. I tried all parkdales momos but these ones are epic. Even there veggie momos are so so temptingly

Im for one who loves dumplings, and i just wanted to marry and make babies with these momos. They were out of the fried momos the day i went, but the steamed ones also did the trick. The spicy slaw is dangerously addictive and great when paired with the mango lassi. Cant go wrong with beef, also had the veggies. Go with a crowd, order a big spread, leave happpy read more

Where do I begin.... first thing, momo is mediocre nothing special. I can say you can get better momos at Garleek and Tsampa cafe. The owner needs to learn customer service 101. He is not only racist but also treats Tibetan people ( his own kind) bad, which is wrong on so many levels. Needless to say I am a Tibetan and will never go to his shitty corner again. read more

Jumbo momos. All of us had their steamed beef momos. It was cheap and you get ten of them bad boys. Definitely worth the price. The dining area feels like a living room convert, but it doesn't matter you come here for the food anyways. Super friendly service. The owner was all like 'goodbye handsome' as we were leaving. Thanks. read more

I have had better!! It's a small restaurant with an even smaller menu. You get a lot of what wrt what you pay. I tried their chicken momos, were alright! Might go back to try their beef momos and when I go back this time it will be their last shot. read more

I am frankly not a fan of momos or dumplings, but their momos conquered me! I tried beef and chicken options, both are delicious. Each momo is perfectly molded, contains decent amount of meat and small portion of liquid broth inside. These components all together creates delicious composition of tastes in one bite. Love it! Will be back again many many times. read more

Delicious momos and excellent service. Grabbed some cooked momos and frozen momos to-go. The beef and veggie momos are the best imo, and their dipping sauce is so yummy. Also, the mango lahssi is tasty and refreshing. read more

Taste of momos extrapolating from the hottest one: 4.5 stars Overall experience by the end when they were just lukewarm: 2 stars It'd be a solid 4 or 5 stars if the momos were kept in a steamer or something so that they could really be served hot to people eating in. But they'd been sitting out for a bit and were kinda lukewarm by the end. Oh well. read more

Possibly the worst customer experience ever of my life. Went twice; both times the guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. On my second visit, I politely asked if he had bigger containers for my food. And his response "you can buy bigger ones yourself for $5!" I could go and on about his ill mannerisms but I'll stop here. Needless to say I'm never going back again! First time I've had a horrifying customer experience at a Tibetan place of business. This experience will probably stay with me for awhile. I'll make sure all my friends and family never visit this place. There are better places for momos, seriously! read more

Ever since I was in Nepal and Dharamshala (Tibetan influenced), I've fallen in love with momo's. Ever since I left, I've been wanting to find a place that serves yummy momo's. Thankfully I came across Loga's Corner!! Their momo's are delicious!!! SO good! Fast service, delicious momo's, and friendly staff! I got the vegetarian momo's and potato momo's. Personally, I liked the potato momo's the best. I also got them half steamed and half fried. I liked the fried the best. The guy who worked there was SUPER nice and super accommodating!! Since it wasn't crowded, he was able to do half steamed half fried. I really appreciated him doing that for us. I asked him if the free side dish was vegetarian. He wasn't sure so instead of him guessing or just telling me yes/no, he called his mom to verify. I really appreciated him doing that for me. It's not vegetarian so beware!! I highly recommend going here and trying their food! The food is reasonably priced (not expensive at all) and the food was delicious. The staff are wonderful!! 5+ stars !! read more

Loga's Corner - Vegetarian momo's. Half fried half steamed. I liked fried better. - Himalayan/Nepalese Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

THESE ARE THE BEST MOMO'S IN TORONTO!!! Unbiased review: I've been here more than 5x, and I absolutely love this place! I loved chilling in the cafe for hours with my friend, they have wifi, and it's actually pretty quiet at times so you can get some solid work done. The prices are dirt cheap for what they give, there's not many places in Toronto where you can get a full satisfying meal for such a small price! The momo's are absolutely delicious! I've tried beef and veggie and chicken, and omg the beef one's are a marvel. They are so moist and tender and juicy, so fresh, so spicy (you HAVE TO try them with their in-house spicy sauce) my mouth waters just thinking about them! I love samosa's and dumplings, but momo's are my chart-toppers. I've had momo's from other places, but no one makes them like Loga's Corner. This place is legit Tibet, the customer service is outstanding and reminiscent of home. I always get a homey vibe, the manager speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Tibetic, English, and God knows how many more languages. He's outgoing and friendly in all of them! I love the man, he always treats me like I'm his son! 6-Stars! Definitely would recommend, this place does not disappoint! read more

I haven't had too many momos in my day but I've tried a few places. I heard this place was one of the best but I was underwhelmed. I ordered the chicken momos, a potato ball and a mango lassi. Value wise, can't be beat. I thought the chicken momos were very doughy to be honest. The potato ball (which I would compare the filling to a samosa) was very good but cold and a tad soggy. Wish they would have warmed it up. The mango lassi was also pretty good. The service was friendly and fast. Glad I got to try it but I'm not in a hurry back. read more

Simply put... one of the best dumplings you'll ever have. Almost every cuisine in the world has a dumpling- it's a fundamental comfort food. Such a hidden gem! You have to try everything on their menu, AND their hot sauce. It's their special hot sauce made in house and it's super spicy but amazingly delicious. Another Toronto gem I discovered a little late but not too late! A small, no-frills spot for some great, simple and satisfying momos. I tried the steamed beef and steamed chicken momos and loved them both! They were fresh, steaming hot and the filling was well cooked. Served with a side of their famous hot sauce, garlic hot sauce and pickled radish! The owner is humble, honest and kind and gave me some mango lassi to try on the side. Oh boy! I need to ask them where they get their mangoes from because the mangoes I buy from the grocery stores do not taste half as authentic, fresh and sweet as the mango they used (and I know my mangoes since I'm from Pakistan). Overall great place with great prices! read more

So good! They not only sell you momos (and have a lot ready so it's quick) but also they have frozen ones so you can bring them home and eat them when you need your momo fix and aren't near Parkdale. The family that works there are SO sweet though, and it's worth the trek. The momos are delicious and the lassi is good, too. It's a sweet, nofrills kinda spoty and it's great. read more

The worst momo I ever had in my life.i will never recommend anyone to Loga's Corner momo..very much disappointed .

My friend and I have now been 4 or 5 times and it's always been a good experience... it lives up to the reviews. The service is excellent -- the owner is such a nice guy and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into it. He double checked with us to ensure our order was accurate and he was very courteous. The prices are pretty good. The fact they have tax included already makes it even better, especially as they are all whole numbers. My friend and I had 4 rounds of momo (2 fried, 2 steamed) and 2 cans of iced tea and paid $32 total which is decent for what you get. The taste is very good, both steamed and fried. The beef, chicken, and potato momo are great. The veggie, I didn't like. The fillings overall had some nice taste and a very pleasant overall array of herbs used. Steamed, it has a nice soft feel and is quite enjoyable. Fried gives it a great crisp and solid change in flavour. Each momo is a good size. It could be a bit cheaper perhaps, but overall it is a solid place to grab some yummy grub. Be careful of the hot sauce... it's not for the faint of heart! read more
