Also, with rare exception, all the onboard movies were excessively old, with the exception of 'Deadpool 2'. We didn't realize there was no complimentary food until we were on board, but as our flight was 3 hours late, it didn't matter for us as we are before hand. So be prepared to bring all your own food or par for it on board. Unfortunately we landed 4 hours late in Iceland, on probably one of the longest days with heavy winds (24 hours of winds (30-60 MPH) in Iceland, so that plane left even later. So we ended up arriving at our final destination over 8 hours late and missed a day of activities. That said I'd rather arrive late and safe rather than not at all, but the staff of Icelandic Air did a poor to non-existent job of communicating to us. That was why I dinged them them. The price was nice so know what you are and are not paying for.

My partner has recently gone blind where he is blind in one full eye and half in the right eye and is still trying to face his daily routine and get around using his blind stick. We both want to thank the guys that are around the busses before departure offering to help him on the bus as we were ready to head back to Edinburgh and another guy saving us a seat on the lower ground as the bus was quite busy.
