Firstly the attitude of the call staff is despicable! You wouldn't speak to ppl in the street like that so don't do it over a phone! Don't forget the customers pay your wages which keeps you in a call centre job! The app is useless, they don't accept your booking until the time you have requested the cab for meaning it's never on time! It's now £4.90 just to open the door of the cab, prices are shocking a taxi is now a luxury! Also customers are not phsycic, we don't know you are *busy* (hopefully not for long) and they just shout down the phone and hang up & don't even let you speak! Rude, unprofessional and extortionate! Somebody please jump on this opportunity and start another cab company, I promise your business will be booming! read more

Very unreliable. asked for a taxi this morning to go to Glasgow. apparently 5 cars accepted the job then immediately cancelled. says a lot when I eventually had to go by train. was very late but got there. too busy just now to check if I have been charged. will continue review when I have a look. Booked a cab more than an hour in advance. Phoned twice after booking time passed. Only explanation was 'very busy'. What is the actual point in booking ahead if they do not turn up?! Currently have walked for half an hour just to find a bus stop as have to get home for baby sitter. Now waiting and hoping a bus will turn up in the next 20 mins. Had to walk 2 different underpasss to get to bus stop. Glad we were not stabbed on the way. If no bus then at least anmother hour 10 mins walk to get close to home. I phoned for a taxi when the taxi rang I went outside, hadn't turned up so I phoned to see what had happened she said because I hadn't answered the phone they didn't know if I still wanted it and had to cancel it as apparently they are so busy today what an attitude to have, I spend about £60 a week if not more on this company, well not anymore. This taxi company is a joke They took money from my bank and then told me that I needed to pay by cash They didn't proceed to give a refund either a customer care service to explaine what happened. They didn't do anything to explain just "it's preauthorized sand it is what it is" , OK the first payment is pre authorization for the bank, but not the second at the end of the drive!! Getting a taxi on Friday and Saturday night is impossible. Drivers do not take their booked fares but pick up randoms from the street and cancel or ignore the actual fares. Extremely unprofessional, rude and dishonest call centre staff. read more

This company is a joke. They never come on time. I have pre-booked a taxi for a school pick up for my daughter and each time they were late. Finally the driver arrived at 8:57, so my daughter needed to ask neighbour to drive her. Company still charged me for that and said they will not refund this money because the taxi was there! 30 minutes too late! it is a disgrace and not a customer service. learn how to do it first and do not they bookings if you do not have people to run them. money diggers. read more

I tried to book a cab on their website and, after having paid for the job, their website didn't confirm the booking but the money has been taken from my card regardless of that. I've phoned the number on their website and the person I spoke with was very unhelpful, and they even said to me that they didn't receive any money from me. I've then tried to contact them through their website, but they never answered to me. This is ridiculous and very dishonest. I want my money back. read more

You can call them and arrange for a ride to the airport at 6:30 in the morning and know they are going to be there early, help you with your luggage and get you there for around 6 pounds. Perfect. read more

Absolutely terrible!!! I'm done with Renfrewshire Cabs! Knowing that it can be a struggle to get a taxi in the morning the last few times I have booked the night before thinking this would guarantee me a taxi for that time. Every time I book in advance no taxi arrives when it is due, resulting in me phoning and chasing up - then the taxi would arrive usually 30-60 minutes after it was due. Once again, last night I had booked a taxi in advance for this morning. I then phoned Renfrewshire Cabs this morning 30 minutes before the taxi was due, just to double check that a cab would definitely arrive, and was assured it would. Guess what? Yet again no taxi arrived at the due time - resulting in me phoning them only to be told that they are still trying to find me a cab and that booking a taxi does not guarantee me a cab!!!!! What the hell??? What kind of a shambolic company would allow a customer to book in advance and then not guarantee them a taxi? This is crazy! Fair enough if this was a one off glitch, but this has happened three times in a row. After waiting a while longer and still no taxi I had no option other than to cancel my booking and take my car to the city center instead so that I didn't miss train, resulting in having to pay extortionate car parking fees. My views are that Renfrewshire Cabs appear to have the monopoly in my area as there are no other options such as Uber which is a shame, so they kind of have you over a barrel when it comes to taxis. read more

Taxi drivers never come on time. Some taxi drivers had a horrible attitude towards me especially when I asked if they could start coming on time as I never make my bus because of their poor time management. I usually book a taxi AT LEAST 5 hours before and they still come late each time. They also took more money out my account than excepted. Horrible company honestly. read more

if i could give one star i would. booked a taxi for 8.45 no apology given when taxi was late spoke to operators twice and rude and just unhelpful. made me miss an appointment because pre booked actually just means whenever they get round to you. if you can't keep up with demand take the app offline and stop letting people down. joke of a company. read more

Used these guys a couple of times with no issues, but then booked an early morning airport taxi. They failed to show up, so I called them and they said they were on way. The driver basically could not find our house (we live on an estate, not in the sticks) and rather than call us, drove round in circles for about half an hour and then they just cancelled our booking. I could see all this happening on their jazzy app. Called Braehead Radio Cars instead and they were with us within 5 minutes - great service. Would not use Renfrewshire Cab Co again as they are simply not to be trusted to turn up! read more

Absolutly terrible service booked a taxi and said it was two minutes away . We were waiting outside for fifteen minutes and on the app it said it was cancled ! Taxi driver probably picked up some other person and fucked off then I'm the one gettin abuse because i say and waited the company is an absolute joke and they need to get their system sorted will not be phoning Renfrewshire cabs again would rather walk home than speak to their rude staff ! read more
