Saw a quiet place day one here! Fantastic little theater with a bar and food!! Extremely well priced for the area!! Seats don't recline but that helped give it the vintage feel! I would go back in a heartbeat!

I love the Logan Theater! It is so great that this cute theater is right off the blue line. It is clean, affordable, and has a decent amount of films and showtimes. We prefer going here over any of the other large chain theaters in the city. 10/10 recommend!

Classic, old school theater but with working modern amenities. Looks like a great line up of trivia, cult classic films and themes...along with new releases. We saw The Whale (definitely worth a watch - 2023 is the year of Brenden Frazier and I am here for it). Sound was good, seats were comfortable, screen quality was good. We didnt partake, but looks to have a full far and quick turbo chef menu. Would for sure come again - maybe not for a summer blockbuster, but Kevin Smith film or indie release for sure.

Having recently moved to Chicago I was excited to learn about this small local theater within walking distance from my house. I love supporting smaller venues and Logan Theater did not disappoint. We walked right up and purchased our tickets, we were greeted by all staff with smiles and warmth. The small concession area was well staffed and the popcorn was hot and buttery. The actual theater was small and intimate but we did not feel at all uncomfortable. It was spacious enough without being overwhelming. I loved how cozy it was. The movie was shown on the big bright screen and the sound was good. We will be back.

Very nice theater in a cool neighborhood. This theater is about 2 miles away from where we live and while it is not the closest theater it is the one that gave us the most charm. We went to watch venom 2 at the theater. We decided To go before Everyone got off of work and beat the rush crowd.. For our benefit there was only about a only about a dozen people in the theater, which is nice during covid, but I know also a struggle for the theater superior what is real cool about the theater is that they have a lot of old charm and theatrical artwork 2 enjoy. The perks of the theater is it has a full bar, lounge area, concession stand. You're able to get the items that you traditionally love at the movies hot buttered popcorn large, large soda or slushy; but you're also able to grab a adult beverage if wanted. The theater itself is small, I don't believe it has more than 6 screens. The screams were of decent size but not super large like a imax. I thought the quality of the sound and the specs of the screen were warfarely good. The seats the seats are leather but they do not lounge lounge and they do have cup holders. There is plenty of paid parking nearby. I love how you can catch a matinee for less than $8 then go have happy hour at a nearby bar. Definitely we'll go see most of my movies this Winter at Logan theater.

Finally we can go watch movies again! Instead of patronizing one of the chain theaters and their $20 tickets, we decided to go here. We were NOT disappointed! The place was SOO CUTE! This place is straight out of a movie itself and clearly has so much history! I've driven past it for years and for some reason never gone in. That was a MISTAKE! The service was friendly and helpful at the bar. And since they allowed us to bring their plastic cups into the auditorium, it was a convenient way to have a few drinks and watch a movie. The prices were decent for a theater and far from the $15-20 drinks at the DT dine-ins. The auditorium itself was small and cozy yet the seats were surprisingly comfortable! We will DEFINITELY be visiting this place again soon. Anytime I want to see a movie out, I will come here with my money.

The Logan Theatre is an incredible gem, not just for Logan Square, but for the entire state. The more than century-old theatre shows both new, first-run and classic movies. In my short time as a Chicago resident, I've seen "Bros" and "Halloween Ends" here. Comfortable leather seats? Check. Sleek cocktail bar/lounge? Check. Art deco design? Check. New sound equipment and lighting? Check and check. Staff are always incredibly helpful and welcoming!

Visited the Logan Theatre on the Sunday before Halloween to watch "Smiling" and let me tell you I absolutely will be back. As soon as I walked through the entrance I was flooded with nostalgia from childhood days. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the concession food was decently priced. I'm not too keen on movie theater food, but let me tell you the pizza was actually good. They have a bar with a lounge area where they have open mic nights which is pretty neat. The seating area inside the theater was comfortable, they have updated seats. None of that old school seating from back in the day. Support this place, it's a classic. Perfect spot for a date.

the logan theatre is truly what the music box wishes it could be, but could never be! after my horribly embarrassing experience at mb last year, i never thought i would come to one of these old-timey music theaters again. mb spit in the face of a noir classic, so let's just say i had doubts about all these old theaters. (see my review of mb for more info) the logan theater is a vast improvement! it's everything you'd hope for from a theatre like this. nice management, comfy seats, a screen that towers in front of you demanding your attention. today i came here for "three thousand years of longing" and it's been a while since my last visit to this theater. i forgot how charming as all hell this place was. i'll definitely be back soon even though it's quite a ways away from home. walk to miko's italian ice for a treat or have dinner at andros taverna while you're at it.

This is an awesome neighborhood gem. I love old school type of theaters and this one doesn't disappoint. In addition to showing the latest movies they can be rented for events, they host open mics and other special events and do special viewings of old musicals and other special movies. They also have food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages that you can enjoy in different rooms all around the theatre. It's a great place to take in the history of Chicago.

We saw a good movie there however the previews were very loud and very violent. Nice theater otherwise. Street parking only.

And they have just expanded the historic building to include a third theater, not to mention the garden behind the Lounge where we have seen a couple of films. It's always a treat when a show in Theater 1is preceded by organ music by Dennis Scott; he generally themes the music to the movie (ex: when we saw "Contempt" this weekend he said all the songs he played were from the year the film came out). They show everything: action, romance, foreign films, cult classics like "Rocky Horror," thrillers and suspense, indie films, documentaries, animation. Every Valentine's Day they show "The Princess Bride," and they do series like "Metal Movie Night," "Cat Video Fest," and "Sapphopalooza." The building itself is reason to go, particularly since it has been restored and new chairs were put into Theater 1 a couple of years ago. We have been in both Theaters 2&3 now since that more recent renovation and they also look beautiful and are very comfortable. Check out a movie and a piece of Chicago history at the same time!

The theater I went to was very clean and the reclining chair was warm and comfortable. Wait staff was courteous. I ordered my ticket online on their website and there were no problems with it. I loved that I could order a tall glass of water. THANK YOU for that. I haven't been to many places that just offer water that isn't in a plastic bottle. Viewers were very respectful. The theater was dead quiet through the whole movie and everyone followed the rules. Good vibe, good crowd. Good size screen and good arrangement. I can't wait to come back. I might even be back tomorrow. Best cinema experience I've had, and the best viewing crowd I've been in too. A tip for when you're ordering: When the movie started, it was too dark in the theater to scan the QR code again. Thankfully I could get the tab screen back up. Do not close your browser window on your phone so you can go back to it if you want to order more!

Food would show up cold, wrong, late and the staff became helpless to fix the problem. Then they got rid of the servers, replaced them with runners and a QR code, and as far as I can tell you can't even get a refill anymore. They try really hard to force a 20% tip out of you for this single visit to your table. Now the food is unappetizing mush rather than typical bar food. I think I'm done. I'd literally rather go to one of the big chain theaters than pay double for cold fries and a meal that's still frozen in the center.
