My first appointment , came in 10 minutes early and immediately taken back! all of the employees are welcoming & lots of help. great atmosphere. nails came out great! the only thing i would note, i do wish the heart was free handed but it still came out lovely! the prices here are great, i will definitely be back!
I went to this location for a pedicure. I did not have an appointment and was able get in and start my service without waiting. The person doing my service was very gentle and made sure it was a relaxing experience. There was four tiers of pedicures and I thought the prices were reasonable. They had a good color selection and the salon was clean. It was posted that while cash is preferred, other payment methods such as Zelle are available.
i have been a loyal customer for the last 2 years and i've had it- i'm done. the last two times were trash. last month i had an appointment and when i arrive 10 minutes early, no one spoke to me and then tried to push me off and soak my natural nails. i had read reviews before and knew they were gonna keep me there forever. but instead of honestly or simple appointment taking, he wanted to make me wait an hour+ for my artist (who had i had an appointment with) because he assigned a walk in acrylic french moments before i arrived. Maria even rolled her eyes at him; she gets it. just because you took a walk-in doesn't mean i have to waste my day waiting around. i walked out. and was chill. no harm. a month later, i came back Friday, FRIDAY (4 days ago) and 4 nails already chipped badly. i arrived perfectly on time for my appointment, cause why be early when they have no consideration for anyone else's time. wanted to make a point about last month being early and getting stiffed. anyway, this time i waited 12 minutes past my appointment time w Maria. about half way through he took a walk in pedicure, and was breathing down her neck to get me done and that no apt pedicure underway. no top coat for me, no condition oil for my cuticles. NO LOTION EVEN!!! wth? the man talking working the phone/ door needs to learn to do some damn nails and quit taking anyone that walks in. service sucks, and you lost me as a loyal service industry customer. i tip well. and that's why maria rolled her eyes at him when i walked out last month. the man has no decorum.
I've been coming to LS Nail Salon religiously for the last 3 years (!) but have decided to officially try other places instead. Recent events have pushed me over the edge. This salon is a no-frills type of place and I knew that and respected it for what it was. They are not the most hygienic, but my nails would always last me at least 4 weeks and be absolutely perfect, and because of that I was able to compromise on cleanliness. However, recently I've been really frustrated with several things. First, their efficiency is awful. I have spent a good 2.5 hours here JUST for a no-chip manicure. I am constantly waiting on a technician, especially since only Jennifer and David do designs. It's not respectful of anyone's time. They rarely turn away walk-ins even when they're completely booked, which hurts regular clients like me. Next, I have not been going to ANY other nail salons and noticed I got a fungal toenail infection (onychomycosis) after a recent pedicure. It was absolutely vile. I had to contact my primary care doctor about it to be advised on next steps and even had my entire nail fall off. Absolutely not. The third reason I don't want to come back is because of how poorly the staff are treated. I was most recently getting my nails done with Jennifer who kept repeating that she needed to pick up her kid from school and was constantly picking up the phone to talk to someone. Instead of letting her go take care of things, they pushed her to do my nails first, which she ended up rushing through and messing up one of my nails as a result. Because the nail had to be re-buffed, it was super thin and broke very quickly after I left. Again, incredibly frustrating and a waste of my time to stay an extra 20 minutes to fix a problem that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Until these issues are resolved, I won't be coming back.
A really great pedicure ! I wish the woman doing my toes was just a little bit more gentle. I had to move my foot away twice from all the filing on my big toe. And at times she pinched my toe as she was painting. I was offered a deluxe pedicure but I wanted just a regular one. The deluxe seems a long amount of time and wrk and I wanted something quick and easy. Thank you again !
I've never had such a painful gel manicure. 4/5 cuticles on my left hand started to bleed. It took forever and they clearly were rushing or something or didn't know how to properly soften the cuticles? I got dizzy from the pain I was experiencing. They were accommodating then which I appreciated. But still very bizarre didn't seem too sorry. Will not be returning.
Linda always understands the assignment my nail artist is so friendly and did her best to get the nail shape and color exactly like my inspo photo. my favorite nail salon in chicago!!
Linda does my nails!! So cute everytime!! Showed her a picture of what I wanted! Turned out great
Linda ALWAYS Does My Eyebrows. I've Been Going To Her Since 2014 & I Don't Go To Anybody Else. I Love Her Work She Is Super Gentle And Consistent And Good At What She Does.
Loved my fall gel x by Linda! It was super quick and good quality work. They accept walk ins as well which is awesome
Three of my nail beds look like this with multiple painful cuts. I asked my nail tech THREE different times to be more gentle because she was hurting me and I was bleeding. . She insisted she'd be go slower, but nothing changed. I have never had a nail tech be so aggressive while getting a routine manicure.

My first appointment here was great. I was taken on time and Linda replicated the picture I showed her fairly well. However, when I made a second appt with her, I waited around for 30-40 mins while she wasn't even doing someone else's nails? I kept just seeing her walk around. Finally, Maria approached me to do my nails. While she initially did a great job with the shape, color, and was very gentle (a rarity for me), two of my nails came off within 2 weeks, which is premature for me as my nails always last 3+ weeks. So I made an appt with Jennifer online. I get to the salon and wait around for 20-30 mins only for them to tell me she left early? They have my number and have texted me in the past so they should have told me in advance when she left. So I scheduled an appt with Jennifer for the following day. They texted me an hour prior to my scheduled EVENING appt to tell me Jennifer didn't come in for the day. Don't go here if you value your time. read more

My dip manicure was bad. Nicked bleeding cuticles and dip cured outside of my nail beds. I've had good and bad experiences at this salon. I stopped going back but decided to try them out again yesterday. I had a gel pedicure and dip manicure scheduled at 2:15 that didn't start until 2:45. I was there until almost 4:30. The pedicure turned out alright. The manicure was a huge disappointment. She nicked my cuticles causing a few of them to bleed. The dip is chunky and was cured with dip outside of my nails beds. I asked her to file them down more which helped a bit with the chunky-ness. There are also issues with texture. This is really sad because I got them for an event and they don't look nice. With a bill of about $100, I'd expect more. Sadly, I won't be back. read more

I have been a client at Logan Square Nail Salon for over a year now and love them for SO many reasons. Their receptionist is always welcoming and accommodating - and brings me wine so that's an obvious win. They have a good selection of nail colors and always have the latest OPI collection (featured in my pic!) Services are top notch- I regularly get a no-chip & pedi. I've seen Tommy and another girls.. love every one of them. My most recent no chip literally lasted 4 weeks. I usually never go that long but with a 4 month old + COVID I very strategically choose when I'm leaving the house. What I appreciate so much and had to leave a review for was their response to COVID. I've been in 3 times since their re-open. The facility is so clean and staff pays attention to detail when sanitizing. This placed used to be wall to wall SLAMMED before COVID and although they are still busy it's obvious they have cut down their staff members to keep capacity controlled. They also have plexiglass at every manicure station which is the only reason I'm back to getting manis. Thank you guys for altering your business to keep your clients happy & safe, you're doing an amazing job! read more

I've been coming here about once a month since they reopened during the pandemic. I live nearby and they're always willing to accommodate same day appointments, despite the fact that I always get a dip or acrylic set which I know they have a limited number of techs for. Every time I've been here, I've been assisted right away. I usually have a removal done too which they've never charged me for. I've seen at least 3 different nail techs here and they've all done an amazing job! When I've asked for various designs, they've pulled them off without hesitation. My nails always last for about 4 weeks. They do a phenomenal job. The receptionist is always so sweet too. Overall, I'm thrilled to call this my go-to nail salon & wish I would have started frequenting them sooner. read more

I walked in around 5:30. I asked for requested acrylic thick French tip with a pearl effect. Maria was my tech. She didn't understand the pearl technique I asked for so I told her just white is fine and I totally think it was the best choice anyways!! I was leaving the salon before 7 pm and that was after having to wait 15-20 minutes. Maria was great! She was fast but made sure the shape was what I wanted and the thickness was what I wanted. She started to make them a true thin French and made sure she got it right before she continued to the rest of my nails. Hand painted thick French tips! Will definitely return! read more

I came here based on the reviews. My nail tech started off really well. When she started doing my dip is when it went bad. She kept telling me that I was bumping my fingers messing up the dip but it was her who kept bumping my finger when she was putting the other finger in the dip powder. She did not base powder which was I told not all colors need that. I've been getting dip powder for over 2 years now and never have not gotten base powder. She did four coats of dipping powder and then put top coat on. She took over an hour just putting the dip on itself. I went up to the front to pay and the man asked how it was. I showed him my nails and I have no idea what the first nail tech did but my nails had white streaks everywhere. He told me to sit in the first chair. I'm not exactly sure if she was the owner but I really thought she was going to fix my nails. She buffed down the thickness of the dip and put one more layer on. From afar it looked like she was fixing them. When she was finished I looked at my nails and there were white spots everywhere on my nails. I really wished she just redid the whole dip because I really think my review would be completely different. read more

I used to come here often when I lived in Logan square. I decided to come back since I was in the area. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the price and the owners are nice. The technician I had was nice but trained poorly. My nails have bubbles in the polish and the finish is poor. I would have rather done my nails at home. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year now and I love it. Never disappointed in my dip manicure, no matter who the nail technician is! Today, I had Linda. I came in with a picture for inspo and asked if she could possibly make it happen with dip. She sure did and I love them! Great price and location. Highly recommend. read more

Everything during my visit was great. They were all so sweet and friendly from the moment I arrived. I called ahead about an hour to make sure they could get me in - always busy and for good reason! They have a TON of colors to choose from and can do almost any type of nail art you can think of! I saw multiple women showing pictures on their phones of what they wanted, and they ended up very happy with their nails. Can't wait to go back for my next dip powder mani Jon (sp?) is a perfectionist and that's what I like when it comes to nails. She was quick, efficient and they look perfectly beautiful thank you! read more

worst nail salon experience of my life. i made an appointment for 12:30 to get three broken acrylics removed and replaced with acrylics and gel. they were so overbooked and kept allowing more and more people to enter the salon to the point that i was seeing nail techs trying to work on 3 people at a time. they buffed the top of my broken gel acrylics and let me sit for 45 minutes in a bowl of acetone before anyone even checked on me. it does NOT take that long to dissolve. after an hour and 20 minutes of being ignored and the nail tech utterly destroying my natural nails, i was left for another 25 minutes before getting up and leaving myself. here's their work. read more
