I have never been into Ogden before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I grew up in Tucson however…read moreso I was kind of imagining something similar out of their airport but on a much smaller scale. I was close, but try a much, much, much smaller scale. I flew in through Allegiant Air direct from Williams Gateway in Mesa, AZ. It was a quick flight which I slept through most of so I didn't know we were there until the tires hit the runway. Then the door to back ofthe plane opened which isn't a unique experience, but not exactly what you normally expect either. From there we were directed down a set of stairs brought to the plane and across the tarmac. The last time I actually had to walk across an airport runway to get into the terminal was when I was in Hawaii a few years ago, and I fly a lot, so it was worth noting. The airport has only one terminal as I guess most people fly out of SLC. Getting through TSA was easy enough which makes sense because it's not often angry members of the Church of LDS try to hijack a plane. As long as they don't run out of Mormon Muffins I think anybody flying out of Ogden should be okay. There are only two restrooms in the terminal and two in the main lobby which are down a flight of stairs that inspired the chase music from a Friday the 13th movie to play in my head as I descended them. The men's room was clean, but not something I would want a kid to go into alone. There was just something creepy about it. The airport could fit inside of a Sprouts Market with plenty of room left over. It closes at night, as they only run a few airlines out of there I think, but for convenience it's super quick to get in and out of and I had no complaints.

Visited Logan Burgers in the two-outlet 'food court' of a post-80s Stranger Things hellscape just…read morebecause it had high Yelp reviews. And come to find out the 'ordering screen' is plastered with various other local 'best burger' finalist awards. But for me it fell a little flat. Literally. The patty was thin and flat. The bun toasted yet flat. One small tomato slice. Pastrami was decent but also thin. Flat. The friendly woman at the counter (one of the owners) ALMOST made this a 4-star stop on her very own. If a Salt Lake-like Apollo Burger or Crown Burger in Cache Valley is your thing, you can get a Pastrami Burger at the same place as a Gyro Combo Plate. But hey, if you want them at the same time they'll do a Greek Burger combo (gyro meat and its toppings on a burger) for $12. Decent fries. Utah fry sauce. Logan Burger has overall fair prices and was reasonably busy (four tables worth) for a Saturday lunch in a dead/dying mall, so YMMV. Yet even with the 'Greek' on the menu you only get sad American cheese. For my wife's Mushroom and Swiss getting slathered with overly-melted white plastic cheese as a 'Swiss cheese' stand-in -- when there is tasty Swiss cheese made just down the road at the Gossner factory -- means that Logan Burger was never gonna exceed three stars, unfortunately.

I highly recommend Logan Smiles to anyone needing a dentist in Logan or the surrounding area. The…read morebiggest reason I continue to recommend them is that they are very honest and focused on the patient's actual needs. I have had dentists in the past who always seemed to be wanting to sell me something. At Logan Smiles they tell you what is really going on and don't try to push additional services. I can feel confident if they tell me something is wrong then it is really wrong and not just a sales ploy. I also think the teeth cleanings are very well done and pain free. Also, they seem to keep up with the latest trends in dentistry which I appreciate. I had just read about the lead apron now being found to cause more harm then good. And lo and behold when I had my xray they did not use the apron. Overall a great dentist and the first one I have used that I feel entirely comfortable with.

We've tried many different sandwiches and each seems like the best. The owner is very friendly and fun. He likes to tell stories and listen to customers talk.
