I have never been into Ogden before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I grew up in Tucson however…read moreso I was kind of imagining something similar out of their airport but on a much smaller scale. I was close, but try a much, much, much smaller scale. I flew in through Allegiant Air direct from Williams Gateway in Mesa, AZ. It was a quick flight which I slept through most of so I didn't know we were there until the tires hit the runway. Then the door to back ofthe plane opened which isn't a unique experience, but not exactly what you normally expect either. From there we were directed down a set of stairs brought to the plane and across the tarmac. The last time I actually had to walk across an airport runway to get into the terminal was when I was in Hawaii a few years ago, and I fly a lot, so it was worth noting. The airport has only one terminal as I guess most people fly out of SLC. Getting through TSA was easy enough which makes sense because it's not often angry members of the Church of LDS try to hijack a plane. As long as they don't run out of Mormon Muffins I think anybody flying out of Ogden should be okay. There are only two restrooms in the terminal and two in the main lobby which are down a flight of stairs that inspired the chase music from a Friday the 13th movie to play in my head as I descended them. The men's room was clean, but not something I would want a kid to go into alone. There was just something creepy about it. The airport could fit inside of a Sprouts Market with plenty of room left over. It closes at night, as they only run a few airlines out of there I think, but for convenience it's super quick to get in and out of and I had no complaints.

There was another plane there and we had to wait at least 45 minutes. If you are going to be an airport then have more than 1 ramp to disembark!!! Poor!!

Amazing Day. Booked a Grand Canyon South Rim tour with Utah…read moreAirways. 30 minute easy drive from downtown Salt Lake City to the Ogden Airport. We were met by David and Bret the pilots and owners. As the weather conditions weren't great they said the flight might be bumpy and viewing condition less than optimal with clouds and rain. They offered to reschedule but assured us flying conditions were safe. We decided to go ahead and boarded their 5 passenger twin engine Piper (with enlarged windows) with 3 other guests. The flight was only a little bumpy and much of the scenery below obstructed by clouds. As we approached Bryce Canyon National Park the clouds began to part and by the time we reached the South Rim of the Grand Canyon the skies cleared. We were met at the airport by our Canyon guide and his open pink Jeep. He took us to an amazing overlook and produced our box lunches as we took in first impressions of the Canyon. No words would be adequate. It must be seen. Unbelievable! After lunch we spent the next 3 hrs seeing and learning about the Grand Canyon and the National Park. Our pilot David accompanied us on the tour. Each time the guide asked do we have time for another special site, he looked at David, David looked at us and we kept going. The flight back to Ogden was easy and the sunset over the Great Salt lake was spectacular. David and Bret were complete professionals. Their primary concerns were safety, our comfort and our enjoyment. We cannot recommend them, Utah Airways and their South Rim Grand Canyon tour enough. A day we will never forget.

Plane never turned up as they forgot to send it, passengers peeved off as the staff were rude and not willing to correct their error. Blamed a computer error however very dismissive of customers / rude. Couldn't care they had left passengers stranded, Not to be trusted, terrible service, zero customer care and service. Worst airline experience i ve ever had. The company is a disgrace

Seriously, no one thought that maybe it would be smart to only have one stop called North Temple? What kind of incompetent fools planned this piece of crap? Also, it should be obvious (although I'm sure it's not to the bureaucrats at UTA), but the terminals for buying tickets are clunky, dysfunctional, and extremely unintuitive. The touchscreen is apparently from 1990 with a sweet 4-second lag time. Want your terminals to be damaged from people punching them in frustration? Then you're in the right place. Say you want to catch the Frontrunner from the airport down to Utah county... Good luck magically knowing that you need a Frontrunner ticket starting at the North Temple station (oh, and that's the North Temple *Bridge* station of course, not the 1940 North Temple station). I still have no clue if I'm also supposed to pay for a Trax ticket from the airport to North Temple (again, obviously not the non-bridge North Temple, as that wouldn't transfer you anywhere). The Trax train very conveniently doesn't say 704 anywhere on it, just "GRN" (which obviously means green?) despite Google and the UTA trip planner giving the number 704. But rest assured, that number is just there to help confuse you, since you wont be able to find it anywhere. I've travelled around the world and the UTA transportation here wins for the most retarded piece of crap I've ever seen. Don't waste your time. It's not worth the hassle of trying to figure out UTA's nonsense, as the concept of usability in a mass transit system never crossed their mind.

Friendly bus drivers especially for the 620 in roy to ogden plus frontrunner is super convenient.read more
