As a proud owner of TWO Buywithme's for this place, I finally made it out to Loft 266. This is the first time I've ever had trouble finding something while still knowing exactly where it is. First, I had to figure out where to park (on the street, or there's a lot behind the building, but you have to circle around Blue Jean's pizza to get to it) then I had to figure out exactly how to get to the Loft. I walked around to the front, to see a sign labeled "Wheelchair entrance only" and an arrow pointing to a main entrance to I walked into what felt like an office building (where you'd visit your lawyer or your accountant or maybe a physician, but not a bar) and then stepped through a door. NOT Loft. I asked the hostess of the restaurant I walked into where Loft was and she kindly smiles and said "upstairs." Upstairs, okay. Suggestion: A SIGN directing people where to go. Tell us which door to enter (from the outside you'd never guess it was the way to a bar) and then tell us where to go (since once inside you'd STILL never guess it was the way to a bar). So upstairs I head for my appointment with my CPA... I mean, to Loft 266 and when I enter I'm surprised to find that either nobody is going to Loft 266, or nobody else could find it when they tried. In other words, the joint was empty. It was the bartender, me, another bartender that was just hanging out at the bar, and one other patron. This was 7pm on a Thursday. That's fairly prime drinking time. Where is everybody? While waiting for my friend I perused the menu and ordered a beer. My bartender was charming and pleasant. The beer menu is extensive, both in draft and bottled format, which I appreciate quite a bit. The layout of this place screams BAR (a big bar in the center and a few tables scattered around it, all high tops, and the bar in the main attraction, so I wasn't at all surprised when the food menu was comprised of just a handful of bar food items (Note, though, you can also get pizza from Blue Jeans Pizza next door, so if you're hungry there are eats to be had). I ordered a salad (the only salad), which has a tangy mustardy dressing and nuts and dried cranberries and goat cheese... it was surprisingly delicious. A little later after my friend joined me I also ordered crab cakes, which were also very very good. And for $8, I got 3 hearty crab cakes, which is much more ample of an order than you'd normally see when you order crab cakes. We lingered until about 9 and the place never really picked up (maybe ten more patrons came in, which make it seem less deserted, but not lively). This was fine, since I was enjoying the company of my friend, but, in general, it's nice to have a full but not overcrowded bar. Also, there are new flat screen tvs anywhere, so if you're a game watcher, this would be a good place to watch one. To summarize - Good staff. Nice setup. Great beer selection. Reasonable prices. Small but delectable bar menu (plus pizza). Desperately in need of better signage outside and in the hallways, and, of course, patrons! In other words, go to Loft 266. You'll like it. If you can find it.

To preface this review we went for a surprise birthday party at 6:00pm on a Tuesday and the place was all but empty except for our party due to being upstairs at loft rather than downstairs at blue jeans so I cannot comment on the typical crowds or the standard atmosphere. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the nachos grande which were a touch salty to eat as a meal but I think they would be fine if you were splitting them as they are intended. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food in our group. I definitely plan on returning to blue jeans due to their all you can eat specials on the weekend after experiencing the quality of food from their joint menu.

Nice place, terrible service Be prepared to wait for a loooong time to get the bartender to notice you.

Overpriced drinks, rude staff, not worth it. There are much better bars in Worcester.

Everybody in Worcester knows Blue Jeans Pizza is great, but the apps and burgers here are amazing as well.

I don't rightly know how to review a restaurant I didn't intend to eat at…read more It's not entirely my fault -- the signs outside say "Havana Nights". In five different places. The parking is for Havana Nights. Imagine our surprise when we were handed menus for "The Fokin Ninja" or Taino. That name isn't anywhere. I still don't know what this place is called. I asked our server if the awesome Cuban place moved, and got the weirdest response.. something like "Ahh.. Ohh.. yeah, let me get someone to help you." I probably should have packed up and studied the situation from somewhere else? There were changes in April and it's not Cuban any more. But we were seated with waters and Fokin Ninja menus, so maybe there's some crossover. I don't even know how to describe the menu; you can read it here. Some kind of Mexican-Asian fusion? Prices are steep, from the $18 cocktails to the $30-$40+ entrees. They did have a few specialty rolls for $10, so I tried a few. Look, maybe beef and chicken fusion rolls are your thing, but today I learned that they are not mine. Not at all. Dry beef, dry shredded chicken on top, and the weirdest mash of flavors and textures does not make a delightful roll. Sticky sweet brown sauce with bacon and cream cheese and some sliver of maybe roast beef? Nope nope nope. There just wasn't anything delicious about them.. just weird stuff wrapped in rice and called a fusion roll. The fried fish plate (Pescado Frito) for $32 was pretty good. Hot, fresh, good size, but just bland and unseasoned, as far as I could tell. Came with chimichuri sauce and fried plantains. Fried rice for $22. Loud and cold in there. This is also the first place in Worchester that puts the Tip right on the tab. Not a service charge, just "Tip" and they picked it for you. There is a line where you can write in an additional tip. It ain't right. I can't think of anything that would merit a second star. The kicker? The receipt says "Havana Nights"! I would have enjoyed eating there instead.

But my friend recommended and it did not disappoint. They were at about 35% capacity at the time. Service was good. Our server was really nice. We got a wide variety of items. I don't recall the sushi roll name though. We all got the CHOFAN which was literally the most delicious new thing I've had in a long time. Literal. Perfection. They got steak and shrimp. I got chicken. All three fire. The best way I can describe it is like the most perfect fried rice you've ever had. We also got some table apps veggie spring rolls and gyoza. Both really good but I did ask for this like Asian Thai chili sauce instead of the one that came with the spring rolls because it's like a mayonnaise based sauce and I just wasn't really feeling it. That really complimented the spring rolls better to me. My cocktail was MEDICINA DE AMOR I $22 Hennessy, grand marnier, strawberry and lime juice. To me it was way too sweet and the other one that comes in the IV bag the server said was even sweeter than that. I had to put water in it. But it was cute and I wanted it so. Probably wouldn't get again tho. Restaurant vibe and decor was very aesthetically pleasing. Overall zero complaints. And highly recommend. There is a small Parking lot on the left side and street parking. Also, I heard that they just reopened with a new name so the outside is gonna say Havana but it's called Taino and says it on the door. I was a little confused when I pulled up.

I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.

Our food arrived fairly quickly as well. All of the staff are very friendly & attentive. The space is cool, very relaxing & open. As for the food, it was very, very SALTY. The mussels were good but once you reach the bottom of the bowl it was salty. The flavor of the wings were good but also salty. The ramen was also extremely salty as well so it seems like everything they make here is just overall on the salty side. If they just lessened every dish on that part, it would be perfect. But especially the ramen was very hard to eat without drinking 5 cups of water. The shirley temple was delicious tho! Food is 3/5 but service is a 5/5. So I will say the service definitely saved the rating from 3 stars.

We visited on a Monday morning around 10 am and I thought for sure I was going to a diner. Nope. There's a diner there, but you go in a door next to the diner, I could see the empty diner as I walked by (see picture), but you're pretty much going into a barroom that serves breakfast (see picture). There's a bar with seating around it and a bartender/server behind the counter and all the liquor on shelves. My first thought was it smells like someone has been smoking in here. We grabbed a high top and our server came over with menus and we ordered shortly afterwards. I ordered my usual eggs over easy, corn beef hash, home fries and wheat toast, my husband ordered as omelette and home fries. Our meals were meh, the home fries were dry af and the corn beef hash was un memorable. This is a pretty popular place and we were trying to figure out why? We decided it has to be that they serve alcohol. As we were leaving my husband mentioned the stank of cigarettes so I knew it wasn't only me who could smell it. I gave the stars for the service as I wouldn't go back.
