Located and adjoining the Wine & Roses Resort is the Lodi Wine Visitor Center. Not only do you get the rundown of the city of Lodi but you get to do wine tasting with their wine specialist. A soils person is there too and he will be able to give you the rundown of the soils and climate both of which makes grape growing in Lodi a great fruit for wine Be sure to get the current map of the city where you go at a glance and spot the wineries and eateries

Awesome tasting room! We took a leap of faith and went out of our way to visit this awesome tasting room. Great wines and great service .Located in what seems like a residential area. WORTH THE VISIT!

Wow such a wonderful place to find out all the Lodi has to offer for wine. We also stayed and had a tasting. Bob and Paul are amazing with details of all the wine, wineries and how wines are made at each. We will be stopping here each time we come through town for sure. Thanks for a great experience.

This is a great way to start your Lodi wine experience!! nice clean wine center which offers tastings of the local wines - Really nice hostess, and nice table to sit at ; wine barrels and regular seating. Looks like there's an outside patio. You can pick up a local map your wineries and plan the rest of your excursion

We were quickly greeted by the friendly female hostess who offered us either indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors to enjoy our tastings of both whites & reds . Normally I prefer reds however in the summer I enjoy a crisp Sauvangion Blanc or even a nice Rose. If you purchase a bottle your tasting fee is waived which is always a great deal. We enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for the Alpine Block party event which included tastings at Stonum Vineyards and two other nearby wineries. This fun filled evening included live music, food trucks, and the Lodi Wine trolley shuttling you back & forth between the wineries. Definitely a good time! I highly recommend Stonum Vineyards & Tasting Room for great wine, friendly service and well coordinated, entertaining events.

I had driven by many times and it seemed like an appointment only place but I guess now they have enough staffing to open up the hours and days of the week. First, their reputation has always been very good. They've had some recognition from some reputable wine sources so I had very high expectations for the wine. In, short, the wines were very good. They had a nice selection from rose to the more Lodi styled red wines. I really did enjoy all the wines and the price point seems fair. I guess I was kinda hoping to meet the winemaker, learn more about their vineyards and purpose for growing certain varietals. When you get wine with a story it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I really like this place and I'm hoping to make a stronger connection with the business since I consider myself an advocate for Lodi wines since my hobby is to compare our wines with the best out in the other regions of CA. Pretty heavy competition but so far Lodi is more than able to compete with certain types of wines aka Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah and occasionally Cabernet.

She's welcoming, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. Instead, she creates a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. What really sets her apart is her consistency. It's not just one great visit--every time we've been there, she's gone above and beyond with the same positive energy and attention to detail. Because of her, this winery has become our go-to spot. I even celebrated my 50th birthday here, and it was such a memorable experience. All of my guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing Rachelle was--everyone felt taken care of, comfortable, and truly impressed with the service. The winery itself is beautiful, accommodating, and perfect for gatherings, which made the celebration even better. On top of that, the entire team at Calivirgin is fantastic. Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The wine is excellent, the setting is great, and the people are what truly make this place stand out for us. We'll absolutely keep coming back, and a big reason for that is Rachelle.
