All I remember is that my mother hated how they…read moretreated her and our dog. 25 years later, I decided to give them a second chance with my newly adopted dog. It was very easy to make an appointment and send records. I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early knowing that I needed to fill out paperwork. The receptionist was visibly and verbally upset that we were early. The clinic was dirty and smelled very strongly of urine. The exam room was no better. The appointment for my dog was to establish care. However, I was recommended to do all sorts of treatments and tests that made the appointment cost me almost $1000. The things I did turn down, I was guilt tripped and belittled for declining. There is a sign that says "Let the staff restrain your pet." However the "assistant" looked so scared of my dog that she just stood there. I restained my own dog for them. 1 week later, I needed a refill and was put on hold. They never took me off hold l, so I hung up after 15 minutes. They emailed me to pick up my dog's prescription later in the week. Fast forward to the dog's dental and mass removal. Dropped the dog off at 8am in the morning and heard nothing. I called at 2:30pm wondering how my dog was. They hadn't even gotten to it yet, claiming an emergency kept them busy. I asked to reschedule and they told me no. They said the dog will be done by 6pm. When I picked the dog up, it was groggy and bleeding from it's incision. I was told that was normal. The next day, the bleeding stopped, but the dog was very uncomfortable. Appetite was good, but the dog had diarrhea. Emailed the vet with an update. The vet called me back but was very dismissive and offered little help. Google helped me more. 1 week post surgery, the incision opened up and started bleeding again. Being during the day, I called B&R to get my dog in, since they will help emergencies as previously told. But no answer. After the emergency clinic visit somewhere else, I transferred my records. The dog is doing great and loves their new vet.

There is no clear place to take "reactive" dogs for some alone time to reduce stress. The inside is open and clean. However the openness is also not great for reactive dogs. The staff was WONDERFUL. We had so many questions as first time pet owners (dog) and they were patient answering all our questions. They did a thorough job of looking at our pup and suggesting preventative treatments. They do suggest flea tick and heart worm treatments, which some people may see as an upsell, however I see that as they are really passionate about protecting animals health.

This facility had my cat for 24…read morehours after a cat fight (plus 3 other vet appointments at this location in the span of a week), only for them to send her home with an infected bite wound/infection site on the side of her neck. If I hadn't found it myself the day after picking her up from 24 hour watch (exploding in puss) she would have died. Over $3000 dollars later, 4 separate visits, and multiple blood and organ tests without actually dealing with the problem (an infected neck/bite wound). They refused to reimburse any fees caused by this omission, which they also refuse to admit, stating no medical error occured after attempting to follow up with their management team.

I went by later as it was very late in the afternoon and was concerned about my senior cat. I went in and the vet tech proceeded to yell at me. The vet contacted me to advise me about my cat; I told him about the incident. When I got back, she proceeded to argue with me. This vet tech understandably was having a bad day and took it out on me. No excuse. I have gone to veterans for many years and never experienced such treatment before. Vet Trch needs stress management training,and customer service/people skills.
