Fried cheese curds
Caitlin S.

What a great find! Debbie and her husband took over the restaurant a few years ago and are doing an excellent job. We came in for dinner and three people in our group had prime rib and said it was incredible. We had two orders of the fried cheese curds, they were a hit. Very lightly breaded and have small pieces of jalapeño that were so good. I had the cheesesteak, Debbie said they are known for it and it's clear why! It was absolutely delicious, no wonder they've sold 14,000 of them! We loved the food so much that we came back the next morning for breakfast. The French toast is great, not too sweet! A wonderful find for our snowmobiling weekend

Great food, service and ambiance! Cozy lodge feel. Locals watching sports on bar TVs. Friendly staff and homemade food.

This restaurant is under new management. Their specialty is Philly sandwiches which were very good. Also their homemade fries were amazing!

The stagg was lovely and the entire space is impeccably clean and adorable. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfect.

Bad service and the bloody merry was terrible. Hard to get to the bar because the tables were too close together, and way over priced.

Anglers Riverfront Restaurant - Trout

Anglers Riverfront Restaurant

My family came in as a party of 7 and a dog and got a table with a beautiful view next to Henry's…read moreFork. The service was slow but the restaurant was busy even for 8 pm on a Sunday evening. Our server was very knowledgeable, even about where the trout came from! We all finished our plates (except for the doggy bag wagyu burger for the dog) and had a great dinner.

Tldr - Delicious food, seems popular with the locals and not just tourists, and friendly staff…read more Reasonably priced with easy parking. Great view of the river from the dining room. Decided to stop in on a whim as we were not feeling all the touristy dinner spots in West Yellowstone. It was a weekday and we arrived an hour before closing without a reservation... it was packed, but a few tables looked open. However, they told us they weren't sure if we'd get a table since there were other parties waiting. We decided to take a flier and wait anyway since it was late. 20 minutes later, we were seated. Our server was very chipper and friendly, gave recommendations, and was proactive about letting us know what they'd run out of. (In my opinion, a place that runs out of some ingredients is a signal that they serve things fresh or not at all, a green flag.) My partner and I each got a variety of the chicken sandwich, while our friends shared the steak. Portions were large, chicken and steak was cooked appropriately, and the fries were some of the best any of us have ever had. All in all, we were glad we decided to forego the tourist traps closer to the park entrance. Anglers Riverfront was wonderful. We were even lucky enough to glimpse the sunset across the river while we ate, and we left happy with full bellies just before they closed up for the night. Would definitely stop by again next time we find ourselves in Island Park. Thanks so much for the hospitality, Anglers team.

Madison Crossing Lounge - Elk Ossobuco. Fall off the bone. Be sure get the marrow from the bone and put it on the elk. Paired wine went well with it. 5/5.

With our expectations in check, we chose this restaurant for last nights supper. What a pleasant surprise!! The menu was comprised of interesting dishes that you won't find every day. The service was spot on. Knowledgeable, friendly, patient, welcoming. Our dishes were a pure delight. We enjoyed Idaho trout, bison steak, their speciality salad, and blueberry bread pudding. Every dish was delightful; fresh, full of local flavors. If you visit West Yellowstone, this place is the second most important destination right after the park!

The Huckleberry lemonade was very good and was recommended. While Reis was good, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were very good. The bison tenderloin was good, but I think it's better served as a ground meat in a burger form. It was tender, but not as flavorful as some of the other bison, I've recently had. The ambience is a pub/bistro setting. The service was exceptional as my server attended to me several times to check in on how was my meal
